Clary Sage is the plant from which they derive amboxan, so Dalmatian Sage does have very distict “pour homme” edge to it as ambroxan nowadays is in almost any masculine citrus or woody fragrance.

I am testing this right now and I am just left unimpressed. It reminds me of an older guy, in his late 40s,who pulls this off in the 80s. It is made for the same guy who wears Kouros by YSL.
Fresh, but in a very uncitrusy way: it is the sage that kind of reminds me of a riverside that is mostly populated with frogs, while citruses and pepper are almost undetectable. It is a good scent, but only a few people could really pull it off. I will never be able to.
