This scent is a very green, soapy scent that is a cologne that to me resembles Irish Spring soap ! It’s that simple but still this is a decent scent for a really good price. Funny thing is this smells almost EXACTLY like Playboy Ibiza. Only difference is Cuba green is brighter and slightly more soapy whereas Ibiza id smoother but in Ibiza there’s a note in there that bothers me so if I had to choose between the 2 I’d pick Cuba Green.
So if you like Irish Spring Soap and want a cologne version check this out !
Performance on this is decent ! It lasts 5-8 hours but with only average projection.
Overall rating —6.5 out of 10 ! Only slightly better than average but every now and then I just want a simple soapy scent so for that reason I’m happy I have this in my collection

Dylan Blue by Versace is a perfect copy of Cuba Green. I like both of them, but Cuba Green appeared before lhe Versace scent and is a lot cheaper.

    CHEAP DEODORANT FROM THE 90’S
    _______________________________________________________
I have to admit, I only acquired this fragrance because it was extremley cheap. Unfortunately, now I know, why it was that cheap… because this is a cheap fragrance.
It smells like a deodorant from the 90’s. Yes, it is somehow fresh, but that kind of ‘old’ freshness, which I do not like anymore.
Overall: You cannot go wrong with 3 € for 100 ml, but still…
    Longetivity: – 1/10
    Sillage: medium – 3/10
All in all: 2 out of 10 points.

This is the worst thing I’ve ever smelled. I love Cuba Gold, Orange and Prestige. But this one is nausea in a bottle.
The frags I don’t like usually still have a redeeming quality. This one doesn’t have any in my nose.
There is a note or chord that makes me feel sick. I smell it in the middle stage of Boss Bottled, for example. This stench is the only element I can pick up in this fragrance. There is notign else for my nose just that nauseating stench. At least in other perfumes it is mixed with some bearable notes, but here it takes all the stage. No idea what it is but it’s terrible.
I don’t know the other fragrances this is compared to, but if they are really similar it explains why I smell this disgusting note or chord so often on people. Hard to believe there are other frags that give the center role to this. I also smell it very strong in Cuba Red but at least there is the tobacco in Red to make it less awful.
The sad thing is that I’m quite convinced that this is a good copy of a terrible frag.
The description sounds so good, woody chypre, green, earthy, mossy… mouthwatering.
But the smell is nausea in a bottle.
This is the biggest proof for me that our noses are so different, and memories and scents are closely intertwined. I must associate this with something very unpleasant from my childhood.

Very sinilar to the Hugo Boss Hugo and a couple other green scents.. Similar too to Amazinggreen in a way.. All the Cuba scents are a great value..

This one is pretty good, probably my second favorite in the 4 pack I got. Its the summertime fragrance in the pack. I will definitely wear this one in the spring and summer.
    7/10 overall.

After reviewing some of the CUBA line I have to only agree with what has been said about this one. The strong boozy green intro complements the woodiness of this fragrance. I want to say more lime green than a forest green but you still pick up the wood. A nice clean lightly soapy vibe nothing in your face. I have to give Cuba an other compliment on this one. In the dry down not lasting as long as I wish but a feelgood after your shower scent!

Yes, to me, smell similar to Hugo by Hugo Boss. The only problem are longevity and sillage that in my skin are very poor, but hey, it’s a bargain fragrance.
    Regards.

This is really nice. A green (aptly) and woody refreshing fragrance. Some earthy/woody tones in the middle but stays green, a sort of lemon/lime with soapy notes in the background and really lovely. Silage and longevity are moderate I would say. The soapy/green and woody notes work very well here. Cuba Green is another pleasant Cuba scent in the range and great value for money. I bought this blind and I love it !

    Edit on 2-19-2013:
I am going to say I am 94% sure it smells like Hugo by Huo Boss…
It is very nice and a great value.
Versace Pour Homme, Boss Bottled, Hugo Boss for men..
That clean fresh scent.. I am sure it is a direct rip of a famous clean scent but it is very difficult to pin point.. I’ll figure it out and edit this but in the mean time it is a great deal.. If it gives me at least 3-4 hours it is a keepr…
Cuba Paris is a rascal again ripping off a top designer scent.. 7-10 stars..
    It would be a 9-10 stars if it weren’t a rip-off :-)..

A very memorable scent with a strong woodsy fragrance. This is one of my every day colognes that I wear. Its a good manly and empowering scent but its not a drowning scent like others. For me, this is an 8/10.

Reminds to Boss Bottled by Hugo Boss!

This seems to be an “homage” to Escape for Men, though I find this more subtle, and for me, in this case, that means more wearable. There seems to be a mild herbal element, rosemary perhaps, and the base is rather blended, though clearly a little ambery. At first, I think there is citronella, along with some fruitiness, and the latter persists for a long time. If you hate any fragrance that even hints at a “bubble gum” quality, avoid this one. Overall, it’s okay as a change of pace, at least for me. The atomizer is very fine (on my 100 ml bottle) so I have to spray at least four times whereas I usually spray once or twice with other bottles. I’ll give it a positive review because it’s not “bad” in any way and for the price I don’t feel justified in criticizing it for not having any “special” qualities. This is quite “rounded,” so don’t expect any harshness, “green” or otherwise.
I can understand gmmcnair’s idea that this is somewhat similar to the original Polo. Some have claimed that Polo has been reformulated into something much tamer than what it was originally. If that’s true, then gmmcnair may be right, but I’d call Cuba Green the baby food version of the original Polo, though it’s more focused on a kind of light fruity/ambery thing rather than on the herbs, leather, moss, and tobacco, so it may not be fair to compare the two, depending upon which two are being discussed. It’s sad we don’t always know if we are talking about the same fragrance, due to reformulations, but I doubt the situation will get better any time soon.

I like this one…it definitely has a Polo Green vibe going on my skin. Longevity is dismal at about an hour, but the fragrance cost less than five dollars for a 1.1 oz EDT spray.
For what it is, it is quite nice.
