My bottle is in cubic shape and has “Comme Une Evidence Le Parfum” on the front. It has a square clear cap on top, and does not have the tear drop shape sprayer as seen on the main photo in here. Don’t know which one is which and how accurate the notes from my bottle are actually, compared to the notes in here.
Anyway, I like the scent (from my bottle) a lot, as it smells as a woody/oudy rose fragrance to my nose, very sensual, sophisticated, floral and so smooth.

This does indeed resembles the EDP but it is less fresh, less screechy. The violet leaf + rubharb note in the EDP makes me feel queasy like aftershave often does, but I don’t get this effect from the Parfum. I believe the new packaging for this one is a regular sprayer, not a “pear shaped” atomiser anymore… I really get the awesome nutmeg (which the EDP definitely doesn’t have) and the warmer wood notes, as well as the clean patchouli. To me this line has always felt astringent and ozonic from the Violet leaf + oakmoss. Despite the praline, It is still a floral, not a gourmand. The praline is “dry”, not vanillic. I much prefer this to Edp and I’m not usually a “pure Parfum is best” kinda perfumista. Quality is great… The notes are really clear, not muddled or nondescript. This scent is so recognizable, I do believe it would make a good everyday signature for someone grown up and “proper”. It smells sharp and smart but also friendly. I love Yves Rocher!

This little atomiser bottle is a jewel on my fragrance tray, grouped right with my other Evidence formulations. Comme Une Evidence Le Parfum is as beloved by me as the Comme Une Evidence Eau De Parfum and Eau De Toilette version since its launch in 2003. Somehow, since that time, over a dozen years has passed very quickly! The first purchase of Evidence succeeded in utter fragrance seduction of my handsome young husband. He adores this fragrance on me more than any other, on the days I wear it, I often reach for it based upon whether he will be working with me or home with me on that day! Within that first hour of yummy large sillage, he rarely fails to stop, pull me in closer, and breathe Evidence in deeply. Yay, me for the happy marriage insurance in a bottle that this is for me! He loves EL Pleasures, which, I would say is a bit sharper, more aromatic and green in comparision, but could be in the same family, but he does not like EL Pleasures nearly as much as this! Evidence succeeded also in boosting womanly confidence in my twenty-something self as an at home mother and wife, and by helping me at feeling amazing during Sunday church, busy days at home as domestic engineer, shopping, meeting friends for lunch and date nights, or spending the evening in yoga pants and hoodie cuddling our young first-born daughter and toddler son. This fragrance has been a dozen years of a constant warm, radiant sense of elegance and blooming olfactory beauty for those who love and know me best. I have enjoyed 12 plus years of compliments from many. What a confidence booster!
Fast forwarding to my current busy life, and I am slightly over 40, ssh, just between you and me, and managing our first two children, and a little boy, littlest boy and toddler girl besides, and owning and daily managing two companies, one with my aforementioned, still handsome husband and in a board room once per month, this amazing Le Parfum is amazingly perfectly suited and a signature of mine. No matter what favorites of “new” perfume I introduce, including a recent test of the very delicious, elegant and mature Armani Si, my husband will say, “I do like it, but not as much as what you already have.” Attending formal industry dinners, and meeting with clients, Sunday church, shopping with daughters, tea parties, date nights, or yoga pants and hoodie evenings, this fragrance is still just right. Evidence is also as lovely in every season as the next. Winter is settling in here and autumn is almost over in the Northeastern USA and, while Diorissimo seems so etheral and “unfit”in the crisp and cool air, almost as odd as finding a sprig of Lily among the autumn leaves, Evidence is vibrant and brightness amid the air of fall and the chill of winter,Evidence, I look forward to comfort me with warmth like favorite winter mittens, knit hat and scarf. Being honest, I prefer the Eau De Parfum and even Eau De Toilette if reaching for this fragrance during the hottest summer days. This elegant Le Parfum is still appropriate for an evening affair in the air conditioning, however!
This is as perfect a balance of lily of the valley, jasmine and rose as I could have ever wanted. While I love Idylle for its jasmine, rose and lily blend, it is rose dominant on a Guerlinade base. I love my Diorissimo eau de Toilette, which is almost singularly Lily of the Valley with a touch of Jasmine, and I adore my Diorissimo eau de Parfum, which is Lily,Rose and Jasimine as well, unbelievably, this far less expensive Le Parfum and Eau De Parfum capture and blend these three with such beautiful complexity. One moment, I am sure that I’ve gone wandering in the rose garden of an elegant old estate. The next, I am transported to warm, sunny Southern California, where my mother grows Jasmine in her window box gardens. A short while later, it is mid-May, I am 13 again and enveloped in fragrant heaven, a shaded garden patch of Lily of the Valley behind a childhood home in the countryside. These gorgeous florals take turns emerging and providing an olfactory serenade as hours go on and the heartnote plays on and on. The longevity of this fragrance is fantastic! Diorissimo is here and gone so quickly, that would be my main complaint about it. Comme une Evidence has equal staying power to my Idylle and Idylle Duet Lilas Jasmine. Both of those have very high price points, and again, Evidence is second to none! During, and after Oakmoss, Patchouli and Musk creates a warm, cozy, cashmere sweater cloaking of forest woods which, on me, wafts in waves throughout the heart notes, and on to 8 plus hours later, depending upon how I layer. Patchouli in this blend is also a perfect balance. The sickening, off putting version in So Elixer Purple also by YR, which is a Tuberose and Patchouli blend is, by contrast, overpowering. If THAT is patchouli, I’d want none of it. Patchouli as it appears in Comme Une Evidence is heavenly and blended with a musky base of deliciousness and oakmoss to take away from excessive sweetness.
This is a definite DO NOT MISS. This particular Le Parfum, to me, is not different, but a more intense concentration of the same Eau De Parfum that I have always loved. Perhaps the patchouli, musk, and Lily of the Valley are a bit more intense, but perfect just the same. The elegant bottle mists very potent but quite small droplets of the heavenly pink juice. Two puffs, layered with shower gel and body lotion from the Evidence line at YR, and you will not be disappointed, I have gotten about 6 hours easily of fragrant experience. Sillage naturally decreases over about three hours, and is strongest during the first hour of course. If in close quarters, you may want to apply an hour before leaving the house to enjoy the huge sillage alone, although I have never gotten a negative reaction from Evidence, ever, large sillage or not.

I was so lucky that a local lady I traded with suggested this for me. the perfume version is not as tender as Comme une Evidence. As others mentioned even a tiny spray of this will get noticed. I would say that it is very rich. The little flattened cube bottle. the taller one doesn’t smell very similar. If you happen to see it grab it as it actually has the oil ratio to be called a perfume not EDP,
At very first spray it has a kind of overly ripe smell like the roses turned to wine. Sparkling oak moss comes in and cleans up adding class to a very stong rose, jasmin, patch mix. Sweetend only in the begining by muget. The woods the nutmeg, musk and amber are so balanced with the strong rose and other florals it certainly smells expensive. One thing is that this perfume evolves and even temperature may effect it. Tonight it is hot and a very realistic crisp rose is coming through with some fresh green patchouli. It makes me miss my garden in the best way. Then it turns more clean and spicey. Sometimes I get a strong jasmine/rose like in E.Saab. It’s always pleasing no matter what stage it’s at.I wish I could hug the lady that gave me such a good deal on this perfume.
In winter this one can last 10 or more hours hot humid nights like this, 4 give or take.

A very nice Perfum! Fresh mix of Lily-of-the-valley, patchouli, rose, woody notes and Musk. Longlasting on my skin.
En riktigt trevlig parfym! Fräsch mix av Liljekonvalj, Patchouli, Ros, Tränoter och Musk. Mycket hållbar på min hud.

On me this perfume smells like a place in the wood where a beautiful house with a huge flower garden used to be. The house is now demolished, the garden is abandoned, the flowers and plants grow naturally as they wish. It’s a warm, quiet afternoon, you are walking and then you discover this place. I smell warm, sensual rose, some noble, white flower mixed with savage plant scents -the lily-of-the-valley, some aromatic bushes, some moss, some tree bark and golden pine resin drops which make this scent balsamic, maybe even earthy. Noble garden flowers protected by the wood which adds to the perfume a masculine, woody vibe (it gets stronger if the scent is applied too much).
More suitable for evening and special occasions. Be careful with applying- if it’s too much, can be too strong and nauseating. Otherwise- an excellent, classic perfume.

cute bottle with pear-spray and the most tender-spirit-lifting scent
You know, when you are in a spring forest and everything amazingly vulnerable, lily-of-the-valley on the moss base – all those clean innocent associations…
Never thought rose can be so delicate, without playing solo, and patchouli so sensible
    Exceeded all possible expectations!

Ooh I really love it (thank you HeidiLynn below for the sample!), but it creates a problem for me because – where will I ever find it? and there are so many variants with almost the same name, too, that seem to be quite different in their notes. This one has a lovely combination of rose and woody notes, and the lily of the valley keeps it fresh. I’m immediately obsessed with this!

This was a total blind swap—rid of a disliked fragrance for the great unknown, and I am so happily surprised! First, the bottle (with pink netted squeeze bulb) is adorable. Second, this is a patchouli heavy floral that works on my skin! It reminds me of the first 5 minutes of Lovely (which then I stopped being able to smell/or it disapeared) and this is lovely! The LOTV is heavy and true, but not overbearing; it mingles with the beautiful rose and is softened by the earthy, papery, incense-y-ness of the patchouli. It is imbedded on a lovely white musk that seems to allow the floral notes to comingle with my natural skin scent and oils. I just can’t stop smelling my arm!
It’s a 110 degree day, and this scent is surviving well–about 4 hours, going strong.
EDIT: this lasts amazingly well on clothing (and on my seatbelt in the car, of all things!)
I keep going back and reviewing the notes on this one, and see that Nutmeg is listed. I think this may be one of the reasons I really love this fragrance; the nutmeg is not prominent, but it is there with a warm, subtle spiciness that balances out what would otherwise be a cold fragrance. It adds nice depth and character. I love this fragrance more every time I wear it!

Hmm… I do have to come back at my previous review…
I prefer the edp version over this. The parfum version has a too strong nutmeg note in the opening that I don’t like. The edp version does not have this note and is pleasantly floral right from the beginning. I also think that I smell too much of the oakmoss.
And, weird but true, the edp lasts longer on me and has more sillage than this one!

This is very floral, and to my nose too perfumey, I don’t care for it, I liked EDT more, it was fresher, lighter .This one is hard to wear casually, as it is strong, but for lovers of heady floral then sure, the price is acceptable,it has good longevity, it is mature, lots of rose, and a bit linear, I expected better.

I just received this one. I already have the edp and really adore this scent. And now purchased the parfum version which is warmer and creamier. I think I like this one even more!
After reading all the reviews about the perfume evaporating I was hoping this perfume would come with a regular cap AND the atomizer, so that I could put the regular cap back on after use… Unfortunately it does not come with an extra cap, BUT it does come with a plastic tip that has to be removed before you can use the atomizer. Good thing is that you can also place the plastic tip back… so that is what I will be doing, I don’t want this gorgeous perfume to get lost in air… It’s really a masterpiece! The best of YR’s collection! ***LOVE***CHERISH***ADORE***

I love this perfume, but I’ll never buy it again, as the only bottle available in my country is the one with the atomizer, gorgeous but too evaporation-prone.
I bought my first bottle two years ago and I liked it so much that I used it up very shortly after purchase. I decided to buy a second one last year just to add it to my collection and use it from time to time. I checked it regularly during the first months, following Gypsy Parfumista’s valuable advice (btw, great review!), but during the last 4 months I’ve been very busy and just forgot to do so. Yesterday I opened the box and discovered that virtually all of the juice had evaporated, and the only remaining liquid was murky, reddish, very thick and oily. To think I was very happy with its longevity on my skin. I wish my CUE had had good longevity inside the bottle too!
I’m writing this review in order to warn you not to make the same mistake as I made: if you’d like to buy this fragrance only for collecting purposes think twice or make sure you can keep an eye on it more regularly than I did.
Though not altogether unique, this is a beautiful, classy, woody-rosey fragrance. Unlike many offerings of the same brand it’s extremely pricey if you don’t buy it on sale (I just saw it’s priced the same as the 30ml-bottle of Miss Dior Original!), so Yves Rocher, if you’re planning to go high-end again, please do it better and don’t make us waste our money!

My story with Evidence is somewhat of a puzzle I cannot solve: as an EDP I absolutely loved it!! The comment about romance in a bottle is dead-on!! It is just so touching, sentimental, hopefull and fragile!!!! It smells expensive, not giving away at all that YR is the middle-pricerange brand. I could not wait to have it, and when I did – it seemed to have a rather good staying power, never seazed to make me feel happy and just gave me butterflies sometimes, and others obviously too, since I got asked A LOT , what I was wearing. How much I was looking forward to using the pure perfume elixir in that sleek rectangle bottle with a angel-pink pump!! And here came the blow: the fabric ( a stretchy net )on the pump tore up 2 days later ( and I mean, how much damage can one really do by squeezing it once or twice?! ) and the scent was evaporating instantly, lacking that freshness from the start and rather having too much powder in it. 20 mins onwards – nothing, not a trace – not a singe “evidence” of it ever resting on my skin. I think I used up the whole bottle in a week, spaying it all over me in fits of angry dissappointment every morning. I just don’t know what happened there. I have not lost all of my faith in it and have now purchased an EDP version for my aunt who was gasping in admiration the 1st time I wore this. I am hopefull, but would never consider Elixir again. For comparison – it is a more floral version of Gucci II, there’s something similar in the basenotes of both. I do not think I will be buying it again since I like Gucci II a little more and it has never let me down, but if one day I cannot afford it – this is my choice nr. 2 when I am in need of an uplifting summer fragrance with a romantic twist.

I love Comme Une Evidence Le Parfum and its Eau de Parfum. The EDT is lovely as well, but too light and fleeting for my tastes. Le Parfum is stronger than the Eau de Parfum, more ‘perfumey’ and sweeter (not in the gourmand sense though), a dressier version that still retains the ethereal, silken freshness of it’s EDP and EDT. Wearable in all seasons. Lovers of romantic florals and clean, green notes will appreciate it. It’s elegant, romantic, feminine, sensual and refined. This will make a fantastic scent for the springtime bride. For me personally, I find it too ‘pretty’ to wear to the office, and it feels too precious to wear as a daily scent. If you like Ralph Lauren’s Romance, you will love this, it’s like a classier, sweeter, more graceful and potent Romance.
PS. I tried the one with the atomizer.

This is probably the best scent Yves Rocher has to offer, it is truly something special and a modern masterpiece. It’s a deeply feminine, classic floral scent that exudes elegance and refinement. It is very complex, incredibly long lasting and a true statement of class.

I was browsing the French YR website and I came across the perfume pyramid for this fragrance. I could see that nutmeg is not among the top notes, but hazelnut tree leaves, as a green accord, combined with the two other notes gypsy parfumista commented on in his review: violet leaves and silk tree leaves. This is not surprising, as this fragrance smells much fresher and greener than “gourmand” in its opening.

Edit: I recently purchased the 1 oz Le Parfum Exrait version with the puff-ball atomizer. I also currently own the EDP version.
Comme Une Evidence is a classic chypre with great staying power and is fresh, clean, and woody. Great for day or evening.
The Le Parfum Extrait version, with atomizer, warms up a bit as it dries. I can smell slight praline and nutmeg 15minutes after one spray on my wrist. I must say, I love this version much better!
NOTE: If you like this frag, you may also like Ralph Lauren Romance!

First, I must thank gypsy parfumista for his helpful and informative review of this scent. I had a chance to sniff Le Parfum while on vacation in Paris, and I fell in love with it but had no room in the suitcase to bring it back. After reading gypsy parfumista’s review, I decided to wait and watch for an Elixir de Parfum.
One came up on the auction site a couple weeks ago and I bought it, along with a solid of the same scent. I’ll review both formats.
Elixir de Parfum: Just when I thought scents like this stopped being made in the early 1980’s, along comes this one from 2008. Comme une Evidence is such a beautiful scent. Reading the notes listed for it here doesn’t give you any idea of how it might actually smell. On my skin, it’s a true classic chypre and reminds me of a less-animalic, slightly more floral Paloma Picasso. It is remarkably complex, not especially sweet (in spite of the praline), and has a classic oakmoss and patchouli aroma in the base. I get a lot of violet leaf and rose, and they linger for hours in this concentration. The whole composition lasts a good 12+ hours on my skin, evolving slowly to that luscious chypre base. Two squirts is more than enough, and if applied with a heavy hand, it can easily become too much even for people who love it.
The solid perfume: Yves Rocher’s cream parfums are inexpensive and good for the purse or travel. The packaging on this one is a cute, peachy-pink clamshell with gold lettering. The solid for Comme une Evidence smells great in the container, but this is NOT the best medium for such a complex fragrance. Most of the top notes and some of the middle notes are held down by the waxy base (which is not atypical for a solid). The solid actually smells the way the Elixir smells after it has been on my skin for about six hours. Also, the longevity on the solid is poor, and the scent dissipates after an hour or so. If you’re interested in trying this scent, seek out a sample vial or one of the little towelettes rather than the solid. 🙂

I was introduced to this perfume by accident. Then, it happen to be accidentally in love with it. Actually, I just bought the perfume bottle in eBay because I want to use the bottle. Well, i need something with fancy puffer on my make-up table to make it look classy.
Okay now back to the perfume. It start with amber+nutmeg smell and followed by rose and end with musky woodsy notes. Warm, rich and creamy lingering perfume. Perfect for cold season and night. I love the smell after drydown too. Very classy with classic touch, but still wearable. Suit more older women with career. My hubby say this is a provocative perfume, and very sexy to him.
No matter what other say, I should thank to YR for this creation. I disagree when somebody mention this perfume smell cheap. This perfume is kind of perfume to be wear with right garment. You wear like a trash, you end up like garbage. But if you wear something classy, you’ll end up smelling like the rich and famous.

Since ther seems to be some confusion here about Elixir vs. Le Parfum; I will give my spin on both of them:
Evidence XDP (eliXir De Parfum): The most concentrated form of CUE available. This begins with the airy floral of silk tree blossoms combined with the aromatic green of fresh violet leaves-Wow! Its simple heart is composed of wild lily-of-the-valley, as many of you know, one of the most classic green floral scents of all time. Here it is captured alongside musk and patchouli for a darker more long lasting version of the original Evidence and though I liked it I found it a little much for me…
    Sillage: great
    Longevity: Tremendous
    Overall: 4.25/5
To borrow a term from sherapop, this is almost ‘chewy’ in it’s thickness and for those of you who enjoy a massive green floral chypre…have at it!
Now, for the “Le Parfum” review: To me this is a more streamlined version of CUE. It has violets in all their gentle beauty, jasmine in it’s sweet floral sexiness and simple warm patchouli. Of all the Evidence flankers I had, this one worked the best on my skin and I would still wear it more today but unknown to me, the atomiser top came loose in my armoire of YR and I did not notice until half of it evaporated!! What was left was obviously mostly perfumed oils as they are thick and lipid like (and stained the test strip) and I use it very sparingly, as YR prices (for some reason) have gone through the roof and I do not even know if this is still available in the US.
*If you have the 1 oz Le Parfum with the fancy puff ball atomiser spray, check it regularly, or you’ll be sorry!*
    Sillage: nice
    Longevity: very good
    Overall: 4.5/5
Simple, well blended and very nice flanker, definitely my favorite of the four I had. As far as nutmeg and pralines go, I have no idea what that might be in (maybe yet another LE) but I daresay adding a gourmand edge to Evidence would shift it out of the chypre group and ultimately make it too sweet and cloying…
Hope these helped anyone who was confused about the bevy of Evidences YR saw fit to release…Smell swell!!

See this scent is exactly how you expect it to be when you see the bottle: lovely. I agree with pegster, it’s very gentle, something you could wear everyday. Not too fancy. But I am not too fussy about the development of a scent anyway. I love it when there is one, it makes life more interesting. But I don’t mind when there is none, It just means I have to decide straight away to love – or not love – what is there.

Oh its amber and florals bursting AT YOUR FACE with no depth, no complexity at all !. YIkes. Smells really cheap. Doesnt evolve, doesnt evoke… leaves only a cheap bad impression. Yikes. I wont even give it as a present.

Similar to Comme une Evidence, but stronger and long-lasting. Even if you put a small amount, it is ‘smellable’ (which is disliked by some people).
Feminine, classic, mature. I would say a daily fragrance for colder seasons. Suitable for office.
