After last year’s edition for women created in exotic-oriental spirit – Korloff Gold, Korloff is presenting a new fragrance for women Korloff In Love at this year’s TFWA in Cannes. Its composition was announced as very sensual and elegant, and in its creation mostly natural raw materials were used.
Composition of the perfume Korloff In Love opens with accords of pink pepper and feminine peony. The romantic and seductive opening blends with the floral heart blooming with rose, ylang-ylang and sambac jasmine, resting gently on a warm and smoky base created of papyrus, oud and patchouli. Depth of the composition is highlighted by balmy and hot tonka beans.
The fragrance arrives in a glass flacon lined with metal colored in gold, while the stopper has the form of precious stone. New bottle design is reminiscent of a luxurious ring with luxurious gemstone, which is a means for the brand Korloff to remind us that they are real artists in the creation of luxurious jewelry. The new fragrance Korloff In Love exudes admiration and desire.
In Love was launched in 2013.

A truly feminine oud-rose perfume!
I couldn’t test many oud perfumes to date, but from my limited past experience I realized the existence of two groups: one unisex and the other masculine. But not anymore. This one clearly has the feminine touch. I estimate that sexy feminine touch coming from a well-blended, very sweet background of coumarin-vanilla, patchouli, and ylang-ylang.
Anyhow, this remains oriental, serious, and smoky. It’s formal and better for special occasions. It would be a great choice for women inclined to vintage style/fashion perfumes. The longevity and sillage are both perfect.

I have a cold so I can’t really tell you how it developed on me during the day. However, the bottle leaked in transport so it smelled out of the box. I can compare it to Tom Ford White Patchouli, my DH does not agree.
This morning a colleague stopped my my office and asked me what’s the smell, “Camphore?”. Go figure.
Foir now all I can tell that it is strong and now whatever comes through my stuffed nose is like stems of the roses, like a very green rose.
I sprayed three sprays at 7:30 a.m. and now at 2:30 p.m. something still is evident even through my stuffed nose. Not bad. Will probably update when I am at my full capacity.
Korn – :
At first sniff it’s too rosy and oudy, but later it calms down to become a powdery scent. I feel the rose and some woody ingredient too heavy though, so will not be my favorite one. Very characteristic.
