Description

The “deco boudoir chic” design house launches Chantal Thomass Eau de Toilette in June 2010. Chantal Thomass design emphasizes sex appeal and femininity in perfumes, as it does in its seductive lingerie. Gentle and explosive, exciting and juicy, voluptuous, and majestic at the same time, Chantal Thomass Eau de Toilette leaves a voluptuous trace on the skin, similar to the one of fine silk lingerie.

“For those who dream of lightness, of grace and carefreeness; for all the free, dynamic and passionated women who share a fascination of elegance and refinement. Reveal your femininity with Chantal Thomass’ Eau de Toilette! “

From the beginning of the composition, the explosive roses are strengthened by sparkling fresh notes of rhubarb, grapefruit and black currant, which express the deep sensuality. The heart merges gently on a spicy note of ginger aphrodisiac, laid on the musky background of cedar and ambergris.

Befitting the designer, the package was conceived as a piece of fine lingerie, elegant and provocative. The perfume is placed in a gentle pink bottle of feminine shape, surrounded by a lace garter. The box shows a subtle graphic of lace, satin and red bow. Harcourt Paris Studio is signing the advertising photography.

Chantal Thomass is available as EDT of 30, 50 and 100 ml.

This is subtle, it’s delicate, powdery and a little sexy. Something to spray on just before bed. It is like silk lingerie because it sits close to the skin but it’s not cloying or suffocating. It’s alluring and attractive. I like it. If you like Agent Provocateur Eau Emotionelle then I think you’ll like this.

Enticing & refreshingly fruity with a hint of the cassis essence. The Rose scent flirts with the amber note. When I sprayed it on I knew instantly it was a fruity/floral. The citrus is very present as well. I might eventually experience the rhubarb & cedar notes as it settles on my skin.
Overall a very delicate yet spunky & slightly cheeky spring & summer scent. The Bottle is also quite unique with the lace garter.
    Bravo!

On my skin this was a light, sweet rose scent.
Not keen on this one. Didn’t pick up on ginger or wood notes.

First time testing Chantal Thomass. First sniff was quite strong and fresh. After a few minutes, the smell was repulsive and the ginger is way too much. Gives me a headache.

Rhubarb must be a note I’m anosmic to, as after the initial blast of it upon applying Chantal Thomass it disappears for the duration of the scent. For the first 10-15 minutes the scent completely disappears on me, then comes back with a vengeance in a wave of sour, rotten lemon juice with bits of musty ginger candies and old cedar chips thrown into the mix. How is this supposed to evoke lingerie and feminine sexuality?
