Unfortunately for me the patchouli/musk comes on a little stronger on this one than I would have liked but it’s still decent. I’d rate it a 7/10.

I’m not too sure what Paris was thinking when it came to marketing this collection. I almost overlooked these passport scents completely because they look like something a child would wear—not a grown Woman. However, they do smell amazing! Especially this one!

I just purchased a body spray of this scent today at Marshall’s, and I LOVE it! It reminds me of Victoria’s Secret Tease, but it is lighter and fresher. Even though it’s a body spray, I can definitely smell it on myself, and it lasts a few hours on the skin and clothes. Check this out if you haven’t. I am just sorry that I did not purchase this perfume when it first came out! 🙂

Now I’ve had all of the Passport perfumes. This was the last one and south beach was the first one and by a coincidence those are my favorites. Passport Paris is a very warm and full perfume that is quite unlike the other Passport perfumes that are comparable light. This one actually even reminds me of Muglers Angel and also has the best longvity comparde to the other Passports perfumes. This one took me by surprise due to its fullness and longvity, like a little sister to the real gourmand perfumes.

I really like this. The peach & honeysuckle make this such a bright fragrance. Almost happy. Wish I had a larger bottle than what I have. So unusual. A great blind buy.

I love the beginning of this!! But on me it breaks down!! Darn it.Patchouli is not my friend! And yep, thats what pokes out at the end. 🙁

Bought a small bottle when I was ordering a few other perfumes and to be honest , I didn’t bother too much with it when it arrived. I forgot I had it and decided to wear it for something different. I was quite surprised. It’s a really nice well blended perfume. It’s a fruity floral sure, but something about the patch, musc and vanilla is just right and gives it a little bit of depth and grown upness if you know what i mean. Now to find a bigger bottle…

Not to be overlooked, this is a really pretty peachy berry vanilla with a lot of creamyness. The vanilla smells warm, full, and golden. There is a pinch of patchouli to give it just a hint of depth, and a soft discreet floral accord.
This scent is a crowd pleaser, I get a lot of compliments when I wear it.
The quality is about medium, but the smell is fantastic to me, all smooth with no rough artificial fruity edges.
Whenever I look at my 100 mL bottle I’m surprised to see how much I’ve used compared to my other fragrances.
It really is easy and joyful to wear.

Well now this is a real perfume, and not watered down little girls starter scent as the bottle would suggest! Unexpected. I smell root beer float and an get interesting sweet creamy playful vibe. This makes me very happy. I am getting over the sweet shock I go into when I first spray this on,(that part only lasts 20 seconds) and I have to admit that I’ve been craving it a lot.
The berry-peach-jasmine-vanilla combo with a touch of patchouli might be faking the root beer smell. As bluepistachio stated in her review, the patchouli comes off as minty, lending a unique medicinal edge to this which I am loving. Maybe a bit unusual smelling but I really like it-it makes this fragrance interesting.
This lasts around 6 hours on me, and the last 3 hours are really the best. The root beer float gets creamier and the notes blend together smelling more natural-very comforting and gourmand.
Update: does anyone else think this has some strange scent connection to Alien? I was shocked to realize this. Maybe it’s the jasmine/patch/amber?Just read Kendallmanson’s review and couldn’t agree more! Very addictive scent.

I don’t think this smells like the city of Paris at all I mean especially compared to Paris by Yves Saint Laurent but that’s not the point. This smells really nice. It opens with soft citrus but mostly peach. Peach openings in frags are my favorite. Girly. Sweet. The flower that most stands out is the peony which is already such a delicate flower. It smells pink and feminine but not terribly French. There is a real strong honeysuckle note and I think honeysuckle must be Paris Hilton’s favorite scent because it keeps showing up in so many of her fragrances, the same goes with peach. The dry down is lovely amber. This is nothing extraordinary just a simple peach floral but very nice.

I use this as a top over weak fragrances, and it smells all day. Try it with SJP Lovely and you will be amazed at the combination.Use it as a fragrance enhancer and you will be glad you tried it.

I like it! That’s my first Paris Hilton’s fragrance, and it’s so lovely! This one reminds me another fragrances, when I spray it on my skin I thought: “I’ve already smell something like that”. Well, when I spray it, is very similar with Sex And The City fragrance, which one I love. They’re almost the same, except that Sex And The City have a noticiable caramel note, and here the vanilla note give the sweetness. Passport in Paris starts with a strong red berry note, mixed with mandarin. It’s a delicious fruity opening! Then, after a few minutes, the floral notes dominate, specially honeysuckle (my favorite flower). I think it’s a very nice combination, red berries with honeysuckle… amazing how good it smells. At last, we have a vanilla base, giving more sweetness to the fragrance! I just like it, not love. In the beggining, I feel it similar with Sex And the City, and at the middle I feel it similar with Viva La Juicy and Pink Friday (by Nicki Minaj). What I’m trying to saying is that Passport In Paris is a good fragrance, very feminine, teen, sweet, delicate, but nothing new. It’s easy to wear and safe to gave it as a gift, because it’s an easy fragrance to like. I had it, but I’ll not buy it again.

This has the same “base fragrance” (Idk what to call it) regardless of what I spray it on but it seems to smell better on my shirt than on my skin. Yet it’s not bad on my skin, just better on fabric.
I got it together with two other “passport” scents and I thought this one smelled a little like cigaretts or maybe tobacco, but now it’s just a little smokey. I have to say that fits really good to the design which is a little darker than the other ones.
Soft, strong, smokey, powdery, fruity, floral ect. it’s really a mix of many things But I associate the scent of red berries with lingonberry. It’s got a tiny bit of bitterness, same one which can be found in the taste (and maybe smell) that lingonberry has.
The general smell reminds me of a mix of a lot of nice, different perfumes on an after party a cold winter night. I’d say it’s a fragrance that fits cold weather.
Not the most suitable for someone young and innocent.
Ok lasting, doesn’t fade away quickly.
Compared to other perfumes that I think are ok, this one doesn’t stand out too much. It’s capable of giving me a headache if it’s not used in small doses. I think it works but for me, it doesn’t work well enough. I wouldn’t buy it again.

This is very simmilar to Alien, but sweeter and less smoky!

I’ve always liked Paris Hilton’s perfumes, and this one’s no exception. Fruity and sweet and just very lightly powdery. The opening is a burst of peachiness, which cools down to a vanilla cream with a light powder. Overall a very inoffensive fragrance. Great for summer.

Slightly resembles my beloved CanCan, only with a more gourmand opening and a white floral/ white musk drydown. Since I prefer a cloudy, powdery drydown I also prefer CanCan, but in all honesty they’re both charmers. 😀
Longevity is not especially good, unlike CanCan, but at least the price reflects this difference. Overall, an Eminently Cheerful and Wearable little number than could easily brighten a cloudy day.
A friend told me that for her Passport Paris puts Prada Candy to shame. I leave it to you to decide. 🙂 For me, this is one of the prettiest little gourmands at any price range!

Agree with hdmc_2000. And, it projects fairly well on me o_O (esp as an EDT). I had it on for 6hours and my frd can still smell me within around one feet distance n commented on my scent.
Btw, for those who hate the packaging, I find the sticker very easy to peel off 😀 so just be creative n stick on some other things that are better than a creepy anime girl XD

Im 42 years old and I think this smells wonderful! I have been a perfume junkie as far back as I can remember. No this is not just for “young” girls…Everyone has their own tastes, so age shouldnt be a deterrent for any fragrance. This is soft and lovely and dare I say good enough for any age.

  20. :

Sweet but nice. Not one note overpowers another. I read the reviews and bought for a song at Marshall’s. Peachy, powdery but balanced. Not bad at all. I like it, and can’t be beat for such a low price. The bottle is cheap looking and cartoony, so put something in front of it and just enjoy the spritz.

  21. :

I hate to say this… But I love this one!!! Lose the stupid packaging and name, this would easily become one of the most popular celeb scents. The opening reminded me of viva la juicy, with its slightly fluffy juicy scent. Then quickly the honeysuckle comes out and become the most prominent note to me till the end. This frag is very sweet and comforting <3 Its not much about sensual or sexy. But it’s a very happy and cozy scent. Arhhh it’s juz so sweet and makes me feel so happy. And it’s sooo cheap online so it’s ideal to be a scent you doze in before bed.
(as an EDT, the longevity is so good and would beat many EDP outthere. )

After reading reviews I was convinced to buy it especially for $5! Huge disappointment. It smells like $5. Cheap. Cheap smell and terrible advertising. I can see it being aimed at young girls but no thank you.

  23. :

I just absolutely adore the way Paris does patchouli.
I had previously bought her Dazzle as a blind buy and was infinitely impressed, making it one of my top 5 in the running for my signature scent. However, after I tried Passport Tokyo I was left underwhelmed. I couldn’t even use that one as a room spray without my young son complaining.
Enter my second venture into the Passport world with this gem. It blasts you with alcohol then quickly dries down to an almost candy-like red berry concoction with the most sublime and beautiful patch! I am normally repulsed by patch so I’m very grateful to Paris for not being heavy handed with the stuff.
I had to drown myself just to make it last more than an hour but a very light version of the beginning berries sticks around for awhile.
Peach and honeysuckle stay with me after the berries have faded and, for this gourmand lover, that’s just fine by me! 😉 Non-offensive and lovely, I would have no issues wearing this perfume pretty much anywhere.
Only wish it were a LOT stronger and more concentrated. How about a parfum line, Ms. Hilton?

Very nice. I blind buy every fragrance & this was pleasing. Light, sweet & flirty. A pretty spring/summer scent.

Paris Hilton makes really amazing perfumes. This is one of my favorites by her. It lasts extremely well for any fragrance, but especially for an EDT. It could just be my skin type, but it lasts most of the day (I don’t even own the lotion yet!) and I get compliments on it all the time! I can’t believe it’s so cheap with the quality being so good. If you can find it at TJMaxx or Marshalls, you can get a really great deal.

I have Paris, Tokyo and South Beach from a X-mas sale, like very much all tree, but Paris is favourite. Love the smell, absolutely beautiful and delicious fragrance. I tried Flora by Gucci and think they are not the same. And like and prefer Paris more 🙂

I’m surprised at all these positive reviews.
My nose is very sensitive, but this screams “look at me!” with its sweetness. No disrespect, but I’m 21, and this makes me think of immature teenagers acting like prissy adults as well as adults (very ungracefully) trying to relive their teens/20’s. Like I said, I don’t mean to offend anyone but this is just how this fragrance smells like on my skin. If this kind of fragrance is popular these days, I don’t want to be popular.

This perfume is one that I am rather embarrassed to admit to using, especially when I’m asked what perfume I’m wearing. That happens pretty frequently with this particular fragrance. I picked up a small bottle of it at TJ Maxx for $4.99, and I thought it was a good size to keep in my little makeup bag that I carry with me. The actual bottle is atrocious, though. Weird anime-looking pictures of Paris in Paris. I try not to take it out in public. It looks like the kind of thing you’d give a five-year-old who wants to use perfume because she sees you doing it. But it honestly smells so great. The first time I wore it, I had two friends stop me mid-conversation to ask me what I was wearing. I realize it isn’t the most fascinating of fragrances, but that’s OK sometimes. I wear this to work most days. It’s just bright and fresh and simple and sort of cozy, and doesn’t get on anyone’s nerves. And you don’t have to load yourself down either. I usually do one chest spray, and then one small spritz on each wrist. I’ll definitely be buying more.

    A nice one from Paris.
I only smell 3 notes in this one. In the opening it’s really nice, sweet & juicy red berries with sweet and creamy vanilla.
These 2 notes linger till the dry down, but then there’s also quite a bit of musk.
I would have liked it better if it stayed like the opening for longer and would have less musk in the dry down.
On my skin longevity is not too bad, 4 to 6 hours depending how much I spray on. Up to an hour it has a nice sillage even!
Similar in style to Dazzle. PP is red berries, vanilla and musk. Dazzle is cherries, vanilla and champagne.
    ♥♥♥♥

I like Paris’ fruity/sweet scents (I own Siren,Can Can and Dazzle),so when I saw this at TJMaxx for $4.99,I figured it was a safe blind buy.
Spritzed it 3 times before bed last night and at first,my nose was kind of confused. It thought I had sprayed Siren and Dazzle at the same time! I got a sweet peachy vanilla scent with the spicier musky base of Dazzle, slightly boozy and cough syrupy.
This morning I can still smell it on my pajamas and it is quite yummy…I think it’s a more fall/winter friendly version of Siren, which I love.
It kind of reminds me of Rihanna Nude,a bit fruitier and less spicy, but similar kind of feel.
Great purchase, and another score for Ms. Hilton!

I got this very cheap at the annual sale. I would say I’m quite surprised that Paris Hilton could come out with such a fine fragrance like this one. Of course, it’s not the best fragrance out there but it is very worth the money. So far, I’m rating this 8 out of 10.

  32. :

Got myself a 30ml bottle on Amazon to try, I’m actually rather impressed. I love the smell from the initial spray, super sweet, gourmand goodness (I’m very into gourmand scents!) It reminds me of Viktor and Rolf BonBon which is in my ‘wish list’. The drydown is less sweet more amber, but in a soft way, I can’t put my finger on what the drydown smells like but it’s quite strange, maybe it will grow on me. Overall I give this scent 8/10 for that lovely syrupy, sweet start, just wish it stayed like that throughout.
Update: having tried this a few times now I’ve decided that it doesn’t work for me, I can’t get onboard with that weird drydown. I’ve listed on eBay.

A little sweet but most modern perfumes are but in a nice way. I halfway wondered if this was marketed toward kids/teens with the anime designed bottle and it is one that I will allow my 7yo to wear when she asks for perfume since its lightness is perfect on young girls. Not just young girls but women of just about any age could pull this one off.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

I was a bit sceptic about this perfume since I don’t like Paris Hilton. I think I even dislike her, but I found this for 5 euros, so in the worst case scenario I would just give it to my friend. But then, it was a total surpise. A really nice sweet and cozy perfume. Peaches, vanilla and berries blend so nice and in the drydown you can even smell the white florals. Of course, if you don’t like sweat perfumes don’t try this one. But, it is not overly sweet. It has the right amount on it. I will buy a bigger bottle. I sprayed it while I was wearing my pyjamas and then for the next days (until I washed them) I could still smell it! I am totally satisfied. As for the silage and longevity, I was surprised on these sections as well. And at warm weather it lasts even long.

I was very surprised by this perfume. I wish I had bought this sooner. At first I thought it was kinda kiddyish by the packaging but I love the smell. This is my first Paris Hilton perfume that I owb. I’m very surprised by her products not being a fan of hers at all.
I love the soft fruity mix with the vanilla. Not too strong or cloying but long lasting an beautiful. I think this is a perfume I will always have to keep in my purse. Its good for all ages. Older women too.

this perfume is so good. it reminds me SO MUCH of Alien, which i love hard, however it’s sweeter than Alien and i think a bit easier on the senses. when i first sprayed it on myself i wasn’t blown away because it starts off very sweet like britney spears Fantasy but i was amazed after a few minutes of wear because all the beautiful sexy jasmine comes out and you feel fine as hell AND comfortable and not over done. to me, the jasmine and the patchouli are the main notes, which is amazing for someone like me who likes intense scents like that.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

Haha I actually have to agree with ohrite below me. To my nose this fragrance is very strange, really synthetic and I am not entirely sure what I am smelling except for fruit and sugar. It’s maybe even a little bit sour to me. I assume it just doesn’t match my chemistry or my nose. Lucky for those that can love this, but I have to stick with her many other scents that I love.
Edit: Alright, alright, I have to change my comments because I have actually grown a liking to this one which is good since I have a 100ml bottle. It’s a very sweet fruity scent that works great in the heat. Maybe I just needed the warmth for this to work on me.

I’m somehow wondering if I really got the same frag that almost everyone else here is raving about… to me this smelled so incredibly weird I almost couldn’t bring myself to test it on my skin. I did though, but it didn’t matter. I can’t detect any specific notes at all, no vanilla, nothing. just weirdness with a hint of sweet.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

This layers amazingly well with Elizabeth Taylor’s Diamonds & Emeralds. The end result is a yummy sparkling floral with lots of peach & vanilla (smells like a creamy peach champagne…mmmmm). I received way more compliments on that combo than any of those two perfumes worn alone. I imagine it would layer well with other white florals as well (such as Madonna Truth or Dare, Fracas, or Kim by Kim Kardashian).

Don’t get turn off just because it’s from Paris Hilton. Passport in Paris is one of the best sweet/fruity perfumes I’ve ever had. It’s sweet, but in a really exciting way. Berries and peach make it juicy and vanilly adds a little bit of powderness. Lasting power is moderate, about 5 hours on me. Oh, and did I mention the price, well it’s not gonna hurt your wallet cause it’s really cheap. So if you’re looking for a cheap compensation for one of your favourite juicy, sweet perfumes you should get Passport in Paris. People are always shocked when they ask me what perfume I’m wearing and they find out that it’s one from Paris.

I just got this perfume today and as a fan of sweet perfumes I can say I totally like it! Unfortunately I can’t smell it too much because my nose started hurt.. like this smell stings my nostrils…
Anyways, I like how it smells on me. Its not very strong and it can’t be felt from distance, but that doesn’t bother me.
Altough it’s not a very unique scent, it’s lovely, it’s young, it’s fun. I personally love the package :). I will take it with me in my trips.

I adore this fruity, syrupy sweet perfume. It’s sooo good. Vanilla peachy dark red berries… so yummy. And dirt cheap if you look around on Amazon and ebay.
Lasts a long time on me! Love Paris’s sweet perfumes!
If you like Can Can, you’ll love this. Very similar but Passport Paris doesn’t have the powdery notes. PParis is more fruity/sweet.

I got a huge blast of alcohol from this 1. The sillage is terrible and very faint. All I smell is vanilla and red berries. I have been disappointed by her perfumes before and this one falls in line with the rest. This to me is more like a body splash. I will not be purchasing anything from this line. I will probably be giving this away.
UPDATE: I gave this to my bestie yesterday. It smelled AMAZING on her!!! Sad that it did not have the same effect on me. But, on her, I can see why people like it so much!

This is a very good perfume…& proof that price means nothing when it comes to quality. I often chose this to wear over the high end designer fragrances in ny collection.
I mainly detect peach, vanilla, red berries, honeysuckle, musk, and soft florals. It has a Southern Belle vibe to it. 🙂
This is my favorite in the passport collection…and my favorite Paris Hilton perfume overall.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

It’s quite nice though I cannot detect the resemblance to Gucci Gardenia – this one is much sweeter in my opinion. To me this perfume is sweet sweet sweet. I cannot detect any notes in particular but that doesn’t really bother me because after a while its just sweet flowers with a touch of berries 🙂 This particular sweetness is also ok for spring days or summer nights. Give it a try, it’s very affordable and nice for carrying around in your purse. Paris has a nice collection of scents – the first one being one of my favourites.
Edit: Have to change my mind! Although Gucci’s GG starts out more floral and fresh, the dry down is very similar to Passport Paris. The latter being more intense.

  48. :

I’ve had this perfume for some time now. I was sort of on the fence about this one. Tonight I wanted something to put on before bed, and I chose this. It’s actually nicer than I remembered. It smells almost exactly like Katy Perry’s Meow. The listed notes say it has patchouli, and if I try really hard I can smell perhaps a slight touch of it, but barely. I hate patchouli, so I’m glad it’s toned way, way down. To me this just smells super sweet, and mostly like vanilla with a slight hint of berries. I’m glad I gave it another try. I’m way past the targeted age at 46, but I don’t care. While some may not like the cartoonish bottle, I find it cute. This one is so good, I may have to try the others in this line.

Am I the only one that thinks this smells like a blander and weaker version of Midnight Fantasy? I tried them next to each other and the latter made Passport smell flat. But similar juicy, juicy popsicle style smell with a light vanilla after a while?

This perfume smells sooooooo gooood!!!! it has a bit of everything (in a good way)! its very juicy, honey-y, syrupy, heavy, sweet, but at the same time it has a freshness to it. gaaaah! i love it! its perfect! definitely one of my favorite scents ever!
oh and it lasts a very long time and has great projection!

I can not get enough of this scent! Never would I expect that this perfume would smell so good and last long too! It’s an amazing scent, combination of sweet sugary and fruity notes. On my skin it smells more sugary and sweet but I love it! Totally in love with this perfume, it’s inexpensive, yummy and long lasting, which is why I went back to get more. If you get it on amazon it’s about 12 dollars for 3.4 oz and that’s an awesome deal if you ask me. You’ll be getting an inexpensive fragrance that smells delicious and lasts all day.

WOW! I’m sincerely shocked at how this fragrance has received such mixed reviews. After “Paris Hilton Man,” this is my second favorite Paris Hilton fragrance out of all of them! (And I have smelled every single one of them.)
On me…this fragrance is DEFF fruity and sweet fragrance, but its one of those fragrance for me where you cannot really “pick out” specific notes and smell them distinctively. Its one of those perfumes where it all just blends together to make up the smell that it becomes after spraying it. And yes this fragrance is categorized as sweet, but trust me guys..it isn’t OVERLY sweet like Lady Gaga’s perfume. It doesn’t smell like a bowl of sugar and fruit. It is very well balanced and there is just a TAD of a muskiness to it that grounds it from being too sweet. Perfect!
However, I love it! And I always get compliments on this when I wear it! Another great thing about this fragrance is, I wear it to the gym and its one of my VERY few fragrances where sweating when I work out, doesn’t change the smell of it at all! AWESOME! Most colognes and perfumes, when I sweat, it changes the fragrance completely into some sort of urine type smell. But this fragrance just keeps on keeping on, nice and strong no matter how much I sweat.
Longevity – HUGE ON ME! I buy this on amazon for $12 and it lasts 6-7 hours on me!
Sillage – Amazing as well for the price! About 3 feet.
Overall I love the fragrance. The bottle isn’t anything groundbreaking, but who cares when the fragrance rocks!
    Overall rating : 9/10
    BUY THIS GUYS!!

This scent smells clean. However, I really dont get many fruit notes from it. It reminds me of laundry soap. I was complimented while wearing it, but I don’t feel Im too fond of it. I have a love/hate relationship with Amber and resins.

After using this for a while I have to say: what a delusion.
Initially it has a nice fruity opening with peach topping the fruit bouquet but once this first phase disappear (after 10 minutes) the fragrance gets into the middle notes with an undefined synthetic green smell that I can’t classify. I don’t know what it is, maybe is the honeysuckle or peony but I don’t like it at all.
Also, this perfume can’t properly reach the base notes as it is almost gone by the time it should unveil them. Only note I get from the base notes is a cheap synthetic musk which overwhelms the others.

One word to describe this scent… Sweet!!! According to my nose, first thing I smelled when I sprayed this was the fruity notes and a heavy minty zing!… Deffinitely the mandarin, peaches and patchouli.
If you are not into citrus notes, please don’t get it, cause it will smell really bad for you. My sister hates this! Haha! I annoy her whenever I have this fragrance on. Lol
Leave it on for a few minutes and the vanilla starts to appear and mixes in with the sweetness of the fruits and heaviness of the amber, giving u a very nice candy minty scent. On me anyways…
I guess my body chemistry does not go well with citruss notes…
I bought this blindly, but I still like to wear it once in a while, however one spray is enough for me cause I would get a huge headache if I sprayed more than once. The minty zing is too much for me!

This perfume is just incredible!!! I can’t even put my finger on it. It’s like this amazing amber mixed with candy, dark vanilla, jasmine, and some mysteriously delicious note that reminds me of sexy black lace! I can almost detect a hint of caramel in it, so yummy!!! It is highly intoxicating, pleasant, addictive, potent and it is definitely in my hall of fame. Potency is amazing. It is truly a sensation for the senses!!! I honestly can’t think of anyone who would not love this. If you are buying on a blind buy, prepare to be intoxicated!!!! A+++++++
P.S. I just realised what this smells like, the Original Cacharel Amor Amor (before they changed the notes) which is hard to find and is one of my all-time favourites!!! (Yay!) And now I see that they share a few common notes including Sambac Jasmine, Mandarin and Vanilla. Makes sense! (Though I don’t detect any citrus in this or the original version of Amor Amor) This is the reincarnation of my beloved, discontinued version of Amor Amor, which was perfection in a bottle. Definitely try this!!! 🙂

I chanced getting a bottle of Passport Paris as a blind internet buy based on the mainly good reviews of it on here and despite the fact that the other two Paris Hilton perfumes I got as a blind buy and blind swap I REALLY dislike.
My first encounter with a Paris Hilton perfume was the original one in the horrible bottle with the purple squiggles on it. All I could smell was MELONS, MELONS and yet more MELONS, which is one note I really dislike and fail to get the appeal of in a perfume! My second encounter was a blind swap of a bottle of CanCan. Again, BIG disappointment … it’s sickly sweet and makes me feel queasy … yuck ! !
However, as I’m not averse to taking chances (helped by the fact that I could get a tester bottle super cheap on the internet!) I braved getting Passport Paris and hooray .. I actually like this one! The bottle may be hideous and reminiscent of something a little girl might have and think is very cute, the perfume itself is surprisingly appealing. It’s fruity but not in a syrupy, sticky or fruit juice kind of way – it’s creamy and soft, thanks to the vanilla, musk and amber which also give it good sillage and surprising lasting power on my skin. It lingers and lingers for hours, all day and night, and smells so good. Surprisingly, it’s also quite clean smelling to me which is a bonus because I love clean types of scents as well as fruity’ish ones. As a result, it’s becoming one of my go to perfumes, which I wasn’t necessarily expecting! So, as much as I think Paris Hilton is an attention seeking, egotistical, shallow and massively annoying human being I have to hand it to her … some of her perfumes really suck but this one ain’t half bad ! !

The youthful cartoony packaging appealed to me, and quickly I made good use of an on-line bargain. The first few days I had a huge crush on this perfume, and kept it by my work computer to sniff, or to spray myself with from time to time. I smelled vanilla, syrupy peach, rich caramel, the requisite thick musk of modern perfumes marketed to a younger crowd. I didn’t crave sweets nor pastries. Passport in Paris made me feel stuffed to the eyebrows.
And then, just like that, my crush was over. It was simply too sweet, too syrupy, too much of everything for me. Luckily, my pre-teen niece has stepped in to take the still-full 30ml off my hands.
