This fragrance is super interesting, like nothing I have ever encountered. I swear that it’s all botanical musk that I smell because it’s vegetal, musky, and has an animalic-ness to it that I can’t quite put my finger on. I really can not dissect it. At first when it goes on it seems sharp in a way that I also can not explain. Not like citrus nor galbanum…but as it remains on my skin, it becomes softer somehow and becomes very therapeutic/relaxing. I guess that’s how musk makes us feel–like second skin, soothing, cozy. But this is all-natural!
I’d recommend sampling before purchasing, because it’s a unique scent and possibly an acquired taste, but I really, truly love it and will wear it a lot. Sillage is gentle, and it lasts for several hours.
