I met the fragrances of this House when I created a partnership through my Brazilian website of perfume reviews. And it was a real adventure unravel all of them, without having access to the official notes, even having direct contact with the owner of the company. And the result was wonderful because he loved reading my reviews and complimented me on most of them. Therefore, I will copy the translated reviews below, as they were written and published at the time.
Manufactured since 1982, Camaris is a citrus-Woody that I dare to classify as fougère-citrus-Woody. As the brand says: traditional, modern, manly. That is it!
This fragrance brings together the typical aroma of successful perfumes of the 80’s, allied to trends that never go out of fashion in the world of perfumery, and enriched with the virility that every good self-respecting fougère is capable. The output (which changes quickly) is delicious and fruity-citrus with notes that sound to me as bergamot, Mandarin orange and some other plant that I don’t identify very well, maybe basil, Sage, etc. The heart conveys the presence of lavender, geranium and perhaps a bit of patchouli and, finally, a base rich in oakmoss and amber.
As I have tried to do in my reviews of this brand, if I were to get an olfactory reference for this perfume, it would be the Styletto, by O Boticário, eternal classic of Brazilian perfumery. To conclude, it has very good lasting and projection, beyond the naturalness employed in their products.
