Description

Burberry presents their new fragrance Burberry Body that arrives on the market on September 1st 2011 in over 150 countries worldwide. “Burberry Body is the most exciting launch that we have ever created and captures the iconic spirit of the brand today in a striking and sensual way.” – says Christopher Bailey, creative director of the brand.

Launching the new perfume Burberry Body is accompanied by attractive advertising commercial with photos of naked actress and model Rosie Huntington-Whitely, star of Transformers 3 – Dark of The Moon, wrapped in popular raincoat by Burberry. 24 year old Rosie, one of Victoria’s Secret angels in cooperation with photographer Mario Testino, managed to accentuate woman’s body and highlight the curves discretely in the provocative advertising campaign.

“It’s a huge honour to be working with Burberry again,” said Rosie speaking about her cooperation with Burberry.
“[It’s] a brand that put my career on the map and helped launch me. To be asked to be the first Burberry Body is an amazing compliment.”

Body Burberry is a luxury chypre – fruity composition that begins with notes of fresh green absinthe, peach and freesia. Roses and iris are in the heart, leaning on the base of sandalwood, cashmerean, musk, amber and vanilla.

Available as EDP.
The nose behind this fragrance is Michel Almairac.

I was really kind of loving this… Until the dry down. On me, it became very intensly musky in the dry down. Think 1970s hippies. It was just too much for me. What a shame!! I absolutely loved it the first couple hours.

Not my favourite. I bought this blindly because of the offer at one of perfume shop in Malaysia. The smell is too strong and overpowered.
I don’t really like strong fragrance.
But, this perfume suitable for dinner and night activities.
    Still, it could be better.
I give 3 star for this one.

This was a total flop for me. It was a blind buy in a gift set so luckily not a total loss as the other scents were winners.
Immediately upon opening the bottle (a dabber) I knew this would be a bad scent for me. The rose is very strong. I have other perfumes with rose in the top notes, so it can’t be the rose in this that gives me an immediate head ache and nausea. I think it is the worm wood although I am quite the scent novice and can’t be sure. I gave this about thirty minutes in hopes of getting the musky dry down I usually adore but I couldn’t handle it. I scrubbed it off and it still lingered for several nauseating hours.
This also reminded me of whatever inexpensive perfume my elderly grandmother used to over-apply and suffocate us with. Must be the harsh roses.

I’m not not sure what possessed me to buy this fragrance because i am not a fan of rose being a top note, but I’m so glad i did. This fragrance is the epitome of what a sophisticated woman is suppose to smell like without smelling bold or mature. It suites women of any age but only goes perfectly with a women who carries themselves with class.
The peach, cashmere, and musk are the main notes i smell in this fragrance. I get a hint of rose but not too much. This fragrance pretty much smells the same from the opening to the dry down.
The performance on this is OUTSTANDING!!I wore this fragrance out with some friends and they were constantly complimenting me on how amazing it smelled. One of them even texted me the next morning telling me how they could still smell it on them lol.
This fragrance is worth the money or at least worth sampling. Burberry created a masterpiece.

I love simple design of the bottle..
No chypre but rose peach powdery and it’s feel like after bath.
Soft Fresh.Good silage and moderate long lasting

This perfume has probably the most mixed reviews on earth…so I held off on buying it for the longest time. Last night i took the plunge.
OMGGGGG my eyes rolled to the back of my head as i started squirming in ecstasy…like this demon inside of me screaming to get out…this perfume is SO SEXY…wow….there are things I wanna…but let’s not get too specific. 😉
How on earth can something like this be so mixed bag? I dunno, i don’t care, this is sexy body dripping with vintage beauty and wet roses…ahhhhhh instantly my top 5 =]

It’s not that I hate this or even dislike it. Quite a few reviewers have said it makes them feel ill or cough. I had that reaction the second time I wore this. First time I enjoyed it and thought it was pretty, a fruity slightly powdery rose…but the second time I kept getting nausea and a headache and something too sweet didn’t sit well with me. Maybe it’s a chemistry thing. But it is a nice enough scent just not one I can tolerate apparently.

Wow I am taken back how powerful this one is and how much lasting power and silage it has. Kudos to Burberry for this as many perfumes lack this ability. The scent itself is pretty. I definitely get a lite rose and musk. It’s pretty for sure but even after washing it off I can smell it on my arm. There is just something in here that tickles the back of my throat. I think I need to be in the mood to wear this one. It will get you noticed so go with a light hand. Also quite linear from start to finish however this is not a bad thing. The perfume is reliable.

    I’m reviewing Body again.
It’s a rosey peachy light pretty fragrance.
Definitely for the younger ladies out there.
I aliken it to a much younger mild sister of Lancôme’s Tresor.

    cashmere wood, vanilla and freesia.
And a fruity note that must be the peach.
An everyday one and simple and clean.
I think fressia makes me feel nausea…
I like the EDT better than this.
I think is a lit underatted but a good one!!

    Second thoughts…
Giving this away to a friend…I want the EDT…
Still, is a good perfume but nauseous on me.

    This was a gift.
I avoid sweet, fruity, floral perfumes…they just don’t sit well on my skin & they make me feel nauseous 🙁
The packaging & bottle are beautiful though.

This is one of the best perfumes ever made. I am in love with it since it first came out. Feminine and sooooo sensual

  13. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t understand the hate against this perfume. Really opulent, luscious, warm peach. I imagine this as a very voluptuous, tanned woman, who is also natural and motherly at the same time. Not a bubblegum sweet scent, but comforting, enveloping and sensual. I don’t get much rose at all. Mainly peach and musk/cashmere, with decent projection and excellent longevity.

  14. :

    5 out of 5

The rose, peach, and musk sounded like a winner. But on me, nothing happened. It just sat there like a super-sheer Estee Lauder Sensuous.

  15. :

After about an hour on my skin, I smell peach and sugared rose in the forefront, with the slightest boozy whiff of a Sazerac, then fresh air and clean woody notes underneath. All taken in at once, this scent reminds me of the smell of my skin as the shower water first hits it after I have been outside all day in warm weather and swimming in the lake (without being corrupted by sunscreen or bug dope, of course). I really like the way this smells on me and I feel very confident and comfortable wearing it.

  16. :

    4 out of 5

I disagree that rose is the main theme, it is NOT a ROSE scent at all.
Body is the scent of a naked skin, something like combined “out-of-the-shower” with fresh lingerie. I would not call it clean though…rather a BEIGE SCENT, the scent of the skin color (Body is a great name btw). On my skin I get mostly a peach-cashmere Wood blend with a musk undertone, there is some freesia/vanilla in the background but not detectable separately.
As many suggested, great for daytime, not for a night out and neither for a date. A mommy-and-me scent 🙂
If you see a bargain, just get it!

  17. :

On my skin the flower scent was too proeminent. Returned it.

  18. :

I agree this is elegant, feminine, polite. A bit soapy. Not a “going out” fragrance but is office safe. Clean but not boring, will still make an impression.
On my skin: rose and peach are first introduced. Actually makes my mouth water. Its both musky and woody but the musk stands out more. I dont think I can detect vanilla and amber individually, but they back up the rest of the notes in that pleasant sweet way, thats what makes the whole scent quite delicious.

  19. :

    4 out of 5

Very pleasant musk, medium sillage, and longevity. Sexy, simple, classy, casual.

  20. :

    4 out of 5

Feeling nostalgic for peach, but don’t wish to scream of Eighties powerhouse fragrance? This one is worth a go, but test first because I found it’s longevity and sillage less than other reviewers have noted.
I am unfamiliar with the wormwood note; I see it rating highly with other users, so I’m assuming that’s the unique unfamiliar note that I’m experiencing here. My trial of Burberry Body I get only just those two – peach+wormwood.
I was hoping for more presence from amber, iris, vanilla and freesia, but they are too much in the background for me to detect.

  21. :

I’ve applied Burberry Body over several days at different times – trying to get a different result or mood from it. I’m officially giving up as it makes me kind of queasy. It’s a shame as I’d expected to like it. On my skin it’s barely there. Though rarely favourites, I find Burberry perfumes to be some of the most safe and inoffensive for my tastes. They are usually pleasant and good value. This one is very underwhelming. It’s also disconcerting because it smells a bit too much like musty, mildly lotioned skin. So it kind feels a bit like I’ve sprayed someone else’s skin scent on me (quite gross if I over think it). I feel I’d get a better, fresher and more fragrant result with a bar of nice soap or body wash.

I like using this fragrance during daytime. It smells clean, formal and goes well with my skin chemistry. But I would not use it to a party or date. I don´t find it sensual as the commercial with Rosie H. W. paints it.

This perfume reminds me of my Burberry dey both smell same just lil bit of differnce although i liked my burberry more den body ! This perfume in the beginning is sharp nd den it gets settled down leaving the powdery smell wich i dont like ! I would recommend my burberry instead ! I have the big bottle nd i dont wnt it to go waste so i use it somewhere if m going for 2-3 hours ! Orelse a BIG NO !

    Pleasant? Yes.
First words that comes to mind with this? Clean. Very woody.
What would I rate it from 1-10? An 8.
Projection – Somewhere between moderate and heavy. It definitely throws farther than arm length…but not quite 6 feet. I would say 4-5 feet depending on how many sprays.
I just received this in the mail over the weekend (Feb 2018) and today is Monday so I wore it to work. I walked into work…in the first 30 minutes of my work day I got two compliments saying that this one smelled “SO good.” One from my co worker who sits right next to me…and one from the morning’s first patient.
This perfume DOES NOT SMELL LIKE Donna Karan Liquid Cashmere…but they STRONGLY remind me of eachother if you know what I mean. I’m actually surprised no one has mentioned this. They’re very much so in the same vein if you know what I mean. Like…not twins…but definite sisters and they would be used in the same situations/moods.
This fragrance is like a clean, second skin scent. It’s warm, powdery, woodsy, and rosey. I like it a lot. It’s definitely for a “grown up” and someone with confidence. I can’t really imagine a timid girl in high school wearing this. And just because this scent is in the “clean” category…do not mistake it for shy. This one will get you NOTICED. It’s not weak…it is not shy. It makes it’s presence known.
Burberry is very good at making “clean” scents that aren’t boring. Because boring is an easy way to end up when making a clean fragrance. Burberry Sport (women’s version) is another. It’s such a clean, perfect gym fragrance…but it’s so unique and really makes you stand out. And now this one. I’m really enjoying Burberry’s respectable, diverse fragrance portfolio so far. Two thumbs up on this one. I like it a lot. It’s teetering on the line of like/love for me rapidly approaching love territory.

Well I don’t think anyone can really dislike this one. It’s super safe, pleasant, clean. Clean is really the word. To me it really smells like “getting out of the shower” fresh. Classy, simple, clean, fresh, feminine…but not groundbreaking. Not special. Good projection so far without being too much or annoying, just right.
Can be work any day in any occasion, probably best fit for early morning after shower before going to work.

I love this perfume. It is elegant but sits close to my skin. On me, it is initially sweet red roses and some greenery. It melds into my skin quickly. It is my absolute work perfume. It is not too strong, smelling more like a clean body than perfume. It also lasts for most of the day. It works in winter and in the summer.

I believe this perfume you have to be in the mood for! i remember seeing this perfume all the time on my grandma’s vanity, and my sister used to use it all the time, so this perfume gives me a load of great memories, so i decided to buy it!!
when i bought it, i didn’t use it immediately, and the first time i tried it goes back to our sacrifice feast “Eid al-Adha” and i had to rush, because my whole family were waiting me in the car, and after i reached my uncle’s house, it took me a while to smell the perfume crystal clear, and when i got every ingredient i smelt the peaches, & i HATE peaches!!!!!
I cant handle the peach note!, i just wanted to go back home and take a shower.
    .
    .
This fragrance is a really pleasant fragrance that i adore to smell around me, but i found myself avoiding to use it on me, so i gave it to my sister!
I consider it a mature scent, so elegant, so cosy, perfect for the winter time, unless that you can easily find it sickly sweet in the hot weather!

Unfortunately, this one went ransid so quickly! Had it for under two years and had been well taking care of ( out of light, stored in a cool place). Not sure what’s going on, no more top notes and replaced by alcohols 🙁
30ml bottle is super cute! Love the bottle design!

  29. :

Once the scent settles into the skin, it smells EXACTLY as the “main notes according to votes” suggest. It’s a little different from what I typically gravitate towards, but I like this quite a bit. I’d rate scent 7/10 and performance also 7/10.
I wouldn’t describe this scent as young, flirty, or sexy.
I imagine it on my mother. A beautiful, graceful woman, with an inviting demeanor. Definitely not a “first date” scent.

  30. :

Complete 180 on this scent for me.
The first time I sprayed it on myself I liked it a lot, found it all around likable.
But luckily I tested again and the second time gave me a bad headache and was too cloying. I think sandalwood musk- rose combo is too heavy for me. Meh…you can’t win them all.

  31. :

The ad alone makes me want to try this badly. Makes me think this is supposed to be a sexy scent. Maybe I think that because of the naked woman in a trench coat thing, ahem. Just the peach that has me leery a little bit..

  32. :

This one challenges me with its green, and something that I cannot name, opening. My husband has fond me sniffing the bottle as I try to decide if I will chance wearing it. Some days the quick sniff is all I need till I begin to long for it and add it into may weekly perfume rotation. If I wear this on the weekend I go quite heavy with it. Reapplying it several times a day and enjoying it. I will repurchase this as it is one of my new favorites.

  33. :

The initial fragrance isn’t what I expected of a name like Burberry Body. I get fruity peach, just a little juicy, not too sweet, with a fresh and a little green opening. I’m not familiar with wormwood or freesia, so I don’t know which is contributing what.
The sillage is moderate. After a few minutes, I forget about the fragrance, but then I keep getting wafts of a scent different from that initial burst. I wonder what I’m smelling — it is no longer fruity or green at all — then I realize the fragrance has become truer to its name. It is now creamy and powdery, a little musky. Just a hint of vanilla sweetness makes it a delectable “skin scent” — not because it sits too close to the skin, but rather, it’s how I imagine skin would smell as a perfume.
A few hours later and I still get little creamy sweet whiffs. It somehow smells natural and clean, unobtrusive. Ideal for casual wear or lazy days, for staying in and cuddling. In the first hour, I thought that, while pleasant, Burberry Body is not a scent for me. But the dry down is so cozy and lovely, I’d love to wear it and wear it. Maybe it is for my body too, after all.

The peach and amber work really well together, I’d say this is a versatile fragrance that would work in many situations but probably better in cold weather

  36. :

This is a soft creamy woody fragrance with noticeable peach and rose undertones. I like the initial spray, the drydown after 30 minutes or so is off putting however, sort of plastic and boozy smelling. It does have quite good projection and is not a skin scent in my opinion. I do like it but the drydown puts me off purchasing this. There are many better burberry fragrances out there. This isn’t a love for me, just a like. On the plus side this is more affordable than many other burberry fragrances.

I tried a sample of Eau de parfum…. Generic, blah, boring. I am not saying that this is offensive. I am saying that this is boring and definitely not me. I’m glad that I tried it but that will be all I ever do with this generic scent. The scent doesn’t last and what a waste of time.

i don’t really know if i like this or not. i have trouble to decide. i had the Intense version in a beautiful box and luxuriuos velvet pouch, but i had to swap it. wormwood and rose both were too much for me. i thought then never again but it has gone two years and i decide i will give the regular version a try. what can i say, they seem to be very similar, intense and the edp, as from what i remeber, but i am not expert.i still think the same, wormwood and rose are very clearly represent here as well. i usually dont like roses in my fragrances, i love roses only as flowers and it makes me feel silly to wear a scent of obviuos rose. but here i smell rose only in the opening and it dissapears quite fast, so that may still work for me. (btw dont find it similar to Chloe in any way and i dont understand the comparisson as well, those are very different to my nose!)
however, wormwood is a star in this perfume and i definitely see why there are so many mixed reviews about this scent. wormwood smells bitter and the note is so prominent, i see why it may not work for everyone. wormwood is the note that makes this perfume interesting as well, i think. otherwise it is a nice musky scent, as the name implies, not load, but rather subtle and skin-scent like. i usually love scents like this, and the color is very “right” for me. i wouldnt characterise this perfume as easy to wear or cozy. not a snuggly scent to wear at home by any means, but rather a perfume for an office or business meetings, it has something aloof and keeping distance about it. this is also a bit challenging to me, but also interesting at the same time. i will have to give it more time to see how i like it and how often i am able to wear it, and how often i reach for it. while i like it in general and i think it is interesting and elegant, i will most likely to conclude that it is not “me” anyway, but i will give it time and see.

Woodys, soft, bland & boring. Its nice. It shouldnt offend anyone but its just blah & boring. It also has zero lasting power and no sillage. The first Burberry perfume that I had to click dislike on. The dislike is for performance, not for the scent.

@corkscrewcurly Dear, everyone can wear what they want, I didn’t say British can’t wear that. But perfume essence is NOT British. I live in UK long enough to know people. I am not talking about posh minority, but general view of people in the streets. They are extravagant, playful or casual but NOT elegant even in the slightest. Speaking of artists, look at the Camden Town. I don’t know how it can be even discussion. Trench coats and plaited scarfs is the outdated granny past. Only sweet fruity or bakery perfumes like Brit, The Beat and Weekend is something more close to that image and even smells better in humid or rainy weather. This perfume is simply nice try to target Chloe EDP or Gucci Premiere audience.

“The only elegant perfume from Burberry. For some reason it doesn’t match British lifestyle or image”
Really? Are you such an expert in the British lifestyle and image which makes you suggest that an “elegant” perfume wouldn’t suit a Brit?
What an extraordinary claim! I can list any number of British artists (be they fashion designers, perfumers, musicians, composers etc) who have had a massive impact on both the domestic and international stage – many of whom are the very epitome of “elegance”.

  44. :

The only elegant perfume from Burberry. For some reason it doesn’t match British lifestyle or image, I could see this as Gucci perfume. Lipstick rose and woods, two notes that I feel. Appropriate for winter only.

Burberry Body really shines on my skin in Fall. It was a bit too heavy when I first tested it in the Summer, but I’m glad I bought it and saved it for now. I agree with the person who wrote that Body is inoffensive yet sexy!
First blast that lasts around 15 mins. is sweet and cozy. Sweet in a ripe way, not sharp or heavy/pungent. I can see why it’s called Body, because at least on me, it quickly becomes a skin close fragrance. The peach is soft and not synthetic smelling on me. Peach is a hit or miss note in my experience and it’s always on either extreme end of classy soft or cheap synthetic.
Body is not bitter or sharp on me. This could be addictive. My memory might be playing with me, but I also agree that something about it reminds me of Lancome Tresor the way I remember Tresor when it first came out and I was too young and broke to buy it, which is still the best peach note I’ve ever smelt…maybe until now.:)
Sometime after the first 20 mins. I notice a warm sweet-spicy note but that fades away to a generally, warm, clean, cozy scent. I can’t stop sniffing my wrists.
Chypre seems to have begun to work for me in my 40s and chypre fruity is a new category I want to explore more. I hope future finds in this category don’t let me down.
I think what I notice as clean and warm is the musk which is a note that works well with my skin. The sweet/spicy note is probably the iris which smells the way I remember it from Lancome Hypnose. I can’t remember if I’ve had other fragrances with that note in it, but I like it. It could also be the interplay between the iris and vanilla which I adore.
This could definitely be a repurchase and since I read a review that says that EL Sensuous Nude might be discontinued and I haven’t had a chance to try it though I really want to, it makes me happy and hopeful that I have something that might be similar.
I regret that I only bought a 30ml bottle. I intend to use this as a casual day scent, but I can also see me using this for some informal occassions.

I blind bought this, and yet again, Burberry has surpassed my expectations. Beautiful, elegant scent. Not too light, not too heavy. Moderate sprays lasted 8 hours on me. If I described it as dried rose, that would be accurate, but so would warm and woody, and also so does a floral woody musk. Just a wonderful scent.

This one is interesting. I can barely smell it yet can’t do without it. I can detect some green freshness in the opening followed by hand-creamy notes, but it is mostly just my skin, only better -A LOT better. This is such a textbook skin scent that there’s not much going on to detect. In fact, the advertising and packaging capture Body’s essence perfectly well. It’s meant to accentuate your own body odor in a luxurious way, but there’s no sugar or flowers in here. I have to spray too much in order to smell it. It sits very close to skin & I’ll sniff my wrist nonstop and be in this eternal tender feminine bliss for an hour or so before it fleets although it does linger on my clothes for days. People easily notice it on me, sadly not me though. But I end up going for it more often than any other fragrance cuz it’s so versatile and feels “natural” to me, kinda like going for the “no make up” look or a pair of nude flats.
Update: I heard one of Jeremy’s friends describe it as a “teacher” perfume, and I see where he’s coming from. This scent is office friendly, innocent, non-offensive and clean -as in Dove body wash clean. So maybe the marketing did not “capture its essence very well” after all, but it IS a great fragrance and worth every penny for me 🙂

Juliana6’s review mirrors my own experience with this fragrance. It has taken me 5 years to make a complete 360. And all because of a client that walked into the store smelling of this fragrance. It was a hot muggy August day, the air conditioning was not functioning properly and it was affecting my mood at work. Then a client walked past me and she left this enchanting, fresh, crisp feminine scent. It was like an instant mood lift for me. It brought a ‘clearing’ quality to the disagreeable odours. And of course I had to ask her….Burberry Body! Purchased biggest bottle following day! Forever a staple in my collection. Truly an underrated gem!

Burberry Body is one of the longest lasting perfumes I own, too bad it’s not one of my favorites.
The opening is quite sharp with the rose, peach, and wormwood. Then, I fantasize that this perfume is going to develop into a clean, warm, rose, dove deep moisture body wash, better than your skin scent. But on me the bitter wormwood dominates and just won’t let go! I have worn it in both summer and winter and regardless of the weather it just doesn’t work on my skin. Too bad, so sad.

This one is getting kicked out of my collection. I liked this at first. It started out as a soft sort of rose and peach mix but then I started to just smell the powdery note. Its way too powdery for my liking. Something about this reminds me of the old dusting powder and avon perfumes my grandmother had collected in a drawer for too many years.

Some people aren’t getting the concept of this perfume, and at first, I didn’t either. I sprayed it on and thought, what is this? It didn’t really smell like anything in particular. Then, after waving the bottle in front of my nose, I realized from the scent I was getting that the name of the perfume is “Body”. It is named that because the concept of this perfume is for it to work like it is a second skin. It’s a skin scent that’s not meant to be an olfactory piece of art on the skin but rather to enhance your “BODY”, like a “your skin, but better fragrance”. It smells like freshly showered skin.
Spray lightly though, because this can be thick if you don’t. Spraying it properly and with it working nicely with your skin chemistry, it will give you the feeling of clean, fresh skin all day long. Men like this and it might be because it is the smell of freshly showered and clean skin that they find more attractive than the smell of a bakery or flower shop because it’s something more natural on the skin.
This has become a lovely addition to my wardrobe. I wear this mainly in cooler weather and the EDT in warm weather. To describe what it smells like, I’d say it’s like a peachy, rosy, and musky scent like what would be left on your skin after using a really nice soap, only this lasts longer than the soap. Certainly a fragrance that can be worn daily and not offend anyone. Longevity about 8 hours but sillage is more intimate. People can smell it standing near you but not outside of arms length from you.

I only use male perfumes, but this one is exceptional. It has that peachy touch with floral opening, which sits on a very seductive woody base, and the most amazing thing is that it is not loudly sweet (nauseating) but slightly sweet. All this combination results in a delicious, sensual fragrance with excellent projection and longevity, and far from being cloying, is very feminine and comfortable to use and please. The funny thing is that this perfume reminds me “by chance” of Marilyn Monroe, I imagine that if she wore a current fragrance it would be like this, alias the proposal of the fragrance “Body” is to adjust the skin, to the body, to mix with it (and Marilyn always said that the best clothes were her own skin!) Use, I believe you will feel luxurious !!! (give few sprinkles, do not abuse because you can lose the proportion, especially during the day). Special, Gorgeous.

Ugh…this perfume has such a strange smell.I don’t like it at all!And the sad part is that it is very persistent…
I see that it has vanilla in it,but I don’t feel any vanilla. To me,it’s a strong, kinda artificial perfume, but with a note of elegance in it.
I feel like this perfume might be liked by older persons, like mothers, aunts or even grandmas

This is so powdery, I find it perfect for the rainy days, while I stay inside and sip from my tea cup. I also find it different than most of the common fragrances nowadays, that are either too sweet or extremely citrusy. Lovely comforting scent for me

Bought This at Marshall’s,a blind buy for $19.99. I don’t love it,but I don’t dislike it totally. This fragrance has a bitter note (I’m guessing it’s wormwood?) That lasts the whole time. But it is a warm cozy fragrance, that I feel best suits fall or winter. It’s really growing on me.

Honestly, this fragrance wasn’t on my wishlist but it was on sale in Muller in Germany, so I bought 35ml. It’s clean, cozy, cashmere on me. I expext to wear it in Fall and maybe into Spring/cooler Summer days next year, if I still have any left.
When I first sprayed Body on paper I was indifferent to it but didn’t exactly dislike it. Fragrances are often very different on paper than on my skin, so I went back and carefully sprayed lightly on my wrist.
I was very worried about the wormwood note because some reviewers describe it as smelling like sweat and I hate sweat with a passion. I’ll definitely avoid wearing Burberry Body on warm humid days. I’ll return to this review if I have any bad experiences with the wormwood note which I don’t have any/or much experience with. I tested Body on a very waqrm and humid day and at least I didn’t pick up any smell of sweat that day. But I’d only sprayed it on one wrist. I think I appreciate Burberry Body more in cooler weather.
Update 25.07.2017: We’re experiencing somewhat Spring cool weather here in Denmark. The projection is stronger than when I tested Burberry Body on a hot, humid day in Germany. The opening is brighter and fruitier on me with the freesia and peach being very distinguishable. it becomes pleasantly soft/bright again after 30 mins. So that’s just something I have teo keep in mind if I wear it on a day I have to be close with other people.

This perfume opens with a clean peach and then evolves a bit to a soft powdery rose –
