This fragrance is kind of a guilty pleasure. Strong, slightly sweet amber and spices with some floral accords buried in there as well.
I haven’t worn this for a full day yet, so I can’t speak to its performance, but it seems strong with good projection. A little goes a long way, according to my skin test.
Purchased this in July, but probably won’t give it a full spin until the first colder autumn day. Not something you wear with shorts, flip flops and bright colors. More of a fragrance for a nice dinner date, a dark suit, soft music and a fancy restaurant.
My first impression is that this wears like niche, which belies the $25 price tag.
    An absolutely beautiful fragrance.

Very classy scent, had my wife pick it up for me when she was traveling in Europe along with Wood Noir, both are gems, I wear Amber Noble in rainy summer days & Wood Noir in winter, both are niche quality fragrances for a very low price, longevity is about 8 hours, I like it.

This one take me back to my childhood when my grandmother baked her lovely cake every sunday. I can’t remember name of it just smells exactly like Zara’s Ambre. It’s kinda sweet but not too much, wee bit of spices on the end. Doesn’t have boring, cheep’n’nasty smel. Applied 8:30 am , now 8:30 pm and still pretty good. Overall : Performence is super, price too, unfortunetly it has been discontinued. Lucky me,found last bottle in Belfast store.

    Fragrance -Ambre Noble Zara
    Bottle from – 2017
In my opinion,Ambre Noble is one of the best and the most complex fragrance from Zara.
This is a story about a warm, exotic, spicy and a bit animalic amber with an astonishing touch of divine rose and with a wisper of oriental flowers.
    “Quality/Cost Ratio”is extremely high.
    Longevity – 7/10(7+ hours)
Silage/Projection – 8/10(moderate to heavy projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours)
Weather -best in autumn, winter and early spring.
    Age – 23+
    Compliments – 8/10
    Scent – 8,5/10
Main notes according to me – amber, rose, saffron, benzoin, oriental flowers, bergamot.
The drydown is ambery, spicy and a bit powdery and I get some -amber,spices,benzoin and oud.
    Emotions -dark vibe elegance,oriental,exotic,mysterious, sophisticated.
Occasion -Perfect for special occasions, nights out and formal and semi-formal events.

One of the few fragrances that I have that still follows me like an Aura 6-7 hours after applying.
As my olfactory is being affected by an anti allergy spray I have been using since 20 years, I can only notice the sillage around me of pretty strong fragrances.
For this reason many high rated fragrances are simply not for me.
Gucci Pour HommeII & Acqua di Gio, for example, in order to detect them afte spraying I need to sniff as if I were sniffing Cocaine.
This is a Eau de Parfum and so it behaves.
In terms of performance, it beats 80-90% of the fragrances I own.

Blind buy this for a cold rainy season in my city. havent tried to sniff until last nite.
after a quick shower, have my body 5 sprayed on usual spots..
and then my wife commented woooww..deep…sweetly masculine and sooo mysterious.
i can trace a mild and elegant oud, amber and a little touch of of sweet things (no vanilla?)
To me, this frag is so classy and not smell cheap or generic.
Definitely not for youngsters and ladies.

The new ZARA AMBRÉ EDP 2017 is a different fragrance from this EDT from 2016 (aparently discontinued).
The notes of the new fragrance (classified as Oriental – Floral for men) are:
oriental flowers- bergamott – zaffron – nutmeg – rose
Yes… true!!! There is no amber in the notes, but the fragrance really behaves as having amber in it. It’s a very (very) good EDP. I only bought it yesterday so I still do not have a final opinion on the fragrance but believe me… It’s a real winner and performs very well. I would judge it to be an unisex fragrance.
The bottle is a bit different as well. It has the same size, same glass colour but the surface is totally smooth and not with a pattern design as the “old” amber fragrance.
Total cost at the ZARA store: 13.00 Euros

This fragrance is insanely goood!!! Think of it as a masculine cookie/ dessert in a bottle. To sum this fragrance up, think of it as a resinous, very sweet and potent men’s gourmand. Last like 6 hours, but jumps off the skin for 2 hours. This fragrance is also one that you shouldn’t smell directly off of your skin. In the air is where you get this cookie smell. Spray it on a friend and you will be amazed at how a cookie fragrance can be masculine. That being said, this is not for everyone, many men might find this a tad fem. But, if you have the right attitude to rock this fragrance, it will work wonders for you. Get it ASAP my friends. You know how Zara likes to discontinue every damn good scent they produce.

Ambre Noble by Zara is not just a Oriental fragrance for men. It is a fantastic amber / oud sweet fragrance for both genders.
It does not smell generic, cheap or sinthetic.
It is a quite linear fragrance, with the woodsy notes well balanced with the sweet amber notes.
It’s the kind of fragrance that impresses the people around you, as well pleasing you.It will get you a huge amount of compliments from the ladies.
Sillage and longevity are preety high. 4 hours ago I applied 2 sprays in the back of my left hand and 1 spray above each of my ears (in my hair to be precise, as I am not bald).
My wife is sitting in front of me at a table (5 feet away), and can detect and enjoy the scent, so it projects fairly well.
I presume that the total longevity will stand for 4 to 6 hours more (so a total of 8 to 10 hours).
It is a very relaxing, warm and enjoyable fragrance.
Although is not a common comment for a Zara fragrance, do remember to not overspray. If you do so, you get a bit more longevity but you will have also have an annoying super strong first hour that may disturb you and the people around you.
If you want a bigger longevity just respray ONCE after 5 hours.
The cost? It cost me €17.5 euros (not discounted).
The scent does sound familiar to me as I get vibes from more than a couple of niche expensive fragrances. I cannot nominate just one, but probably the biggest similarity vibe goes to Montale Aoud Ambre.
It is a clear 8.5 out of 10 for me.
EDIT 1 – 9 1/2 hours went by and Ambre Noble still survives as a very enjoyable skin scent and 1 foot sillage.
EDIT 2 – 12 hours went by and the Ambre Noble scent is a faint skin scent. In practical terms I consider that the fragrance is not dectetable anylonger.
EDIT 3 – Try to layer this fragrance just with a little bit of lavender (1 small spray). I got an awsome different result.

    powdery amber with spices.
nice but not full botlle worthy.

This stuff is very strong and potent honestly could give you a headache if you over do it its sweet floral ambery most definitely easily unisex. Silage and longevity are outstanding. Very easily niche comparable. It really is a beautiful fragrance.

When I first try it I hated it, too sweet, powdery and too much rose for me.
But I try it again two more times, and finally I got myself a bottle. Is a great fragrance if is applied correctly, 2 or 3 sprays max, on chest and wrists.
It smells awesome from its silage and not that good if you smell it from too close.
I guess can be unisex. I need to wear it more before my final rating.

  13. :

This is a masculine dry woody amber (with a touch of fougere, hence “soapy” & “powdery”), very little warmth and NOT resinous; wouldn’t recommend to fans of labdanum based amber.

    @samuelgustav
Your description of “Designed In Leather” line is spot on.
Gourmand Leather is VERY sweet, more in the opening, like Code Profumo, 1 million or others in that genre. But after about 30 minutes the iris and leather start to be more dominant. That made me to believe is some kind of clone of Valentino Uomo Intense. Fooled me.
I got it, and after a full wearing I think is more similar to Ultra Male and Profumo. Performances are nuclear on my skin. Not really my kind of fragrance but is usable from time to time. 7/10
Rich Leather is the Aventus clone, is pretty well done, but I already have Vibrant Leather which is more similar to the original Aventus but not that long lasting. The best from this line. 7.5/10
Unique Leather is indeed unique, but for me lack any kind of wow factor. Is like 7.0 but with some musk and fake leather. 5/10
None of this 3 fragrances really highlight the leather note, and that’s very disappointing.
All 3 are EDP concentration.IMO is step back from Zara after the awesome releases like Oud Exclusive and Wood Noir(I didn’t tried Ambre Noble).

There are 3 new fragrances from Zara, a Leather collection, with leather covering the bottle. Based on badly first impressions: A Gourmand one which I found to sickly sweet, in the same style of code profumo, other 2 which I don’t recall the names, one of them similar to the Vibrant leather (that is similar to Aventus) but even more fresh and “cleaner”, the other one was good, can’t remember how it smells, nothing groundbreaking, may test them better.
Zara has some great fragrances but lot’s of redundancy also

    @ageofsillage
Maybe there is a new one realeased, I don’t know.
I was @ Zara last monday did not see it there.
Probably it is the one mentioned below.
I know there are three others in the line with Black box:
Vibrant Leather, Impact Masculin and Ganache Tonka.
The Ganache Tonka is not mentioned on fragrantica yet….
I tested Ambre Noble yesterday, it is a nice warm and little sweet fragrance wich lasted about 16 hours on me.
Could not smell it right because of the flu.
Edit 26 feb: Yes I saw yesterday the 3 new leathernamed fragrances @ Zara, but did not test it yet.

@Freedomlover the shop had one Oud Exclusive left, today’s my lucky day! Wood Noir was nowhere to be seen so will have to search for that. One of the staff said folks are selling on Ebay for two to three times the price!
BTW, I saw another new release on the shelf which the Zara staff mentioned had arrived just this morning. It’s called Gourmand Leather. I could not find it in Fragrantica yet, unless they re-released one of their previous bottles under a new name. I sprayed the tester on my wrist and based on my limited knowledge of fragrances, if there is anything I can compare it to, it would be Armani Code (in the opening anyway). There is something similar to the tonka bean note. I just started this hobby so by all means take my opinion with a grain of salt. Anyway, happy to have a bottle of this Oud Exclusive which I believe is truly exclusive at the moment given it’s not readily available, in my area at least.

@ageofsillage i have another person to thank for his review on zara exclusive oud as I’m going thorough a oud phase.i was intrigued and managed to get hold of some it’s truly stunning easily competes with niche and high end fragrance houses. I’m totally astounded by the quality of zara for a fraction of the cost. I’m very happy to have stocked up on exclusive oud and wood noir. They both smell unique and very expensive not synthetic or generic. I hope your manage to get hold of some bottles i can imagine people selling this in eBay for inflated prices if zara stop production of this.

Noble amber reminds me of trish mcavoy black rose oud very similar aroma and dry down not a clone but very very similar.

  20. :

    5 out of 5

@freedomlover will try my friend. Zara can clearly compete with the other designer houses, and in some cases, out-perform some of the more expensive scents. I still cannot believe it, it’s like a dream come true lol. I’m looking forward to trying those two. The challenge will be finding a shop with stock. Only 1 of the 4 Zara shops in my area had Ambre Noble. I hope they replenish their inventory before the rest of the world realizes the amazing juice coming out of this house, and becomes even harder to find. Zara is one of the houses to watch in 2017, they’re really shocking the fragrance community with these bangers! I say that in a good way!

@ageofsillage oud noir and most definitely exclusive oud smell truly amazing as I’ve said like you’ve v done a blind test and most would think it’s a niche fragrance zara offer true quality for outstanding value for money Shame on n the niche and top fragrance houses fit charging extortionate prices. Most definitely stock up my friend.

  22. :

    4 out of 5

Oh yeah this is a nice one. A warm and pleasant amber scent that is relaxing and soothing to be near. I had my friend smell my wrist and she immediately loved it. She said it smelled expensive. So, I asked her how much she thought I paid for it and she said over $200 lol I actually only paid $30!! DAMN Zara’s doing a bang up job. And what`s this? I also hear that Oud Exclusive and Wood Noir are just as good, if not better? Wow Zara stepping up their game!! I just hope they don`t discontinue them before I can grab one for myself!

Tried this on paper today, first impression was a bit lackluster, vanilla amber and rose, good exotic vibe to it not common in the designer realm so that’s a plus, but lacks something, not in quality, the quality is way above the price tag, maybe I was expecting something different, I think I didn’t like the rose in this one, I will give it another shot other day.
Much better options out there but also much more expensive. Bonus point for Zara to bring something new to the table! I do believe this one will be better suited to a woman actually, totally unisex.

  24. :

Out of the collection the ones that are the best and standout fragrances are exclusive oud and wood noir. Remarkable fragrances beautiful scents.
    They are all easily unisex.
Amber noble very heavy and intense but also subtle if that makes sense very sweet ambery and powdery i found it to strong for me.
Wood noir and exclusive oud I’ve stocked up on they are simply stunning.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

I.hope this is the same quality as zara exclusive oud which is beautiful. Managed to order 2 bottles will leave review once I’ve tried it a few times.
If your in the UK it’s available to order from zara website.
Get it while you can! !!!
Managed to try it in store a sweet intense velvety smooth vanilla amber fragrance most definitely unisex. Lasts and lasts warming sweet fragrance. Smells natural in no way harsh or chemically. Could really easily pass for a niche high end fragrance I’m no fragrance snob but i guarantee if this was made by a top niche house people would be praising it’s quality and blend.

  26. :

Zara area really upping there game love zara exclusive oud and warm sweet and addictive the price is unbelievable for such quality Shame on the niche brands for ridiculously high pricing regimes.

I do not like the opening like fructose-citrusy then stabilizes after in a very sweet smell like many others but with something more oriental I can not decipher. a perfume relaxation. I do not know if they’ll buy. excellent performance 7/10

  32. :

    4 out of 5

Ambre Noble is wonderful warm, cozy and seductive unisex fragrance. It’s an EDP concentration and on my skin the performance is very good. I think many people will get really comfortable with Ambre Noble.

Wow ! This is very nice.
A clean, soapy amber. Sweet but not overwhelming. Sillage is above average.
    Nice job Zara !

Absolutely love it – for a cheap price you get a very decent smell – with good longetivy and sileage – amber is clearly there and beside that it’s for me difficult to describe it …
