I like Amó Amasso.
It’s of a very simple constitution. The opening is centered on apples, with some kind of creaminess. Then cinnamon and woods come in, and then amber predominates. Amber is heavy, so spray it very sparingly.
I first found it quite weird, because I wouldn’t expect such an oriental driven smell in a Brazilian-made bottle. It’s clearly a winter scent, and Brazilian perfumery (for men) is all about summer and herbs and citruses.
Amasso, as livio.marucci have said, means making out. It’s a comfortable, very intimate, warm kind of scent. Good for, say, cuddling while watching a movie late at night at home with the significant other, after having had a nice dinner. The name couldn’t be more appropriate. I really mean it, it smells like cuddling. When you try it you’ll see. Just don’t overdo it.
In my opinion, this is one of the best Brazilian perfumes ever made. Simple and effective.
