Maison Margiela has launched its latest perfume innovation: Maison Margiela Filters. Blur and Glow are the names of these two editions, which were inspired by the many filters people use nowadays when posting pictures on social media. Both were placed in the brand’s Replica fragrance family.
Glow and Blur are two dry-oil Margiela fragrances that are meant to be layered (yes, again the trend of layering coming by) with other Replica perfumes—or your own fragrance if you’d like—for a scent that can be tweaked according to your own desires.
Glow is designed to act as a light and fresh filter, symbolizing “the vibrancy of a sunny afternoon.” It offers strong notes of neroli, grapefruit blossom, bergamot, and rose absolute.
Both Replica Filters oils are meant to be sprayed on the body or hair right after your shower. Then just add one of the ten Replica fragrances over the filter.
The silhouette of each Replica bottle is inspired by classic apothecary jars, allowing the collection to be instantly identifiable. Each bottle features a 100% cotton label, which is printed using black ink text and resembles the tags used on clothes and accessories found in the Replica couture collection, in addition to a unique pump wrapped with rope to symbolize the authentic reproduction of the original couture line.
Both “Replica Filters” are available in spray bottles of 50 ml for $55 / 50€. Glow was launched in 2016.

I rarely wear this on its own unless I’m going wine tasting or to the beach, when I want a simple fragrance that wears close to the skin. It layers great with citrus-centric perfumes, such as Commodity Nectar and Atelier Cologne Pomelo Paradis.

I ave no idea how they bottle solar notes but this really does smell like a sunny summer day. This opens clean and zesty like a really nice soap. I also smell sunscreen and the ocean.

Just received my glow oil and it’s very fresh and citrusy and radiant. I smell Jasmine to my dislike but it’s still enjoyable mixed with lipstick on , very sunny and fresh , quite floral to my nose ! Great also for hair to tame drizzles and smooth down cuticles !
This can easily be detected or worn on its own for a fresh citrusy floral aroma. Not so weak at all.
I will pear this with or under some of my Madison Martin Margielas. But I am still a bigger fan of BLUR by far.

Glow reminds me slightly of Alien and suntanlotion ,to me that’s not so good,definitely radiant like it’s suopse to smell.
