This is one of those you DEFINITELY need to try and not blind buy! It is rare I find a frag truly gross on me, but this is one that is. To my nose on my skin, the first blast surround me in cat urine and dog feces (presumably called “musk”, but smells like animal by product to the nastiest degree!). Fortunately, as others have said, this is short-lived on my skin as well, about 3 hours (I left it on in one small spot to test that, but had to wash it off the rest of my body after about an hour as it was making me nauseated!). If there is tobacco in here, my nose is immune to it (and I’m a huge fan of tobacco frag, which is why I tried this one). It finally settles down into something tolerable, but still unpleasant to me. I love unique frags and, as mentioned, tobacco, so thought this might be a winner. I just tossed the other half of this sample – I’d never wear this even if it was given as a gift! Please test before blind buying – this is very unique and will take a certain person with a certain sense to enjoy this (and incidentally, the two people who smelled it on me said “you stink” – enough said!).

At the initial blast, I mostly get musk. Middle school locker room armpit musk. Yuck. The dry down smells better; it turns into warm leather. I don’t smell any of the tobacco or “tulle.” For me, it’s not worth muscling through the cloud of musk – tossed my sample in the trash.

I don’t get the tulle at all. To me, it’s all old leather cowboy boot. Very masculine.

In one word: raunchy. That seems to fit perfectly.
Well, 1st up it’s HYRAX tincture (as in, a tiny animal musk, real in this case) and ambergris vs plain musk and styrax. I admit I got a sample because I wanted to know what REAL animal musk and ambergris smells like!
It starts out VERY strong and almost pickled smelling. It begins to warm up slowly and begins to smell, well, truly animalic now. Unlike the other reviews I get LONG longevity from most soivohles. Even their cologne concentrations (Carpathian Oud, Dog Star) lasted over 4 hours on me and this one, well time will tell but it’s stronger than the colognes, for sure – it’s the absolute.
It’s odd, unlike anything I’ve ever smelled. I’d put this is the same category as other odd, strong, nichey scents such as Slumberhouse’s Sova and Jeke. Will keep my powerful little 1ml sample.

Too thick and very harsh! i smell plant roots, harsh Ambergris, slight tobacco, & spices….. but! it vanished already after couple of minutes applying it on my arm.
after a calm down it turns to a mesmerizing essence, calming with soft tobacco mixed in amber & musk & the tuberose appears slightly giving a very relaxing essence. as i said i wish it lasts more.

Like the other scents I tried from this perfumer, the scent is very nice but only lasts a very short time on the skin. I’m talking less than an hour on all 3 samples I received and tried. The trick with natural perfumery is to use something like glycerine to give the oils weight and moisturize the skin so it stays longer.

On my skin smells almost like hot cross buns with real butter. So good.
