Beautiful, airy, outdoorsy, aromatic light fragrant wood with a surprisingly herbal edge to it – but mostly resin and bark and dry grass shimmering in a low scrub landscape in the afternoon heat. That’s what it conjures for me, anyway, with Fueguia 1833’s signature classy and organic feel to all the ingredients. Just beautiful but very much ‘smell of a place’ rather than ‘feel my perfumer’s art’ sort of area. Bewitching – it reminds me a little of D S & Durga El Cosmico in its power to transport me to another place. Completely unisex, reasonable sillage and longevity although I’d love both to be a little stronger. Very very expensive but would be worth it.

My brother travels to Buenos Aires twice a year and was kind enough to purchase a bottle of Zonda in extrait concentration for me as a gift.
My neophyte nose considers this to be a tangy dark citrus scent. The pink pepper is uncommon and quite nice. Dry down shifts slighty to cedar, but the deep citrus remains. It lasts about 4 hours on my skin.
It goes well with the South Florida climate. Great weekend scent.
The hand-made wooden box is a really nice touch.
