I bought this perfume from the “Arabian Oud” shop in London and I think it had been discontinued as I can’t see it any more. The notes are top notes of floral but not too strong as its over shadowed by the Cedarwood middle note, which is very prominent and makes the bulk of this perfume. Base notes are Musk (black synthetic) and some mild spices, again the Cedarwood is still very prominent here.
It’s a very manly woody musky scent and I would be surprised if a woman can pull that one off, it can be heavy on a man if more than 2 spritz. Better used in cool weather.
Very good longevity and projection, excellent juices used here.
If you like Cedarwood then get this blindly, thats the core of the perfume

For years (since 1991) my number one was Cacharel pour l’homme, since today it is Yadis for men. I’m deeply in love with this one for several reasons, but mostly because it takes me back to 1981.
For years now i was wondering what perfume my kindergarten teacher (woman) used to wear, and still wondering till this day. A few weeks back a friend of mine invited me for dinner, i went to his house and as soon i entered the room, BAM!! this scent transformed me back to 1981, back to the kindergarten class. My first question to him was off course what he was wearing, do you like it he asked me,, i’m in love man, tell me now, what’s the name.
The thing is that i now at least have a basis in my search to that perfume she was wearing, and at the same time enjoy this Yadis on my body, it smells S.U.P.E.R.B.
Sillage and Longevity are enormously.
If yadis reminds you of a feminine perfume from the 70’s or the 80’s Please do tell me which one,, or if you have some tips for me, most welcome, because my search continuous.
