I must have gotten a bad bottle, because all I can smell is chemical, no cacao, and definitely no spice. I was looking for a chocolate scent to try, and the price was right, or so I thought; the price was wrong all around. Didn’t pay much for it, but to put it lightly, I bought a Hugo Boss knock off from the dollar store that has better chops than this. Not sure where the comparisons to Armani Code are coming from; I just sprayed a bit on myself to see if I could agree, and Armani Code this is not. It doesn’t even hold a torch to Axe Dark Temptation body spray, which is not surprising really since the Axe costs more than what I paid for this.

As a woman, I like this. I used to keep a bottle of this in my poweder room for the male guests ( something a different for the ladies of course). I was surprised at how many men (and women) would spray this. I loved the way the powder room always smelled after I had visitors. You may not be able to detect/smell it 20 minutes after you spray. But, others can still smell it for a little longer. Unfortunately, it lasts maybe 45 minutes to an hour. It does last a while longer on cloth. But, it’s Very nice just the same. Especially for $5.00 and Women do love chocolate.

This smells great right out of the bottle, but after about 15-20 minutes it’s pure crap. At around $5 a bottle, at least you’re not angry for not liking it. It’s good for junior high boys.

Got this as a side gift for Hannukah. I believe she said it was only $6 bucks, so I didn’t really care if I liked it or not. Well upon initial spray, I loved it, the smell is absolutely amazing. What a perfect scent, sprayed it twice but it was pretty much gone in 20-30 minutes.
Wore it once to the bar, ended up spraying 16 sprays, 2 on front of shirt, 2 on back of shirt, 4 on jeans, the rest on me. I got about 2 hours, perhaps a little over that of longevity. But instantly I had my buddies wife asking, What are you wearing and saying wow I love it. 10 minutes later as we switched up teams for fowling(Football Bowling) my other buddies wife is saying, yes you really do smell great, I love that smell. 2 compliments within 45 minutes, that’s tough to pull off. I ended up buying 2 more bottles even though I haven’t worn it much yet, but when I do I go extremely heavy on the sprayer, it really does smell that good. And for the price I could care less being trigger happy. Even after 16 sprays, it won’t bother your nose or give you a headache. My girl now makes me wear this for our Friday night date nights when we stay in the house. She loves the smell, I gotta admit I do as well, I always keep a few bottles of this handy now.
It’d be nice to see Armani make an Armani Code Cacao version of Code.

To make a smell this nice, it took a bit of planning. But obviously this one has commitment issues, it just won’t stay with you for long.

Does it smell like Armani Code? YES! Will you go through ten $5.00 bottles of this before you go through one $50.00 bottle of Armani Code? Most definitely.
Your best bet is to buy several of these and have one stashed at every location you visit frequently. Because by the time you get from point A to point B, it’s time to spray again, even if point B happens to be right across the street.
But hey, at least the bottle looks cool, like a giant lighter.

Update…. I have started to like it more than Armani CODE but it doesn’t last long enough and hence I am searching for couple of more bottles for spraying it liberally but I’m unable to get it in India. If anyone has this scent and wants to sell then please PM me.

This is a terrific scent for the price. If you spray a few more sprays it lasts for about one and half hour. Totally smells like Armani CODE. Got it at $8 and it’s totally worth it. Highly recommended.

    First initial wearing
This is a great scent however it only lasted on my skin for an hour and radiated off the skin for about 20 minutes.
To my nose this opens up synthetic and smells very similar to Axe Dark Temptation. Once this dries down you get what smells like Armani Code minus the citrus. I actually prefer the smell of Yacht Man Chocolate but unfortunately performance on this isn’t good with 6 sprays so I don’t see this taking Armani Codes place in my collection.
However, this sounds excessive but possibly with 15-20 sprays I could possibly see this being better. I’ll have to do some testing and re-review this as this is a scent worth spending time getting right.
Overall rating 6.5 out of 10 ! Scent wise I’d give this an 8 but performance really drags this down

Does not matter what or how it smells, lasts for around 20 mins. 🙁

Yacht Man Chocolate for me is mostly minty chocolate at the top (it’s probably the cloves that, with the chocolate, give the minty impression) and not that much after that. Can’t argue with the price at $6 for 100ml but there’s not much in it, to my nose, and it’s gone within the hour. Slightly disappointing since Chocolate seems to get much of the buzz among the Yacht Man line but no worries.

What i get from this fragrance at the top is a sweet pineapple smell and also this fragrance would make a good alternative to axe dark temptation body spray

Not much longevity or projection, but the notes are put together nicely. Soft, spicy, sweet, synthetic, linear, and for $5, probably one of the best buys out there.

Nothing chocolate about this fragrance. It is a replica of Armani Code. I sprayed Armani Code on one side and Yacht Man Chocolate on the other and both start off the same both are really similar. After the dry down Yacht man Chocolate began to smell similar to Playboy Hollywood. So in conclusion, for the price this is an excellent pick up. Doesnt last long though. Give it about an hour and the smell becomes a skin scent. I recomend you go nuts on the trigger. overall good cologne. I also recomend to wear this as a summer/Spring night fragrance it smells better, if you apply in the hot summer sun it will evaporate sooner and will smell like soft sensual body oder. If you own Playboy hollywood you can combine with Yacht Man Chocolate for a better appeal.
Thumbs up on the replica smell of Armani Code….

I think you will want to spray spray three or four times more than usual, but if you do I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised! The notes seem right, and the musk, while of the laundry variety (at least at first) is not over the top here. At first there is a blast (if you can call it that) of obnoxious “fresh” aroma chemicals, but they only last a few minutes. Then it seems like it needs to get warmed up, but within perhaps half an hour it comes together nicely, and certainly smells reasonably natural. It’s head and shoulders above dollar store scents but doesn’t cost that much more! The spices are quite strong and rich here, and it’s not especially sweet. If you think Dior Homme smells like “lipstick” or that it’s too “feminine,” then you may not like this one, though. And if you want an outright gourmand scent, this is not it, as those elements are subsumed by musk, powdery florals, and spices. Longevity is very good too, while projection is average to good, but again, you may need to use quite a bit more than usual. Unlike what the other reviewer said, I see little resemblance to Code, which has a clear wood note, along with citrus, both of which last a while.

This Cologne Smells Really Good. Some People And Myself Might Say it Smells Similar To Burberry London. But If I Had To Choose, Burberry London Would Be My First Choice, Since The Longevity And Sillage Of Yacht Man Chocolate Does Not Even Compare Nor Last As Long as Burberry. “Go Figure”
