Description
The fragrance name is pronounced “why zero six dash ess.”
In the future there will be no bananas. Blackbird describes the fragrance as not a novelty scent and not a gourmand but designed for everyday wear. Y06-S features notes of banana, electronics, agarwood, jasmine and milk. The fragrance begins as a friendly floral with a clear and contrasting electronics note to distract from the fact that what you are truly smelling is banana. Once the zap of circuit boards die down, jasmine backs up the banana and keeps the room bright and happy with moments of milky, plasticy cream. Like a good banana, it holds strong almost until the end, with oud revealing itself as the mastermind behind the entire composition.
Y06-S is available as a 15 ml eau de parfum.
Y06-S was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Nicole Miller.

Miguel Matos’s Fragrantica review is spot on. Authentic top and middle banana notes with a burnt circuit base smell. In addition, I was hit by a blue cheese whiff that disappears quickly unless you are fixated on it. The longevity is good, a few hours, and it is a unique, complex enough addition to my collection. For having synthetic and foody vibes intermingled, my nose tolerates this rather well.

I love banana candy, and if you do as well, this is just the stuff. This is a cold banana scent, and it stays close to the skin. Gone in a few hours…
