Where did you find this gem. Anywhere in the US?

Gorgeous. Truly beautiful, I love it. Delicious rich full apricot right at the beginning, then quickly into my nose comes the beautiful narcissus, which is elegant and true, just like all the glorious jonquils I’ve ever smelt and adored since the beginning of time. It’s one of my FAVOURITE flowers; and lily-of-the-valley is another joyous and favorite treasure of mine. It’s so sweet and beautiful. They’re both so fresh and alive and exhilarating. Always a joy to smell, and behold. And the lovely soft woods in the dry-down give a lovely garden feel, which only adds to the wonderful experience of this perfume. Joyous and happy and free – carefree – that’s how I feel when I wear X Twist Narcissus. It’s beautiful.

The original and rather regal X, a powdery/spicy/mossy and woody affair, is given a Summer makeover by adding juicy apricot nectar right off the bat. The floral heart still features jasmine at its core but this now shares the stage with the new star of the show, narcissus, which adds beautiful foliage-green, sweet-herbacious and rich, mildly dry/woody complexities over the more familiar base and long into the drydown of X with a twist.
This is how to do a flanker in keeping with all that’s essential for this from the original.

I agree that the Narcissus gives it a nice twist but for me because I already own the original X it was not different enough to warrant a FB. The zing or twist did not last long enough imo but while it did it was nice. Dry down is basically X . I sprayed one on one hand and the other on the other hand. A little experiment and very close.

X with a Twist indeed. This is a lovely spin on the original, it has a vibrant and juicy apricot note which works perfectly in conjunction with the original jasmine and musk combination creating a care-free and spirited aroma that is still refined an sophisticated. The “twist” comes into play with the narcissus note which softens the fragrance up making it more feminine and floral. Very nice.
