Description
Like the view over an endless blue ocean, this fragrance is daring and irresistible. The juncture of the fresh citruses (Calabrian bergamot, pink grapefruit, lemon and Italian tangerine) with a cool ozonic accord, are surrounded by a spicy-floral bouquet (red pepper, cloves, lily of the valley and wild roses). White musk and amber combine with natural cedar and patchouli to portrait a sensual, elegant base note. The perfumer is Egon Oelkers.
The bottle’s design is minimalistic, with the use of the finest French glass, decorated with three elegant black black bands, the spaces between which are inlaid with platinum. The wooden stopper is oversized and it can also be seated under the bottle to create an unusual visual effect. The package is luxurious with a mystical black gloss and 2 platinum-colored bands that replicate the design of the flacon. It was designed by Rainer Diersche.
The fragrance is available as 100 ml Eau de Parfum. It is made in France.

I’m in agreement with all the other reviews so far. Yeah, it’s ok, yeah, it’s boring, no it’s not unisex, and yeah, it’s way overpriced…

برای لمس آرامشی که که روی شن های ساحل تجربه کردیم و با نسیمی که در لحظات طلوع یا غروب خورشید در ساحل به اوج رسید؛ عطرهای زیادی ساخته شدن، بعضیا شگفت زدمون کردن و خیلیا، یه حس مفرح و بانشاط بهمون دادن. تولید انبوه عطرایی با این فضا در سالهای اخیر، باعث شد تا عطرای زیادی بین گروه بعضیا و خیلیا، که بهشون اشاره شد؛ معلق بمونن و گروه زیادی هم، از خیلیا اونطرف تر رفته و از حد ترخص خارج بشن!
واضح تر اینکه، عطرهای زیادی با تم دریایی و هندوانه مانند ارائه شدن؛ که مثل کارای شاخص این گروه نیستن؛ اما عطرای بد و زننده ای هم نبودن. ویستا سل مار، یکی از اوناست! عطری که خیلی عمیق و پیچیده نیست؛ اما به سمت تکرار و ابتذال هم نمیره!
عطر با مرکبات خوشمزه، کمی فلفلی و کمی خاکی باز میشه. مرکباتی که تازه و درخشان نیستن و شیطنت خودشون رو پشت این فضای گِلی-اسپایسی پنهان کردن. اما این پنهان کاری بعد از چند ده دقیقه با موجی از دریا شسته میشه و ویستا سول مار؛ همون عطر سیتروسی-دریایی خنک و شیرینی میشه که انتظارشو داشتم. خنکا و شیرینی هندوانه ای، با رگه هایی شور و کمی چرکین.
ویستا سول مار، بیشتر از اونکه حس لمس آرامش کنار دریا و قدم زدن در نسیم جادویی اوقات پر از افسون اونو با خودش داشته باشه؛ مثل نوشیدن یه لیوان آب میوه و خیره شدن به تصویری از سواحل کاراییب رو القا می کنه.
پخش و ماندگاری این عطر متوسطه که در شروع کار شرایطش بهتر هست..

For that price, you’d expect something at least passable. Vista soul Mare is not even that, being a one-dimensional, boring synthetic aquatic.
Linari would do much better of they were to sell those gorgeous bottles for their designs alone. Though, I imagine that gold-and platinum- coated bottles with fancy wood caps are in fact the reason for such outrageous quality of the perfumes inside.

Smell: Oceanic + Citrus
Image: You have arrived in a lost island of the pacific with lot of citruses trees surrounded by the ocean.
It does smell better overall than mass market oceanic/citrus scent but his lack of personnality and complexity, is not justified at this price.
Still a very good and well blended scent with top quality materials.

البداية تبدو مبشرة.
العطر يأتي على النمط الإنجليزي الذي يشبه الكولونيات الراقية
الحمضيات في المقدمة “الليمون – الجريب فروت – البرجموت – البرتقال الطنجي المغربي” مدعمة بنوتة نسيم البحر.
هذا النمط للعطور الصيفية هو نمط آمن جدا
حتما ستقبله حتى وإن عبت عليه عدم التميز.
لكنك أبدا لن تقول أنك حصلت على عطر فاشل أو منفر
الآن مع ثلاثي البهجة “الفلفل الأحمر – الورد – زنابق الوادي”
يتزعمهم الفلفل الأحمر وهو مكون قد لا يلتفت إليه الكثيرون رغم أناقته وروعته خاصة في العطور الصيفية
عيبه الوحيد الذي يعد سببا في عدم الالتفات إليه أنه دائما يلعب دور “السنيد”
ولكن الشيء المؤكد أن البطولة وحدها لا تكفي لنجاح العمل
فهذا “السنيد” سيعطي العطر أكثر مما قد تتوقعه
فربما من دونه كان العطر سيكون له شكل مختلف تماما
أما الورود فعند البعض لا يصح أن يخلو عطر صيفي منها
أما زنابق الوادي فأنا أعتبرها سبب دخول العطر إلى دائرة الأناقة بما تحويه من لمسات حالمة لا تزول من الذاكرة سريعا.
القرنفل خافت جدا قد لا يدركه أغلب مستخدمي العطر
مضت ساعة ولا يزال الليمون يقود الجميع بسلاسة
الباتشولي وخشب السيدار والعنبر والمسك
ستنتظرهم طويلا، وربما يطول الانتظار ويخفت العطر رويدا رويدا دون حضورهم حتى المشهد الختامي
فهم بدرجات خافتة للغاية
وأنا صراحة لا أبالي لهذا الأمر
لأنني أحب أن يستمر العطر على هذا النمط
فكم من عطر صيفي أفسدته أخشاب السيدار “والفرجينية المدخنة خاصة” لكونها قاتمة لا تصلح إلا مع الشتاء
العطر بهذا الشكل يأتي على نمط الكولونيات الذكورية الانجليزية الأنيقة “فلوريس – بنهالوجينز – كريد – ميلر هاريس ….”
لا أراه يصلح للإستخدام النسائي بشكل كبير وإن كان ممكنا
ربما لو كانت نسبة المسك البودري أو الورود أعلى لكان سيصبح أكثر ميلا للملائمة النسائية
العطر يصلح كما ذكرت لمحبي الكولونيات الأنيقة مع امتياز الثبات الأعلى من عطور الدور السابق ذكرها
ومن يظن مثلا أن سيل مارين عطرا جيدا فسيكون هذا العطر أفضل منه بمراحل وبنفس درجة الثبات والفوحان

I’m afraid that I’m going to have to add my voice to choir on Linari VISTA SUL MARE. Although the quality of the components is beyond dispute, and this really does smell very nice, it is not at all unique or original. Upon application, in fact, it called immediately to mind Benetton BLU, which, while much more synthetic, is still entirely wearable and costs a tiny fraction of the price of this niche perfume.
I actually prefer to ignore the price in reviewing perfumes, for a couple of reasons. One is that I think that perfume is one of the best bargains around, and luxury perfume is by far the least expensive luxury product. (Consider the price of “niche” wine, for example!) So all things considered, I do not think that paying $200 for a bottle of perfume is exorbitant, especially given how long it lasts, and given the cost of everything else which people who use perfume also tend to enjoy (dinner at fine restaurants, nice clothes, taking taxis when they might have walked or used public transporation, fine wine–a bottle of which lasts at most for the duration of one meal–etc., etc.).
That said, it is not unreasonable, I think, for people to say that if two perfumes are nearly identical (empirically indistinguishable to the wearer himself), then, all things considered, the one which costs $20 is preferable to the one which costs $200. That’s just common sense.
Back to VISTA SUL MARE. This is a masculine cologne, not really a true unisex perfume, in my opinion. Several of the notes which we associate with masculine colognes are here, and, in particular, the “cool ozonic accord” just screams masculine cologne. So if you want to call this unisex, then you must be willing to concede that every so-called masculine ozonic cologne is also unisex. Fine. Use language however you like, but if you’re going to allow the possibility of a masculine cologne, then I cannot really see how this one would not qualify.
I would recommend this composition in particular to the gents who like ozonic colognes but whose physiology is incompatible with some of the synthetic components of vat-produced, low-cost colognes. For everyone else, a purchase of this perfume is just not going to make a lot of sense. Even if you happen to love the bottle, there are better choices within this house’s line-up.

Oceanic/aquatic scents are not my favorite category by any means, but Vista Sul Mare smells very nice. It is definitely unisex, leaning more towards the masculine in its dry-down. I prefer to smell this one on my husband rather than wear it myself.
Have to agree with the previous reviewer that while it does smell nice, Vista Sul Mare is a fairly typical example of this genre. Ocean, with citrus and a bit of spice. They did not break any new ground with this one. It’s an upscale version of ocean-y crowd-pleaser masculines that we’ve all smelled before.
It does distinguish itself with its sillage and longevity, both of which are excellent in a category whose scents often come on too strong but fade within three hours. Vista Sul Mare will get you through the workday and is perfectly office-appropriate.

Generic and ordinary. If you like fresh, innocuous fragrances, go for any cheaper mass market scent of the same famlily. Almost 200 bucks for “Vista Sull Mare”
