Description

Rouge Bunny Rouge is launching Fragrant Confections collection that encompasses three fragrances: Chatoyant, Lilt and Vespers. Fragrant mists of memories and emotions reflect in bottles of the new collection. Icy white glass flacons are embellished with transparent illustrations of plants frozen in winter. An abundance of aromas, closeness to nature and various herb sorts, as well as mysterious beauty are characteristic of the new collection of “memories preserved”.

Vespers develops into a composition intertwined of spices, both bold and mysterious. Top notes blend bergamot, cinnamon bark, violet leaf and black pepper, leading to a heart of frozen apple, lily of the valley, rose and violet. Base of the composition is warm and creamy, composed of sandalwood, vanilla, musk and woody notes of cedar.
Fragrances of the Rouge Bunny Rouge Fragrant Confections collection are available as 50 ml eau de parfum.
Vespers was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Sonia Constant.

flat laundry detergent level sophistication fragrance. low key, short longevity. high price.
not for me, more for you! 🙂

I seem to be the odd one out… on me, this smells woody and chocolaty. The fresh phase is just some short-lasting top notes, while this dark chocolate and wood-phase is the lasting notes on me, and hang around for more than a whole day

In order to understand Rouge Bunny Rouge fragrances, at least the Fragrant Confection line (white bottles), you have to understand their makeup. They are known for their nuanced, exquisitely blended iridescent shades evoking an otherworldly aura. The Fragrant Confections line is an extension of that: nuanced, unique; simultaneously magical and in tune with nature.
I received a full bottle of Vespers for Christmas. I had put down my choices (I was actually only asking for samples) as Chatoyant, Vespers and Muse. They were out of Vespers samples so my mom chose that one for the full bottle and got samples of the others for me.
This is bright, sunny but more like dappled sunshine. A tartness from the bergamot and the green apples tints the floral stage. Like using an Instagram filter that oversaturates the colors unnaturally, yet ultimately makes the composition more beautiful. I don’t wear citrus fragrances, but the tartness is wonderful in this scent. Then there is the floral stage: it’s not a carefully cultivated garden, but a wild one, disorganized, natural, lush and welcoming. The flowers blend together for me as I am a novice. There’s more going on than just a bouquet of flowers, but I couldn’t tell you what. The dry down is warm, cozy, perhaps a little incense wafting in from somewhere. The stages seem like they wouldn’t go together: tart, floral, woodsy incense but everything flows beautifully together.
Overall, this is a gentle, surprising and thoroughly enjoyable romp in a secret garden. The journey is pleasant and daydreamy, unfolding at a leisurely pace.
For me this is a casual and energizing fragrance and as down to earth as I get. It’s still otherworldly enough that I like it, but has more ties to nature than I usually seek.

Great fragrance where memory plays a part…Vespers is the one! More modern twist but still divine memory of Byzance by Rochas. Those who enjoy a truly femmine and floral scent. Taking a walk in late Spring Garden under the apple blossomed trees, between roses and violets and lily of the valley at my feet. Smell of the warm light woods, soft but strong aromas of sandalwood and cinnamon bark, white pepper without the heavy sweetness

This definitely reminds me of a better (more complex) version of “Lovely”… I think it’s the muskiness of it… The more I smell “Vespers”, the more I like it. The “greenness” is definitely strong when smelled directly from the bottle but it fortunately doesn’t translate on my skin after a couple minutes.

This is an effervescent, tart fragrance. Ultra feminine wafts of green apple and violet leaf form the top notes on my skin, and are given a piquant sweetness by the cinnamon. Although apple and cinnamon are present, don’t worry- this doesn’t smell like a cozy bowl of oatmeal. This is a late afternoon romp through a hedgemaze- sprightly and sexy, in a careless way. Very very nice.
