it is an amazing men’s cologne, I didn’t get the citrus but the woody, lavender, fresh floral notes. It vaguely reminds me of Dior’s “Sauvage” (must be the soapy cleanness) but also has some more “ancient” undertones.
It is very persistent on my skin (7-8 hours) and has good projection without coming off as too strong. I absolutely LOVED it!

I don’t get much citrus or flower from L’Erbolario Verde. On me, it smells like a lavender-infused conventional men’s cologne with a peppery and sweet artemisia and woody undertone. In the late drydown after about 4 hours, there is also a prominent leathery labdanum joining in the concoction.
The sillage is moderate and longevity is around 8 hours. Personally I find it leaning towards masculine side. Verde has a cologne feeling, but at the same time, it smells much richer than a simple cologne. I actually think it adapts better in cooler seasons.
