Description

The new fragrance to complement pleasant and relaxed autumn days is Moment de Bonheur, which offers sophisticated floral freshness in strong and delicate way. This fragrance by Yves Rocher arrives on the market in September 2011.

The top notes of Moment de Bonheur incorporate a handful of luminous notes, greenery and spicy aromas. Spontaneity and freshness is depicted with green leaves and stems in the beginning of the composition, as an overture to rose notes blooming in the opulent heart of the composition. The heart accentuates rose buds which highlight femininity and softness of the perfume. The core of the fragrance is as smooth as satin, as pompous and elegant as silk. Base notes contribute to the depth with warm, earthy nuances of patchouli and woody cedar chords. The fragrance was created by Annick Menardo of Firmenich.

The roses in the heart of Moment de Bonheur are Rosa Centifolia from Grasse. They were picked in May and are valued as one of the most precious roses in the world. They are characteristic for very complex aromas.

The fragrance arrives in transparent glasses in very vivid colors—iridescent from green to pink, which reminds us of the changing green notes of the composition into silky and floral aromas. The perfume is light, sophisticated and skillfully balanced.

Moment de Bonheur can be obtained as 30 and 50 ml EDP, along with body milk 200 ml, shower gel 200 ml and deodorant 150 ml.

I am a Chloe addict lol. I LOVE all things Chloe. I heard this was a dupe so I ordered a mini on ebay. I got it a few mins ago and when I opened the package, the cap separated from the bottle somehow and then I dropped it. Now my kitchen floor smells just like CHLOE. I am super sad about this. What a disappointment.
What I can say is that from what i can smell from the spillage, it definitely is a Chloe dupe.

It is true that MDB is reminiscent of Chloe.
Only difference is that this one has ZERO staying power and Chloe up to 24 hours on me .

Roses, I love the smell of the roses!. In perfumes the rose is often a little to heavy and one dimensional for my taste. But in this blend the rose is just right! A green and a
bit spicy pink rose centered scent for daytime. I don’t use it often, but when I do its with great pleasure!

Its dupe for Chloe Signature EDP.
I feel the smell of rose in this smell intensely. Its very good for spring time with nice cute dresses.
I like it but Its not special for me.

I blind bought this, because the notes sounded amazing and fresh, but sadly there’s no rose, no patchouli and no green notes on my skin, only some sickly sweet honey-like smell. Honey with honey. Ew… This is not my cup of tea.

Fresh due to greens, also a bit spicy and woody. For almost all seasons and types of the weather.

It smells of rose quite nicely, but not great. There is a note I don’t like (too much patchouli probably), but it is not dominant, so I can wear this perfume in small dosage.
UPD. Today I layered it with a chocolate mono scent (Al Rehab Choco Musk spray), and it turned out really nice! It reminds me of some rose gourmand perfumes, but sharper due to patchouli and without the sweet syrupy feel to it.

This was my favorite perfume for a couple of years, because it has that perfect mix between rose notes and fresh notes that take away from the rose’s “heaviness”.

I love the grass and tree vibe from this.I prefer this over chloe.

I love Chloe and always have one, so I was curious and tried this one.I have to addmit that i agree with others,it is really similar to Chloe. In my country, 50ml of Chloe is only 10$ more expensive than Moment de Bohneour! So it is clear, I would never go for this one over the Chloe, which has really good sillage and longevity.

My nose and knowledge of scents is virtually nil, but I always have very definite opinions. This scent is so full-on rose that I cannot understand it to be anything else. I am clearly missing a lot of nuance, but oh well. A lovely bottle; the colors of the box – the intense pink and green- had me hopeful for a new land within, but for me this was a great disappointment. Lovely for some I’m sure, but for me the search for a perfect springtime green floral scent continues…

Clear and clean rose with cedar and additionals. Not complicated, but right in how it smells. Could be stronger and longer lasting, like most YR fragrances. It opens like a greener and more watery Chloe edp and develops into something similar to Versace Bright Crystal, like someone said below. Nothing wrong with those two perfumes, on the contrary. Just feels like I rather wear either of them than this even though it´s nice enough. I do like the vegetal/grassy green note in it and as far as I care it could have been pumped up significantly, just like is done in Penhaligon´s Peoneve. But hey, for its price this is a nice and more than decent spring rose. Not insipid, no gourmand aspects- just green and slightly woody rose with geranium and VERY delicate patch. Sadly, it seems to “fall in between”, so to speak- niche perfumistas would pass and mainstream perfumistas would find it too… simple, maybe and nowhere sweet enough (which I do like about it). I will use up my small bottle happily and maybe even layer it. Won´t repurchase.

First I don’t like it.green and peppery vegetable rose.bitter and earthy and manly.after ten minutes it changes to sweet feminin rose.natural and good.my friend says this is tea rose but I don’t know.it’s fresh but not very fresh because it’s warm and sweet, natural sweet and woody notes make it a little deep.I don’t like rose perfumes but I will keep this because it’s better than lots of very expensive nish rose perfumes I tried and it’s very cheap.it’s good to have at least one good rose perfume.I usually use it with other perfumes.there is no fruit or musk or vanilla or other flowers.so it’s interesting to mix it with other perfumes.longevity is 3,4 hours and not strong sillage

Awh this is beautifully delicate and so familiar at the same time. Yes, at first reminds me of Chloé,too, but then it becomes Versace Bright Crystal, only a tad sweeter, less crisp, but a really good alternative for half a price.

I had this and used my bottle of pretty fast. It’s a young and fresh rose scent, perfect for summer. Some rose perfumes smell like old fashioned soap to me, this doesn’t, it’s a fresh and juicy kind of rose. Maybe not the most unusual scent, but sometimes I think a nice floral fragrance is more appropriate than something dark, sexy or crazy.
Also you can get this for very little money, as usual for YR.
Before I bought Moment de Bonheur I had Especially Escada, I think they are similar to each other.

A glorious rose perfume, with an alluring green feel to it. Beautiful! Such lovely fresh rose, warm patchouli, earthy wood and green textured/garden smells. Silky soft and feminine. Gorgeous!!! And I just adore the bottle and the colours of the design!!! Stunning!!!

Very lovely fresh rose. “Friendly and energetic” if I one can say so. Similar to Chloe, as said below. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
A comment I received while wearing it was that it smelled like gasoline. Hahaha. I do not know how anyone can smell that!
I do like this scent a lot—not as much as Chloe since that one is a little more complex.

I love chloe edp and ungaro diva rose,so this one was a must try for me
Initial whiff is a rose soliflor,it’s all about a natural, fresh rose scent with a delicate sweetness but in seconds, green notes kick in and push my pretty rose aside
Green notes are not my thing but I can get along with them in most rosey scents because I like the natural crisp floral stem that they add to the fragrance,as they do in balenciaga florabotanica and l’artisan rose privee..but here I really don’t like them, there is too much of green notes on my skin…toooo herbal,it doesn’t remind floral stims,it reminds vegetables..thanks god this herbal phase doesn’t last for ever, soon rose comes back and only green note that remains is a light green tea which is very pleasant,I can’t get any cedar or patchouli, which is a pleasure, drydown is a combination of sweet, fresh, natural dewed rose petals, some earlgrey tea and a soft, warm musky base..this drydown parf, which is the longlasting phase,is very much like chloe edp but they are not dupes, they are differences too, yves rocher is more green, fresher and less musky, powdery and fruity,it’s also gentle, less bold and weaker than chloe
    I only have a small,cute 30mil bottle of moment de bonheur,so I can’t wear it often,but whenever I need a pretty rose soliflor I reach for it
Recommended to all rose lovers,if you are not a rose fan,it may not please you
Longevity and sillage are both moderate..it’s good for all ages, both young girls and ladies, who ever loves a fresh, clean rose in a green, honeyed base
    ❤❤❤❤

Smells like the last rose to blossom and the first to experience the rain and the cold breeze of autumn. Not as sweet as the ordinary floral/fruity rose scents that seem to be overripe and anxiously waiting for the bee to pollinate it. Yes, it indeed smells fresh even sharply green, but definitely with a simple, royal tone to it. In the ideal world it would be a day scent for a queen on the first cold August/September days to go on a tour through the villas and manors that are in ones ownership and meet the staff of those places. Simple enough to get the point across, royal enough to distinguish yourself among others. It is very lovely layered with some vanilla (Chopard Casmir e.g.) for the real autumn. It is the only purely rose perfume I own (not a big fan of roses, prefer the white florals). Pretty linear development for layering but suits for the minimal – i’m the only rose here – days.

Nice fresh and muscy. I feel there some notes of fresh ink on paper 🙂 and i like it.It’s remind me “bright crystal” versace.and “blooming bouquet of dior.
Very good longevity.not loud heavy roses -fresh and green smell.
    Not overpriced.

Even though I am not a huge rose fan (I actually hate it), this is a nice combination and it also brings some fresh, green notes along with the rose notes.
I have been complimented a lot while using this perfume, but it might be just a good skin/perfume chemistry. 🙂 I suggest you try it before you buy it.

  23. :

    3 out of 5

Well, it smelled completely different on a paper tester in catalogue, and in vivo…I sugest you don’t blind buy it, for sure. At least not if you’re not a crazy rose fan. I ordered it because to me it seemed deep, fresh and clean…I most certainly wasn’t expect it to be plain, and solo – rose. But when it came, and a actually smelled it, it was bam-straight rose. I couldn’t smell anything else. Except that flower bud. Pretty realistic, genuine rose.
I don’t think it’s unpleasant, or anything. It’s nice rosey scent. It lasts very long, and silage is pretty nice. For that price, if you’re into “roses”, u actually get a good quality fragrance. The problem is, i don’t like roses too much, so it’s just not that awesome to me…
I think it should be wear by ladies in their 30 s’ and early 40 s’. Not younger, or older than that.

This is the freshest, the greenest, the most beautiful rose scent that I have ever smelled (and I have smelled dozens and dozens). Very realistic, very close to a fresh rose growing in a rosebush in a garden, early in the morning, still wet with dew. There is nothing remotely sweet, “old-ladysh” or cloying about it. And the name suits it perfectly: this is, indeed, a hapiness and wellness booster. I just smell it, and my gloomy heart flutters in pleasure. The rose and the green notes are the most prominent smell: I can hardly detect the patchouli. I am prone to believe that, although they are not listed among the official notes, there is also some honeysuckle and lily of the valley. There is nothing remotely screechy, artificial or cheap in this extremely pretty scent.
The Eau de Toilette version, appeared a pair of years after, is not as good as the original, it’s heavier and duller and recalls some sort of air freshener.
The flacon is simple, yet chic and elegant, and at the same time, as cheerful and full of live as the perfume.
The pity is that this is stuff is really very weak. I have to drown myself in perfume, literally, to catch any whiff of it. About two hours later, and puting my nose directly on my arm, I can barely feel it. This could be solved, partialy, using the Eau the Parfum along with the deodorant spray, but, for reasons unknown for me, these “wise guys” of YR, have decided to discontinue it. I hope they will launch an “intense” Eau de Parfum, stronger and with bigger projection and lasting power. If not, I am considering to stop to buy this, beacuse I am really crossed with that YR mania of discontinuing products I love. And certainly I love Moment de Bonheur, but the lasting power and sillage are in fact almost nothing.
And yes, this is similar to Chloe, but greener, fresher, more botanical rose and less cosmetic. Another alternative could be Victorio y Lucchino Tentación de Rosas, which has a superior lasting power and a more watery smell -more like a rose shower gel-, not as green and round as MdB.

I always expect great price/quality from Yves Rocher and Moment de Bonheur proves to be no exception: it’s a very nice and pretty rose, definitely worth trying for any rose lover. Still, I’m not wild about it. It’s simple and straightforward, even a bit run-of-the-mill. That’s not bad in and of itself, but it’s also a bit synthetic, and nowhere near as lush and green as I had hoped looking at that note pyramid. Maybe it’s the patchouli that isn’t agreeing with me here; I don’t usually mind it if it’s not too dominant, which it isn’t here, but in this case it does seem to be adding a bit or sharpness or even sourness that I’m not crazy about.
Don’t get me wrong, all in all I do like this a lot – those little gripes I have are not what dominates the experience, it’s a nice and pretty rose through and through. It’s just that I’ve been sampling so many rose scents lately, some of them incredible, and that has probably spoiled this one a bit for me, making me expect too much. Do try it if you get the chance!

Definitely yes, I agree with THEMacgirl review. It does not long by itself. I also got the miniature bottle
This is definitely a petal soft pink rose. It is very believable!!! and I love it. It is fresh to my nose
The way I solved the longevity problem is using my Crabtree and Evelyn “Evelyn Rose” hand lotion and then I use this. It adds depth and longer wear. If you have a store close to you, the store will give you a little sample decanted pot of the cream. Dab on behind your ears or wrists and then use the Bonheur
If you live in the US, I can send you a little decanted pot as well so you can see the difference. Email me

I bought a 5 ML splash bottle of this for $5. Though it is a lovely fragrance, I find it too delicate to be practical.
The blast of fresh wet roses upon first application is a thrill, but I find it far too fleeting. I have reapplied twice more in the six hours I’ve been wearing it to reinforce it.
The dry-down is very nice and patchouli not overbearing of the cedar. I prefer Yves Rocher Quelques Notes d’Amour for rose fragrance with better silage and staying power.

  29. :

Moment du Bonheur might be a rose perfume but to me it has so much more than that. It has green after-the-rain notes as well as berry notes from the forest. It’s genuine and down to earth.

After reading different reviews I was curious if it’s similar to Chloe. I waited for many hours if it will be changing on my skin.. and yes, for me it’s VERY similar to Chloe, but after several days of using I must agree it’s not the same and I like Chloe definitely more…

  31. :

    4 out of 5

For the first 10 minutes, I could not find any similarities with Chloe. But the dry down does share some common notes. But I really don’t think it smells like chloe. Too rosy, not a fan. Don’t waste your money on this one if you want Chloe.

  32. :

    NOT CHLOE
    _______________________________________________________
I find the Chloe fragrances quite interesting and when I read that an Yves Roche fragrance matches the Nr. 1 Fragrance from Chloe, I thought I should try it out.
To be honest, I see the resemblance, but only a slight one. For the first 20 minutes or so, because afterwards the drydown of ‘Moment de Bonheur’ is long gone.
Overall: not my cup of tea
    Longetivity: – 1/10
    Sillage: huge!(for the first 20 minutes) – 9/10
All in all: 2 out of 10 points.

  33. :

This is such a pleasant, uncomplicated scent! I love the juicy rose and green notes. I like to wear it in spring and fall, especially on days when I’m feeling a bit blue. The name ‘Moment of happiness’ is perfect for this, and the colors of the bottle are perfectly chosen as well.
Lacks the soapiness and ‘coldness’ of Chloè, but the rose is similar.
The smell is very nostalgic to me, I don’t know why.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

I better still post my review, which sounds quite contrary to robot’s, not for sake of being “opinionated” of course, just got it for spring and was wearing during week every day
Its very bright juicy, slightly sour patch rose, perfectly resembles the green and pink colours of the bottle decor – green from stalks and leaves and pink from rose itself. Cheerful and loud, due to geranium in your face for first 10 minutes, then it stays on me for good 5 hours and more on clothes and since I love note of cedar – I really enjoy the drydown as well
Its really shocking to see comparisons with Chloe. as they are not even similar, but thats the irony, I suppose, of all these “votes”
So overall its a good shining springish fragrance, sparkly and optimistic.

  35. :

I like the perfume. Its a airy & refreshing. Its moderate lasting but sillage is soft. On my skin on application it gives the smell rose &on dry down mainly rose with a hint of cedar.

A fresh modern rose. This is almost a soliflore. I usually find these too fresh, but this is good. Reminds me a little of Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme.
I can’t wear Yves Rocher orange blossom well, so this is one of the best of their’s I’ve tested! The patchouli is by no means overpowering.
    Good sillage and lasting power.

  37. :

I used to think I hate florals but I think my nose is changing as I get older. These Rosy smells are winning me over. Soft and sweet. I don’t get sexy from this, but motherly (not in a bad way either) A comforting smell that I hope triggers happy memories for my children when they are older. Non offensive and pleasant. SFW.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Very longlasting, strong rosy scent and it’s exactly similar chloe.
But I don’t like the rose scent.

  39. :

    3 out of 5

I’m not a fan of this one and Yves Rocher generally, but I think that this one makes a good daytime scent with a pleasant smell, rosey and fresh. It’s a little screechy in the opening, then it melts and becomes softer. Easy wearable and feminine with decent longevity.
Edit: it never said to me: Chloè EdP. This YR is different is screechy whereas Chloè is fresh but mellow.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

I really like this scent. It is so airy, inoffensive, light and tea-rosy. Perfect. I don’t know about the similarity to Chloe, because I can’t remember how it smells but MdB doesn’t smell cheap and has not even single synthetic note.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

I love this thing. So cheap yet such a refined quality scent. I wanted to buy Keiko Mecheri’s Attar de roses(which IS a stunning rose perfume) but the longevity of the scent was so disappointing. I got this instead for a tenth the price and ten times the longevity and silage. It has some green notes keeping it from being cloying and too jammy but at the same time it has a sweetness and darkness to it (maybe the wood). If usually roses go sour on you or they are too jammy and cloying, this is the perfect compromise. Did I mention how cheap it is?:P

  42. :

    4 out of 5

I love this!! I remember it was launched in my country in autumn, and they recommended in the shop as an autumn scent. I don’t get it, for me it was pure spring.I asked the saleswoman about her experiences, but she said she didn’t like it, her hubby said it was like a sour wine on her skin . haha I liked the spray on my wrist so I took risk and bought it. It’s my favorite spring perfume. I like rose and green notes together. I just bought one today again, although I wont use it in winter but it was on sale and it will be great for spring. Love love love !

  43. :

    4 out of 5

I blind bought this and it was spot on! The bottle does it perfect justice: fresh, soft, green rose. It smells like spring! Like blooming roses! So pleasant and airy! Super office friendly and perfect for every day use. It’s quite a “day” scent, so don’t expect anything extravagant. Just a simple, nice fragrance that one can’t go wrong with. Love it.
Oh, and yes: it is Chloé’s poorer sister. Totally. If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, go for it.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

This is rosey green frag so the ones who have a thing for that kind of scents can’t really go wrong with this one. Similarity with Chloe is evident at the begining, both hitting quite strong on sharp green notes and rose. While MB stays quite linear and in the same rosey green tone untill it vanishes, Chloe has more sophisticated soft, powdery drydown.
I’d say MB is Chloe with sharp edges; primarily green and suitable for warmer climate, which I’m not so sure for musky Chloe as it tends to be quite heavy and irritating in hot weather. Chloe could be a wintery rose as far as I’m concerned.
Slightly better longevity and sillage with MB comparing to Chloe.
Both frags are fine for me, but would never (re)purchase. Not because I don’t like them, but the fact I’m not much into rosey frags in general.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

Fresh, clean, airy. A linear alternative to Chloe EDP. As pretty as the lychee in Chloe can be, other times I get an almost celery accord from the top notes. Moment de Bonheur, on the other hand, is fresh, temperate rose all the way through.
    I’m in like–almost love–with Moment de Bonheur.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

This perfume is exactly what I want to avoid when it comes to fragrances.
It may be affordable but the scent is also very cheap. The rose has a synthetic smell and overall this is a banal and cheap fragrance.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

One of few scents where the Cedarnotes doesn’t turn male’ish on my skin. I can smell most Cedar, Patchouli, green notes and a small hint of rose. Very nice every-day-scent.
En av få dofter där Cedernoten inte blir manlig på min hud. Jag känner mest Ceder, Patchouli, gröna noter och en aning av Ros. Mycket trevlig varje-dag-doft.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

I really do like this perfume. It’s perfect for spring with its bright pink-and-green glass bottle, which truly does evoke the scent it contains. Moment de Bonheur smells like fresh rose buds (the sort you put in tea) and, to my nose, cold, juicy green apples. It’s a wonderful pick-me-up in any season, but it really shines at first thaw.
It’s exam season over here, and I’m currently sitting in a library full of wooden desks that smell like cedar. It’s my place of comfort. This perfume is combining wonderfully with the cedar (because it has cedar as a base note!) and is carrying me through pages and pages of politics.
Today is also the first day I’ve been able to venture outside without a jacket on, and even though I occasionally wear Moment de Bonheur when it’s colder, it feels just right at this temperature. It’s like the rose has bloomed. Bonheur indeed!

From the description, I would love this perfume
Wearing it? This is my first perfume that smells bad. Very bad.
I guess I cannot wear green scents. Sigh. Had the making of a wonderful relationship.

  50. :

This perfume truly does its name justice. “Moment de bonheur”, meaning ” A Moment of Happiness” (although “bonheur” actually has more connotations than happiness – pleasure, luck, kindness, etc.) is a really fresh, uplifting, rosy perfume that makes a great choice for spring.
Instant breath of fresh air, better than your morning espresso.
It has a sparkly personality and it just makes you feel wonderful and pampered, as in early childhood.
    Goodbye, worries!

Moment de Bonheur is a simple, but lovely green rose fragrance, perfect for spring and summer. It’s very fresh, crisp and quite dry; like a cold spring morning, with soft, fragrant roses blooming in the first sunshine. I feel that there is something a little nostalgic about this fragrance; something that makes it smell almost vintage, but not overwhelmingly so – this is still quite easy to wear. It smells elegant, grown up, and incredibly romantic; very cold and dry, but inviting at the same time.
The composition of this fragrance is relatively linear. The opening reminds me of that in Chloe EDP, with a familiar sharp, and almost bitter-smelling rose. I find it a little overwhelming at first, but fortunately it quickly settles down into a pleasant, soft drydown, with prominent green accents and woodsy undertones. I have to admit, the rose in this is very well done. It smells incredibly genuine, just like real rose petals. Patchouli and cedarwood are quite refreshing, and dry as a bone; they add real depth and quality to the composition. There is absolutely nothing sweet or fruity about this scent. Just pure, straight-up rose, with a few supporting accords. Normally I like it when a fragrance has some sweet accents to balance things out, but Bonheur works well without any of that. It’s simple, but not boring; linear, but not flat. The projection is soft, with good longevity (up to six hours on skin). Overall, a lovely fragrance for spring; casual and approachable, yet very elegant and sophisticated.
Moment de Bonheur was gifted to me by a wonderful fragrantican, and I’d like to thank her for letting me enjoy this. ♥

I was really hoping for a bit less patchouli than I got from this one. Generally I really like scents with rose and cedar, and I don’t mind a little bit of patchouli, but it was more prominent than I care for. I was a bit disappointed.

My grandma has it and she’s not using it!:( I must ask her to give it to me, it’s so wonderful!:) It’s this type of perfume that always makes you feel good, no matter what. And when you have no idea what scent to wear today, this one is always a good idea!:-)

I find this scent very feminine and light. It reminds rose petals between freshly cut green leafs,no cheap sweetness and no vanilla. It’s very fresh with light bitterness.A good choice for a Young woman during spring days

Nice light floral bouquet fragrance with the noticeable green note.
Not bad, but I’m not impressed. Just nice.

To me, this perfume smells like a freshly sliced apple in the middle of a flowerfield. It’s very floral and green, pure and simple. It smells like something that came straight from nature, and while it is pleasant, it’s not a scent I would consider fitting for me. It’s a bit too linear and I usually prefer more sophisticated, mysterious fragrances, which this one is not. It reminds me of a bouquet of grass and freshly picked flowers on a sunny day.

I strangely don’t get the sweetness some people are talking about. I get a prominent rose, but in a lovely way and green notes. Although some would maybe associate it to spring or summer… Because of its freshness, I tend to lean more towards late summer and fall for this one. The green and flowers are “mature” like a late summer but yet fresh for a warm fall day. Yes a sunny fall day that’s it! It is chic and classic like a rose but carefree. It doesn’t feel synthetic to my nose either. I bought it when it just came out just after sniffing the sample I received in the mail. It was nostalgic for me. I couldn’t put my finger on it… But it took me to a comfortable place. I got the same feeling for “Comme une évidence”.

Not as green as I expected. Does anyone get lychee/litchi in the opening? It calms down to a lovely fragrance, like roses drenched in champagne. Just sweet enough for me! Longevity about 3-4hours on me with 2 spritzes. The bottle is handy enough to carry around for the day.

This is just lovely, it’s a very pretty soft green rose scent with a very distinct cedar note grounding it which I love. Quite a clean fragrance, very work friendly and versatile in general – a good staple in the floral category. The rose is gentle, though predominant, so I don’t think it’s only for rose lovers by any means.

this is a nice scent for spring. a very nice sweet rose, but not overly so. it reminds me somewhat of vera wang’s truly pink. I think I like this one a little bit better. reminds me of a very feminine pink rose. it’s a soft scent.. lasting about 2 hrs on me. nice.

If the month of may would have a name, then this must be Moment de bonheur.
Still, i’m not in love with it, i don’t even like it, i feel myself somekind of neutral with this perfume. I find it somehow sweet- not my tipe. Mediocre perfume. To me, Moment de bonheur it says nothing.

Smells like apple-candy, really sour geranium and a hint of tuberoses on me, and slightly chemical at that. Still…I had to buy another flacon after emptying my sample bottle…and what-do-you-know – I have actually bought AND used up another new bottle as well.
So…it has somewhat of the chemical smell that a lot of YR perfumes have, on my skin, but it makes a fruity, rosy, beautyful “blend-in” scent with other perfumes.
Blended with Secret d’essences Neroli and Comme Un Evidence EdP (all YR) it makes the perfect perfume! Not too heavy, powdery, ultrafeminine and a bit musky, the smell just layers right underneath my own smell soooo perfect.
Blended together with YR’s Un Matin Au Jardin-Rose, the man behind the food-store counter shone up like a sunshine and looked all startled, and called for me to come back, asked blushingly for the name of my perfume! True story!! He said stuttering that he wanted that for his wife. Felt like I was in a movie, surprised and a bit flattered, hee hee…

It smells rich. It smells so French. I like it but NOT as much as i love it. A lil bit expensive but not my type.

I have three YR perfumes Comme Une Evidence, So Elixir limited edition and this one and i must say, Moment de bonheur is my least favourite. It is pleasant, especially on a hot day, but that is all. It is unsophisticated, plain and safe for work.Period.

Lovely, lovely rose perfume. And what a strong rose at that! This is the first scent ever I could recognize rose in and thus it is somehow important to me. Made me fall in love with rose! I really like this.
The scent is linear, sweet strong rose. I can’t tell apart any green notes or patchouli, they are well hidden and the pretty flower gets to be the primadonna. Sadly, the scent mellows down fairly soon and then it’s not so strong anymore. Lasts a few hours like that on me.
I think that if you dislike rose, you should stay away from this: there’s not much more to see. Even for rose
