On the hunt for a new ‘thee Vanilla’ scent for me, got my sample today applied a dab on my arm, Sweet and sugary at first get a familiar smell reminiscent of another Vanilla scent I’ve tried before thinking almost either ‘Vanitas’ by Profumum Roma or perhaps maybe the ‘Vanille Absolu’ by Montale, It’s nice cupcakey vanilla frosting it’s sweet but not sickeningly, seems like its settles kind of quickly to almost a skin scent on me, perhaps I need a larger dose applied, not bad, not sure it’s thee Vanilla I’m looking for have to do a further test and see..

Wearing this next to Farmacia Vaniglia del Madagascar and I’ll start by saying that they are not alike. This one has a distinctive caramel which the other lacks. Overall, I’d say this is very nice, but not distinctive enough to warrant it’s price IMO. It’s quite light, meaning I must bring skin to nose to get a whiff. You couldn’t offend a soul with this one but given the profusion of wonderful vanillas that abound at a much lower price point, I’d look elsewhere.

What a sweet chemical vanilla fragrance. Its just too much but I had to test it. There is a woody element to it on me. It could have been sweeter I guess but it is borderline sickly sweet. Its much better after an hour. Moderate sillage and not much longevity.

What can I say? Like so many, I was on a vanilla quest. I sampled many but this one stuck. Yes, it helped that I could get 100mls for the same price as others that would give me half that, but it was more than that that brought me to my purchase of this. I love caramel as a note. It’s not strongly caramel-y here but it adds weight to the vanilla, just a little bit. And the orchid does add a floral vibe to the otherwise pure gourmand juice. Of course this is sweet and of course it is fluffy vanilla about to be made into a cake but the three notes together make it its own and just slightly different than others I smelled.
I do mostly wear it at home when I’m with my family cuddled up and home for the night. Or I layer it with a floral scent that needs something sweet to add interest and femininity to it. This perfume last around six hours on me and radiates to arms length. When I spray one last time before getting into bed, I can still smell it in the morning and it stays on my bathrobe for days, which I enjoy. The real success for me, out of all the factors though, has to be that my kids adore this smell on me. Each and every time I wear it they exclaim “oh mom you smell amazing!” and I’m sure to get a few more hugs than usual too! That in and of itself makes this a winner for me and puts this into the priceless category meaning I will replace my bottle whenever it runs dry. I’m happy to know there are already memories in the making!

This is a beautiful, delicious-smelling pure vanilla. I can’t get enough! Very similar to Tihota (and even maybe — sacrilege!– Outremer Vanille).

This is a gorgeous vanilla fragrance. It starts really sweet, really sugary and thick much like vanilla buttercream frosting. On my skin it doesn’t really change a lot but the vanilla shines through out. Every whiff I get is different but always delicious. Sometimes I get a deep, warm vanilla similar to tihota, sometimes I get a really buttery caramelly vanilla. Very cosy and enjoyable. The longevity and sillage of this fragrance is very impressive, more than 12 hours on skin, several days on fabric. Love it.

This scent is a dense vanilla with light hints of caramelly vanilla. It literally goes on thick too- you can feel it on the skin, oily.
It starts off very sweet vanilla and as it wears, while vanilla dominates the scent, the hints of a vanilla caramel come through. It is definitely yummy.
The caramel notes in it are NOT overpowering…they are not salty or buttery, but they are there lightly.
It is like a thick sweet vanilla batter being blended and someone down the hall is making smooth caramels and just the lightest scent wafts into the room with it.
Overall – a very nice thick sweet gourmand vanilla scent. It doesn’t change too much either. It almost reminds me of Tihota. The longevity is incredible too – like 12 + hours easy.

YUM! This smells like a perfectly baked Betty Crocker Yellow Cake: vanillic, buttery, sugary and caramelly. Vaniglia is a linear composition that doesn’t change at all on my skin from beginning to end, but it does smell absolutely delicious the entire time. A luscious gourmand. Thanks butterbean for the generous sample! <3 Sillage and longevity are impressive.

I was looking for another caramel perfume and the reviews mention caramel a lot. Not on me, it’s plain vanilla that has been sugared over, not a wisp of anything else. I’m glad I sampled first.

Deadidol.you have hit the nail on the head and thank you.i. received perfume by this by mistake.i ordered alexandro and was sent vaniglia.i decided to keep it even though i could smell the caramel and cloying burnt vanille before i opened the box.no orchid just caramel which i do not like.i thought id give it a chance.no develpment nothing.this could be right for a gormond lover who craves caramel and i adore tahota but this is a far cry .i .gave it to a friend who loves caramel and shes ecstatic.as for me this is not perfume something from the kitchen cupboard.i am waiting for the allezandro and i hope there will be an improvement.this is my first time with mazzorati..its been said before but spend your money on dupont vanille noir which i have.its better.no offence to mazzorati or anyone who loves vaniglia.its just not for me.

A sickening ethyl maltol and vanilla bomb opening with virtually no nuance whatsoever; it’s just loud sugar and caramel — seriously. There are no other recognizable notes. It takes about fifteen minutes to quiet down a bit, but even then it’s just maltol and vanilla. Although slightly less nose-destroying, this is very much a Bath & Body Works kind of fragrance. From the line that brought us the amazing Lui, this is shockingly poor.

If you love vanilla, you will be left speechless. I still can’t figure out how they did it, linear yet sophisticated, a masterpiece. The vanilla is sweet but NOT cloying at all (maybe it’s the caramel that keeps the vanilla tamed), quite powdery but not a sneezer, and the orchid in there, PERFECTION! it lasts a hilarious amount of time (I can say it is the most long lasting perfume in my collection, beating Alien and Angel) and the silage is more than average. It is SURREAL! and the price makes you smile:) ahhhhh, that moment when you find the holy grail of vanillas!
