    Sospiro Opera
by having the Sospiro Erba Pura I had very high expectation from this fragrance as long as it is very expensive too, around 300-400 $
the scent is luxurious but it is a little feminine to me.
it starts citrusy fruity with lots of ylang-ylang.
in the dry-down, the ylang-ylang fades but still noticeable. the nutmeg and fruity notes come at the top.
the overall scent is not as intense as Erba Pura but very subtle scent with almost beast mode performance. you will think the scent would fade away soon an not going to last on your skin or project at all. but it is opposite.
this is a more feminine, luxurious, yellow floral, fresh fruity scent
    Scent 8.5/10
    Longevity 8/10
    Sillage 7/10
    Price Worthy 5/10

At some point it is so much similar to Hypnose Lancome.

I used Ange ou demon for so many years…I was obsesed with it. Opera definitelly reminded me of Ange ou Demon (the first one, the “classic” one). But, at the same time, I can’t compare them. Opera is much stronger and persistent. Ange ou demon has a more flowery fruity scent, Opera has a somehow woody fruity scent. It is pretty expensive, but, for me, it’s really worth the money

Smells like cheap hair spray for ladies – revlon or L’Oréal… Come on…. Don’t you smell it? My grandma always sprayed hair with hair spray so I know it well. And they named it opera… If it’s Opera – it should be something very sophisticated extraordinary, flamboyant. To opera I will use Encense flamboyant, or Dia for men Amouage.

In late dry-down like 2 to 3 hours, it smells so much alike to Nuit d’Issey by Issey Miyake.
Very sophisticated scent, and I would say very masculine, but without a doubt a unisex.

Simply Gorgeous!! Something strange with this gem. First 15 – 30 minute I almost smell nothing on my skin. But after let’s say a full 30 min all the parts of my body where I spray it stars to smell amazing. Flowers, lots of flowers, white, yellow, a little rose, an amalgam so well blended. So, the perfume interacts with the body heat and reveals a magical aura around you. Literally you fell surrounded by this frag.
Very feminine, elegant, sensual and sexy. I dare to say that I only felt this way when I use my Clive C no 1. I have never thought that CC 1 which is my all time fav will might be dethroned or equalized. I know it’s expensive (well more human than CC 1) buy I had the chance to but it from Douglas with 25% blackfriday discount.
I know there are fruits in opening stage but I simply smell flowers,

I found this to be exceptionally good. Fruity, little vanillic, floral and slightly woodsy. This is an ultra gorgeous scent and the finest from Sospiro. Top notch quality of raw materials.

This had me almost crestfallen. The best notes, I don’t think I could even handpick them and what I got on applying my 1st spray was a terrible ‘neon candy’ ‘fruit laundry’ cloud, devoid of any clarity or sparkle.
What should have been refreshing, turned out a frankly ugly smog of cloying synthetic fruits and hints of,, mothballs??
The horror continued with the laundry vibe clinging on, the fruit I can only say resemble some fruit punch with an huge overdoes of those cheapo orange soda drinks mixed with bits of tutti and melon candy.
This is barely a patch to a worthy fruity scent like Bodicea’s Pure and nothing, totally nothing compared to Masterpieces of this terribly undereprsented genre in Niche: Enchanted forest, Cedrat boise and Aventus.
Very sad – I gave this house 1 last chance, and it hurled back even harder, abysmal!!
    My rating: 2/10.

Opera,… Hmmm, you’re not the first person to ask about it; yet you are the first person I’ll describe it too. After wearing Opera for 3days straight, I’ve come to realize “exclusiveness” simply cannot be associated with being the “best”. Though, exclusive can be recognized as unique. At this magnitude and skill level of perfumery one would really need to consider themselves’ to be an enthusiast and a connoisseur to fully appreciate the nature of this composition. Opera isn’t meant for those who enjoy spraying their wrist while frantically rushing to sniff out a bombastic olfactory cologne high… Think of Opera as being a well-crafted rich midnight navy-blue Flying Spur with the silkiest camel brown leather cockpit garnished with posh fuzzy floor mats. The quality is unquestionably superb, it’s powerful when it needs to be yet it’s very smooth and gentle, extremely acceptable for anytime of the day and any season, it doesn’t shout to be noticed, and best of all its exclusive. If Sospiro wanted to charge between $500 to $600 they could easily get it. You would be hard pressed to discover anything similar only other than its’ distant relative cousin Xerjoff Pikovaya Dama, and even then I totally appreciate Sospiro’s interpretation on modern elegance more than the previously mentioned. Opera’s opening is a subtle ylang-ylang white floral note accompanied by a cool glass bowl of freshly chopped banana, honeydew, peach and melon with nutmeg sprinkled on top which is blended gracefully yet is not sweet at all. After around 2hours a mysterious dark powdery Turkish rose with cedar note comes to life that helps enhance the overall beauty and character of the scent. This whole thing goes on for a longtime before the fragrance goes into the basenotes. Probably 4-5hours later after the initial first blast is when the Vetiver, patchouli, musk, and slight vanilla help support the magical performance. In total, the scent last a really long time on my skin… I noticed it to last around 10-11hours and though I didn’t feel it was strong like POAL or More Than Word this juice got me noticed almost 15feet away while sitting at my desk at work during the 6 to 7hour mark. Oh and trust me, people came by to greet me with warm big beautiful smiles and conversation which further confirmed I had just struck gold. In a world or Dior’s, Creed’s, Armani’s, Roja Dove’s, Xerjoff’s, and Tom Ford’s this creation of Sospiro Opera has fully earned my respect while making me feel welcomed to be in an exclusive club of few. Masterpiece on the highest level.

just acquired a small 12ml tester bottle of this perfume from ebay……initially I found it quite heady (maybe a bit too much so) but when it settled ..the woody smell became more noticeable..unlike a previous commenter I don’t think I find this particuarly masculine …..too intense.
I do like this perfume but not enough to pay the price it sells at….

I am VERY CURIOUS, needlessly curious why on Planet Jupiter this cologne is worth $405 (exclusive of shipping charges) in my country! Would this cologne features butterflies singing inside the flacon? Any idea please?

Very elegant, rich and long-lasting smell. Opening notes are immediately giving an atmosphere of theater, classical music, opera.. If spreyed on hair or clothes after 1 day it’s base note reminds Very Irresistable from Givanchy.

When I was a kid, I had to have a bunch of cavities filled. Before the dentist gave me the numbing shot, they put some fruity gel on my gums to try and make it less painful. The opening of this perfume zings me back to that moment. It smells like that supersweet numbing gel. After a couple minutes it dries down to be quite interesting – a nice strong cedar comes out, better balancing the fruitiness. To be honest I feel this leans more towards masculine than feminine – the cedar is the deciding factor, I would prefer to smell this on a man.

Opera opens with sweet fruity mix like a fruit cocktail topped with vanilla and ylang ylang flower. The Ylang Ylang is strong, in between the opening and dry down there is some noticable nutmeg. The scent change it in a bit floral – soapy to floral -sweet -fruity until the dry down which is still kind of floral fruity but there occur some woodsy notes. There are noticable cedar , vetiver and a hint of patchouly notes. More promissing in the last stage but still overpowering by its fruity floral note. This is an elegant scent but nothing special.
