This is very powdery on me with the floral notes adding depth and fullness…I keep catching the scent and then inhaling deeply because it’s really lovely…longevity is ok for a Jo Malone. This will be fun to play with and layer but does just fine on it’s own. Expensive but glad I bought it.

How unique perfumes works with body chemistry. I didnt smell creamy or milky tuberose. I smell very fresh, cut fresh tuberose bouquet, sharp and clean, a bit strong for me but i love it so much. The dry down is beautiful, i smell that creamy tuberose… wore it before bed.. And it last for hours until the next morning the smell still linger on me… 2 sprays for 12 hours last for me is a beast performance though it wont project across the hall.. Sillage is quite good, people 2-4 feets away from you will notice the scent.

How funny different body chemistry can enhance or change the smell of a fragrance. This one is rather synthetic and artificial on me with overwhelming floral notes, especially the angelica. It was too sweet on me and it gave tuberose a weird plastic smell. Sillage and longevity were enormous. I have many tuberose fragrances and they all perform beautifully on me, strangely enough, not this one. Unfortunately, to me, it is a strong pass and a scrubber.

This is truly beautiful. A light and airy (and, unexpectedly, very sexy) tuberose and angelica, interplaying in equal intensity- yes, the name is very accurate).
    Βut:
Like all Jo Malone fragrances on me, it does not last. Two hours maximum is all I can hope for, and that’s when I go very heavy on the application. While I do love it, and get compliments on it, this is the last Jo Malone scent I purchase. It was my final attempt with the brand. It was a costly experiment and I finally give up.

The smell of this scent is 100% up my street. I am a Tuberose nut and this is lovely Tuberose. Sadly the longevity and projection for the price isn’t up my street at all. Such a shame.

A successful blind buy for me. I own a few tuberose fragrances but with this one, I found it a light soapy, powdery musky, yet not overwhelming. The tuberose notes are softened by the Angelica and musky notes on the dry down with amber very light. Longevity weak but sillage is good. Great to wear in cooler weather day or night. I consider this a more safer tuberose fragrance. I find this similar to Kim Kardashian’s same name perfume which is tuberose-based and her scent creamy and warm, whereas Jo Malone’s Tuberose Angelica cologne intense is softer and lighter. I love it!

For a long time tuberose was my sworn enemy. Recently we made a pact to be kinder to each other, and I’ve started wearing some tuberose fragrances such as Madonna Truth or Dare, Carolina Herrera Good Girl and Gucci Bloom. True tuberose lovers probably find these too flat and unremarkable, but they suit me. So I decided to try Jo Malone Tuberose & Angelica, as yet another soft tuberose scent. Now, the problem with it is that is too soft, even for me, and absolutely not worth the money. It’s the safest tuberose ever, a total snooze fest, and for the price I would expect it to last for more than 2-3 hours.

I stopped to browse the Jo Malone counter a few days ago and upon striking up a conversation with the sales assistant regarding wedding day scents, she offered me a scented card spritzed with Tuberose Angelica from their Cologne Intense range.
I must admit that I don’t consider this fragrance to be ‘intense’ in any way. It’s rather subtle on the skin with a whisper of milky tuberose and dusty, sweet angelica. Personally I wouldn’t wear this fragrance as my wedding day scent as I find it difficult to smell, however I do understand its appeal.
Tuberose Angelica has a somewhat minimalist approach, and I am half tempted to blend this fragrance with other scents to see how this creamy white floral mixes with richer, woodsier aromas. On its own, Tuberose Angelica is pretty yet somewhat bland. It’s definitely no Fracas that’s for sure.
For those that have an aversion to tuberose, you might actually enjoy this fragrance. The tuberose note in this fragrance is significantly toned-down with all its indoles removed. It’s quite possibly the friendliest tuberose on the market today.

This cologne and French Lime Blossom are the only Jo Malone fragrances I love. Tuberose Angelica is such a beautiful scent. It is a soft milky feminine floral. I don’t see a man wearing this at all.
The tuberose is so natural, soft and not synthetic or sharp (like in other perfumes on the market). It is like flowers with creamy sweet milky goodness. I think any woman over 21 can feel beautiful and elegant wearing it.
It is really expensive though. It is supposed to be the intense version but I feel that after 4-5 hours of wear it is completely gone. Is it a beautiful fragrance? Definitely. If you can afford it without breaking the bank then go for it.

Tuberose Angelica is a clean tuberose that can easily be worn every day. It has a bit of the hypnotic white floral sweetness typical for this flower, but it’s not too heavy or heady and also has a lot of freshness.
The herbal, green, slightly dusty angelica note becomes stronger over time, even though it’s the top note. It makes the scent more grounded and down to earth, as far as this is possible for a tuberose scent.
I sense a tiny hint of fizzy amber in the background.
Compared to other tuberose and white flower fragrances this is drier. It’s creamy, but not THAT creamy.
For a very short time in the final drydown I get a bit of bubblegum sweetness.
Overall this is a lot of tuberose and not so much else.
The intensity and lasting power are average, it’s okay but could be a bit more.
I tested this because tuberose is my fave floral note and the bottle from the Poptastic edition looked so cute, but honestly I can’t justify to buy it. I already have an everyday clean tuberose fragrance (Kenzo Jeu d’Amour), and while they’re very different, I don’t need another atm. If you do, JM Tuberose Angelica is a good choice.

Tuberose Angelica is such a clean tuberose fragrance. Fairly approachable, not heavy, yet still delivering the beauty of the flower.
She’s a little stripped of anything dirty or lusty, but manages to be creamy-sexy with a warm undercurrent: a slight tinge of green peppery angelica and a flash of metal. I feel like there might even be a hint of a smooth, musky gardenia accord in here.
Jo Malone delivers a well-balanced tuberose that I feel is more versatile than most.

How many times have I dismissed Jo Malone fragrances opting for much stronger synthetic floral scents–a lot! But this delicious blend of tuberose and woods lured me in for a spray on a steamy, almost-summer afternoon. Let it settle for a bit and this beautiful floral warms up with creamy richness that makes you crave to get closer. There’s a true freshness in the Jo Malone creations and this one is simply lovely. Really happy I jumped in and purchased it. Also decided on the ultra-rich body cream to go with it! Ahhh, SO nice and really ups the staying power. Tried it all out last evening at our fav hangout and got so many compliments from friends–and strangers–that I believe it’s a keeper! Generally I prefer little heavier scents, but this intense version layered with the body cream holds up pretty well for a sexy date night scent. Think I only spritzed once all night from dinner to our tropical bar. New JM Fan!!

I am a bit of a romantic and nostalgic especially with choosing fragrances because I believe it bottles up time and emotions.
My partner and I at times would end up in a Jo Malone corner in duty free before we start a holiday. We pick a fragrance that we can share and use during the holiday, and before heading off to India we decided on this scent. I particularly wore this at night during our Indian holiday, the tuberose note mingled perfectly well with the sweet Jasmine scented summer breeze of India. The scent is not ‘heady’ (as long as you dont spray too much), both warm and cool enough to be worn on any season. The tuberose cools the scent while the amber gives warmth. This is definitely a unisex scent, and I love the bold and sexy depth it projects, noticeable but never overbearing.
This fragrance will always bring me to warm Indian summer nights…..romance and nostalgia bottled in a beautiful scent.

This is a dirty Fracas. It begins like a lady, buttery sweet, frilly manners. It ends with an over served, sweaty matron who’s hung out smoking and drinking too long. I love it!! To be both at once is majestic and requires talent. This scent has decent stay power, unlike many of the Malone experiments. Sample first, tuberose is not for the faint of heart.
EDIT: I bought the full size bottle. Love, love, love.

Now I know what angelica smells like, I guess. The tuberose-angelica combination is rather delightful. I probably wouldn’t walk around smelling like this, it is too lovely, but that’s just me.

This initially opens similarly to Fracas, but a bit warmer, less loud, distinctly Tuberose but also Angelica with some warmth. I found this–initially–more “wearable” because Fracas makes its presence known, and just keeps attending the party drinking and laughing hard, long after everyone else has left.
This one dries down to a creamier, rootier, less cloying, less “sweet” aspect of Fracas (which I really enjoy when I’m in the mood). As one reviewer said, this is “green” but it’s also a “warm green”–not fresh crunchy early morning green–but a hot day in the early morning, sun is out already, dew is off the grass but it’s still cool enough to enjoy the garden “green.” I like it and enjoy it more than other Jo Malones.
However, one aspect it shares with all of them is the longevity. Only a few of her colognes, special editions, last. Silage is adequate in this frag. The initial sprays may make you feel as if it’s going to be a BIG bomb (that tuberose), but because of the angelica it settles. I detect a musk in there; I only catch glimpses of it, but it seems as if there might be the same kind of musk in Narcisco and Lovely–down at the very core. One could wear this day-to-day and to the office. That big tuberose dies down to a pleasant, approachable scent. I think this might skew better on a woman than a man–but it’s up to each person/skin chemistry.

    For tuberose fans!
The tuberose is very buttery, and natural… The tuberose is a little grounded by the angelica which makes it a little bit more green.. I think it’s a scent that can be worn from day to night, but I would not say it is office friendly since tuberose is such a special flower…It is very unique!
Compared to the tuberose in fracas, I feel like fracas feels like a white tuberose, because of the white flowers, and Jo Malone’s version is the dark green or black tuberose.

Floral loveliness, smells like real flowers, lasts a long time on me. After a few hours it isn’t as complex but is still a pleasant tuberose. This is for when I’m in one of my “keep your chemicals away from me” moods. (My nose is extremely moody.)

PRO: WOW. Pleasant shOt of deliriousness
in the middle and darkness of Winter. CON:
has some manliness in here, a throatiness:/
that I don’t care for. On first whiff: YEAH!!!
A warm version of Fracas – a mellowed out
Fracas 😀 means I’m in heaven!! But there
is a “falling out” at the dry down:( This isn’t
only a warm or mellow Fracas but a rather
masculine version ):. Who wants a manly
    TUBEROSE perfume? The attempt alone
is like messing with nature! No :(. Peace

WOW!!! This is such a unique and amazing fragrance by Joe Malone!! I tried this fragrance at the Jo Malone store in Norwich and this one stood out from the rest of the collection. This was also the staffs favourite when trying the other scents on card ( which were ladies) But when I sprayed this on my skin it was even better!! most fragrances I have tried smell well on the card but don’t last on the skin. But this one is the opposite for me which made me really surprised how good this is. The smell has got a great combination of Angelica , tuberose floral which is not to sweet but just enough and the amber , woodsy notes give it a seductive masculine quality. It really is a hidden gem. But I don’t understand how this is a only a women fragrance this is really good for men too. not for all men but some like me who are big fragrance enthusiasts would understand especially when comparing this to the likes of blue de chanel and la unit de l’hoome this is better.
Its also very versatile it can work all seasons which is also great especially as this is an expensive fragrance. I would rarely say this about niche fragrances but i think this is worth it!! The only downside is the projection it stays close to the skin and the longevity is not as good as velvet rose and oud which is a shame
    Overall rating 9/10

I am sad, I just gave my review on Kim Kardashian, a very popular tuberose gardenia perfume, that I find quite boring.
This beauty however, only receives 11 reviews.
I know, I know,I can not comepare them due to the difference in both price and availability, but really, Kim wins?
Anyway, someeone wrote that Cologne Intense Tuberose Angelica is not among the greats, and I agree on that, but this is still a beautiful little gem, it is fresh and happy I would say a sparkeling tuberose, not to loud, or weak. I think Tuberose Angelica would be a perfect tuberose scent to wear on a hot summer day. I would cetainly want a bottle in my collection by next summer.

I love this fragrance! The sillage is great on me. I get at least 10 hours of sillage out of this fragrance. I am a heavy spritzer, but not ridiculously so. I am not as skilled in describing fragrances as some of the other reviewers on this site, but this fragrance is sexy and feminine without being overpowering. I receive several compliments daily. This will be pary of my permanent fragrance collection.

This is my third Jo Malone fragrance and I’m in LOVE with her line! The first one I picked up was Peony & Blush Suede, followed by Velvet Rose & Oud (also from the Cologne Intense line), but I have to say – this fragrance is really lovely. I feel it could be worn year-long because of all the great notes inside it!

This is a very straightforward tuberose but the reason I wanted to add my thoughts is that this is the longest lasting Jo Malone fragrance I’ve ever experience. I have been wearing it for 22 hours and while sillage is gone, it still smells true to the original scent. It’s not full of nuance but is a wonderful tuberose option.

I normally don’t like reviewing fragrances from a sample but this time I will.
The sample was great and the scent was fantastic. I love the smell of this fragrance. Its light, airy, crisp and wondrous like a an angel cake with perfect frosting.
Still its awful. It projected for 10-15 minutes and then lasted as a skin scent for 90 and was gone.
What is sad about this is that this is the “intense” version and you are supposed to be paying extra for a longer lasting fragrance. There are other Tuberose fragrances that compete nicely with this one and are a lot higher quality.
What angers me about this one is that Jo Malone charges extra for an intense version compared with the “normal” Tuberose version that’s stronger than this one.
All of Jo Malones fragrances are light but this one is pathetically light.
    My grades are thus:
Scent 95 out of 100 or A. (Really Quite Lovely)
Sillage 40 out of 100 or F–. (You have 15 minutes of projection)
Price / Value 15 of 100 or F—-. (You will need extra sprays to smell it)
Compliment Factor 50 out of 100 or F—-. (Better hope they come early)
Longevity 30 out of 100 or F—. (60 minutes and its a skin scent that you hope might last 90)
Miscellaneous … -20 on final grade. (Im docking this 20 points because its sold as being intense and its lighter than helium)
Overall grade 40 out of 100 or F–. (Beautiful but incredibly short lived for something sold as being intense for which you pay extra)
I would not repurchase this product and would grade it a strong avoid.
    …….
    Bottom Line
Its incredibly disappointing to see a Jo Malone marketed as being intense and having a longer life and improved performance and then failing so miserably at said goal. This is a fragrance that will fade on you before you make it to the car.
As much as I love Jo Malone this is just unacceptable garbage. Id strongly advise people to not spend extra to get her Intense version of Tuberose. In fact, Id advise them to look on Fragrantica in the note section for other Tuberose scents.
This fragrance is so disappointing that I might start to suggest the entire house and product line of Jo Malone be observed with a skeptical eye and perhaps avoided altogether which is a shame because I have other fragrances of hers that I like.
Sad to see a house with so little regard for its customers and fans that buy the product.
If this is her idea of an intense version of a fragrance the other products in her line are pretty much just water.
    What a shame.

this is fairly linear tuberose scent-I don’t smell anything BUT tuberose. Fortunately , I like white florals but if you don’t, I wouldn’t even bother.
Its green but warm and heady, yet clean-its nice but I was not bowled over.
The part that irritates me to no end is how short lived Jo Malone fragrances are-this is supposed to be “intense” version and it lasted about 1.5 hour, as mostly skin scent, after which not even a hint of scent remained.
On one hand, I am tempted to get it, but its not a “wow” scent to me and I don’t think its worth $155

Ι haven’t tried it yet….I love tuberose & intense perfumes….But a perfume named intense & tuberose having weak & soft sillage & longevity reviews makes me wonder about it…. Anyway, I have to try….

Sample test. Uplifting, light, fresh, herbaceous, floral-ish. Smells nice but real tuberose this is not, it’s not even there!! Linear and unchanging on me. This must be better layered with other JM’s.
JM, pleeeeease bring back the original Tuberose!

I liked this one, I usually can not stand tuberose fragrances like Beyond love by kilian and Fracas by Frederic Malle, but this one is very smooth tuberose not overwhelming at all nicely used, very nice, innocent, clean, soft perfume.

On me all I notice is angelica, but I like that, it’s herby, fresh, feminine and sharp. The scent of angelica just makes me feel happy 🙂

There are better tuberoses out there – not that I was trying to compare it to something like Fracas or Carnal Flower. I wasn’t. It’s a very pretty scent, but the thing about the Jo Malone line is that they’re all overpriced for what you get. Tuberose plays very well on my skin, though. My partner kept grabbing my wrists as we walked around, exclaiming, ‘This smells SO good!’ I didn’t mention that the first Juicy Couture was something that had inspired the same kind of reaction.
The tuberose here is quite realistic to me, more green than buttery, and it isn’t too sweet. I liked it, but definitely not enough to purchase. If you’re looking for white florals, particularly tuberoses, I’d opt for one of the many other options unless you’re attached to the brand clout or the look of the bottle. My personal favourites are Tubereuse Criminelle (after the menthol makes its exit), Juicy Couture, Carnal Flower, and Madonna’s Truth or Dare.
I prefer loud, potentially brash scents, too, so maybe that’s why this iteration didn’t click for me. It lasted four or five hours, but was a bit boring.
I read tuberose and expect lush… possibly dirty. I don’t expect something demure?

  32. :

I smelled this one, and it smells divine and with right combination, as a man I thought I could wear it, and also as a white floral loving man. Please try it. The tuberose is the most dominant note. Angelica is omni-present but tuberose has a power…
