I just have to counterbalance: I’ve been looking for a good camphorous (mentholated feeling) scent for a looong time. This is sheer delight, it put a huge smile on my face instantly.
While yes of course it has the eucalyptus menthol feel (a la Vick’s Vapor Rub) you can also tell it’s a perfume. I get a lovely woody note I haven’t yet put my finger on, and a green brightness that to my nose smells like it alternates between grapefruit zest and a very juicy (realistic) green apple. Perhaps the menthol tone is blinding some people’s noses to these other notes but trust me, they’re there and they’re a delight.
Also as I applied from my sample, the thickness of the liquid indicated that this has a pretty high concentration of oils in the mix, which is a good sign of quality/lasting. 🙂 #instalove

I don’t know if I smell anything but eucalyptus. Very sinus clearing, you could wear Vick’s Vapo Rub for much cheaper and get the same effect.

I like herbaceous scents, even the boldly so. But this was pretty awful.

Pampa Humeda (Destinos Collection): leaf, eucalyptus and rosemary. In the bottle, green, but strongly antiseptic. It reminds me of the odor of Green Soap and Iodine. Upon application, it is still disagreeably antiseptic from the eucalyptus, but a bit of sweet rosemary way down under tries to cut the edgy effect of eucalyptus that makes my upper lip curl. However, the rosemary fails. I detect NONE of the wind & rain effects alluded to in the promotional descriptions, though this mix is in sore need of some ozone and (gasp! Coming from me…) wild flowers. Tons of sillage in the first hour, then (thankfully) it shrinks close to the skin. Another wash-off. (from a recent sample collection of 18)
