When I smelled this at the store, I fell immediately in love – it was like no other perfume I had owned…unfortunately when I began wearing it on my skin, it did not have that same amazing scent. I believe it’s the mixture of the almond blossom that throws me off. I tried over and over to love it on my skin. I grew to despise it because when it settles on my skin it gets nauseating and sour. So disappointing. Even when I go back to smelling it in the bottle, I just can’t stand it’s smell anymore.

Holli said anise, I say pink pepper, which I don;t like because to me it smells like pencil shavings. Then that goes away and becomes a powdery floral. Really wanted to like this, will try again tomorrow and see.

From wearing, I expected to see anise as a note. Not sure which notes are giving me that impression? For a lighter scent, this is unique and long lasting. Lukewarm, soapy sandalwood. It reminds me a little of Marc Jacobs Blush without the fruits.

Trish, on my skin, starts with a soft, yet assertive tonka/amber blend. Next I feel something softly peppery, which I suspect is a masculine-leaning sandalwood, since I don’t see pepper of any sort listed in the notes. In an interesting turn, the lotus appears for me in the drydown. This lotus is as watery as could be expected, and a bit greener than usual, giving me the vague impression of green tea. Trish hovers airily about three inches from the skin, for several hours. Her perceived upside-down development (typical top notes emerging in the drydown) adds interest to whst is otherwise a safe, soothing choice for real-life wear.

This one opens very musky on me, but soon turns into a fresh almond blossom and sandalwood concoction on my skin. The amber and tonka add a rich sweetness, but overall this one is very light–not heavy at all. Don’t let that amber/tonka combo in the note matrix scare you away. This one is perfect for a spring or summer day. That almond blossom in it is divine!
I won’t lie, we bought this because my name is Trish. But still. I DO love it. 🙂

I own this and rarely wear it-I plan to change that as soon as I’m over my obsession with Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia.

LOVE it! This is a one of a kind fragrance that is not duplicated in any other form. It is Tonka Bean at it’s finest. Rich yet sophisticated. You can’t over spray. Great in any setting or any time of year. Love it by itself or layered with Trish McEvoy’s No.9 and also Sexy 9. All Trish’s fragrances are made with essential oils and are meant to be mix and matched.

Several times I almost gave up on this fragrance. Again, when I finally wore it alone, and I only have the small refillable bottle; I realized why I bought it in the first place. It’s different from what I usually wear and I like that. I can’t point out the notes, I haven’t learned how to do that yet… but over-all it’s quite lovely. Not a quiet fragrance, it stands out and lasts long. Very appropriate for office, every day, weekends, and all seasons!

I absolutely love this scent. It has a spicy fragarance and wears well.

Trish is so beautiful and easy to wear. It’s almost gourmand with all of the nutty, ambery notes, but then I think it’s more of a woody-floral. There is an aspect of cashmere on the dry down that smells almost salty. It’s very rich and warm, almost monotone as there aren’t many highs and lows thru out the scent. Just a feeling of peace and rest.
