This stuff is a surprising departure from many of the other Tommy Summer releases. It reminds me of two of my favorite discontinued fragrances: YSL Live Jazz and the original Tommy Bahama for men. The top notes are a refreshing blast of juniper and coriander (cilantro). And though they’re short-lived, they are distinctly reminiscent of Live Jazz. The drydown has a warm nutmeg/sandalwood base that feels like TB. The middle has a familiar 90s lavender-heavy vibe similar to Estee Lauder Pleasures for Men. Not entirely unique, but very pleasant and well-blended. And this 2015 version takes a welcome hiatus from the citrus/apple/ginger combo so dominant in previous years’ offerings.
