Smells expensive, like realistic vanilla and tobacco ,i’m still on the hunt for a sweet warm vanilla, because this isn’t it,this smells very masculine to me, if you are a guy maybe try spice bomb extreme instead , they have similar vibes but spice bomb extreme is cheaper and smells AMAZING too 🙂

Tobacco Vanille smells very different on skin than it does on a strip so definitely test this out on skin before you buy it!
I smell tobacco, vanilla, chai spices, and dried fruits which is all nice…but TV is also sugar bomb and becomes more synthetic and cloying over time. It also lasts forever and ever and ever.
It all became too much for me and scrubbing this off does not work.
This is definitely one to spray lightly!

    Quality sweet tabacco!
Interesting fragrance. It’s deep. Suitable for men and women both.
    I like it.

A list of things Tobacco Vanille smells like:
    -Vanilla Pipe Tobacco
-Inhaling a cigarette through your nose
    -Baked Goods
    -A spice rack
    -Vanilla extract
    -A dollar store candle
    -Chai Tea
People complain about fragrances being too synthetic and within the same breath complain about fragrances smelling like something too realistically.
    ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This is a really special scent for me.Smells like tobacco ,honey and later some delicate scent of Vanilla but really soft one.Its definitely an intense perfume ,not for everyone,I would prefer to smell this on a man.Longevity: I applied this morning (just to check the longevity,it’s a night perfume) and at night I took a shower and even after that I could still smell it.

To my nose, it is resinous honeyed tobacco. Yes, the vanilla is so thick and sweet that it comes off like honey. Some say that it is feminine and should be in a top vanilla fragrances list for the ladies (not men), but if you like cigars, this one melds really well with the smoke that clings to your clothing. In fact, in conjunction with cigar smoke, I prefer this over Pure Havane, however, Pure Havane is the superior honeyed tobacco on its own. The spices do add a warmth that isn’t present in many other tobacco fragrances, including Pure Havane and Tom Ford’s Tobacco Oud. Despite the divisiveness on many of these Private Blends, I prefer Tobacco Oud, which I don’t own but wish I did rather than Tobacco Vanille. That said, T.V. is far cozier than Tobacco Oud, probably just as wearable though (that is to say, very niche frag art).
The main beef with T.V. is just how resinous and sticky it is. It can be cloying even under the best conditions. I suggest going extremely light on the trigger and pair it with “smoking room” conditions (cigar sessions with drams of whiskey) in the colder months. Even for the ladies, spray it in the air and walk through it. Maybe add a light spray to the wrist and touch it to the other.
T.V. is an art piece that is worthy of its praises, but it takes some careful application to be practical. If you wield this power with expert poise, it can elevate your presence with charm and sophistication.

Sadly on me this is straight up cherry cough syrup. I lasted about an hour before I scrubbed it off.

This is a great fragrance ! It actually astounds me , and causes me to respect Tom Ford and his work.
I sampled two of his perfumes at Nordstroms and sprayed them on paper. Later I forgot that the paper samples were in my pants when I washed and dried them . When I found the test paper strips in the dryer , I was curious and sniffed them . I kid you not , the fragrance was completely recognizable! I could not believe how great they still smelled after gong through the washer and dryer!
Considering that I have been very disappointed recently with the quality of Samsara (by Guerlain), and Addict by Dior , I am leaning toward buying more from Tom Ford. Addict and Samsara were almost watery skin scents that are no better than Jessica Simpson .( At least Fancy Love can be smellled a few hours after spraying! )
I am saddened that some of the most reputable and historic perfumers seem out for a quick buck . And I will be heading back to Nordstrom’s for a Tom Ford purchase . At least the guy makes a lasting fragrance that makes the buyer not feel ripped off .

On my skin it smells like tobacco and pretty much nothing else. However, I seem to be amongst the minority on whom this does not last, I cannot smell it after an hour, although its not a big deal for me, cause I am not much attracted to it. For a tobacco fragrance, I would recommend Sospiro Wardsina.

I tested it today and i did not like it, and i dont understand why or how expensive it is, the starting scent is very strong which i did not like, then vanilla scent started to kick in after 10 minutes or so and became the dominant scent which i did not like either, reminded me of ice cream which was not good at all.
But it seems like people love it, and i can unserstand this as everything in this life is subjective.

Twenty Years of wearing fragrances and this one still is one of my favorites. It’s a delicious tobacco vanilla fragrance that is powdery, dry, sexy, and incredibly long lasting. This is one of the few fragrances I have ever applied that smelled WAY better four plus hours into the dry down. Sillage is fairly potent and this fragrance really only needs 2-3 sprays tops. Lasts around 20 hours on my skin. I find it to be a very sexy, long lasting, upscale fragrance that people will either love or hate. I have gotten some EXTREMELY negative feedback from this one (apparently some people the think the sillage smells like cookies on me) but also some positive remarks as well. The people that love this one LOVE this one. Mac Velvet Teddy is cheaper nice alternative to Tobacco Vanille but doesn’t really hold a candle in regards to this scent and performance. I really love this one!

Unfortunately, this is nothing but stewed fruits on me. Sweet and sour fruits. I can understand the comparison to cough syrup. Very sweet.

also chocolate, almond, cinnamon and other things.. vanilla in tobacco vanilla is so good because other ingredients do their job. I always prefer tonka bean.

    Gorgeous scent.
You’ll read lots of reviews, it doesn’t matter, its simply one of the top go to’s for a tobacco fragrance.
In simple terms its very heavy on the vanilla, tobacco thats a little dry and maybe smoked a tad and to my nose sultanas or currants (depending where you are from). A little rough but natural. On the dry down the fruit becomes more prominent. Awesome silage and longevity – the quality you expect for the price.
Having said that Parfum De Marly Herod is better IMO in every respect, smoother with Cinnamon rather than fruits and Tobacco that is just the right amount, like it is from a bag of fresh tobacco just opened and its completely linear.
    Happy Smelling!

While I have to agree that this is a popular, top quality, unique fragrance that many love, it simply isnt my favorite.
I personally find it too dark, heavy, and cloying to want to wear often. Maybe I would consider wearing it every now and then on a cold autumn or winter night. Having said that, this is not one I would recommend.
I strongly prefer Tuscan Leather and Oud Wood which are also relatively heavy, darker fragrances in the Tom Ford Private Blend.
Obviously this is just my personal taste, and I could see others loving and finding this one very special (which it is). It does have great performance and lasts long but it could rub people the wrong way. I think its worth you putting your nose on deciding but definitely not blind buy as it could be perceived as very strong and polarizing.

I went into this not knowing what to expect but knowing that I love every Tom Ford fragrance I try and this is one of his most well loved scents of all time, so how could I not try it? I ordered a 10ml decant.
First of all, tobacco and I have a very tricky relationship. I mean the perfume note, I don’t use any tobacco products in real life, and neither does anyone in my family for that matter. But in perfumery, I’ve noticed that most fragrances I test with a tobacco note tend to feel very masculine/butch to my nose. Like I could not wear them on my skin personally. I know many females that love wearing tobacco fragrances, but they feel out of place on me and I find myself wishing my fiance would take interest in fragrance so I could just pawn the lovely scents off on him.
I knew going in that this was considered all tobacco. But I also really adore vanilla, which is the other big chunk of this equation so I was thinking there was a big chance that this could really work out in my favor.
Upon first application, I noticed a very spicy scent hit my nose. It smells like cinnamon. Then the sweetness of vanilla comes through but it is very spice dominant. At first it smells like a vanilla rice pudding with cinnamon on top. Then as it wears on it begins to get more smoky. For some reason when I picture tobacco as a fragrance note I always imagine that it is supposed to invoke what you smell when you walk into a tobacco store and smell all the lovely cherry and vanilla aromas of sweet fresh unsmoked tobacco. But this is that tobacco that has been put in a pipe and smoked it (as the saying goes). I was thinking it was more like burning incense, but it could just as easily be burning tobacco.
I normally do not like the direction that this fragrance begins to take, which is Christmas Spice Candle. But this is the most luxurious expensive spice candle you can imagine burning. It has that touch of sweetness from the vanilla and a pudding like quality that I think is it’s saving grace. But I find that I could only wear this for probably a few hours tops. Which becomes a problem, because…
Just as I suspected this fragrance was atomic in it’s potency. I really enjoyed the scent but found myself growing a little nauseous after smelling it in close quarters for over an hour or so. I attempted to scrub myself several times in the shower to no avail. And this was one spray on the wrist mind you. I can’t even imagine what would’ve happened if I sprayed my neck. I never understood what people meant when they said they apply their fragrances on the backs of their knees or how any fragrance could be strong enough to warrant that distant of an application. I now can imagine exactly the type of scent that would serve that purpose well. I also think this fragrance might be scrumptious on a guy, but mine has little to no desire in wearing fragrance at all, and I think if I were to try and get him to wear one of this caliber he might run for the hills. (kidding)
I think this fragrance will really be better around the holidays or Christmas time when the weather gets cold because of it’s spicy dessert like qualities. And I will probably save my decant for that time of the year. I do not know if I would ever need to purchase a full bottle with the power that this fragrance holds, but if I decide that it is a love, I could see purchasing a larger decant.

Such an amazing scent! It smells extremely natural of vanilla and cloves and it lasts more than 24 hours!!! And it projects like crazy too. My boyfriend wears this as his signature scen. I do think it’s more fit for a man for any ocasion and a woman at night time at a date, club or anything sexy. It’s really really sexy on men and i prefere this on a man, but i sometimes steal some from my bf for certain ocasions. It’s a sweet vanilla with aromatic clove. It’s divine

i have been testing this for a week now. have a 10ml decant. i didn’t like it at first, and i do’t like it now. to my nose and on my skin,it smells like repellent. like doom repellent or raid. and my whole family hates it. it is so strong and a little sickening. has a clove smell in the opening which i find unbearable. i don’t hate it, but i don’t like it either.
    pass for me.

Here we go again….. I had a sniff on it and I’ve fallen in love with it, it is so particular and sweet, and it could be my signature fragrance.
It is strong and has a great longevity and changes time after time,at the beginning it recalled me of Mehares Erbolario, veeery spicy and tobacco is powerful, but after a couple of hours I can clearly detect sweet vanilla and tobacco is less strong.
It’s a unisex fragrance but IMO it’s very feminine and sexy, hot and cozy. It’s a fragrance for passionate women who like to be recalled.
    Sooo good ❤️
Update after 1week use: It’s an absolutely gorgeous fragrance unfortunately on my skin it lasts only 3/4 hours…. I think it’s beautiful but I’m not sure I am going to spend so much for it….
It’s a matter of skin: some fragrances are long lasting, some other not.
I suggest you to try it for some days before to buy,
    Ciao

There’s not much what to say here. This is unique and well blended, mature scent.
Cherry tobacco laying on a sweet vanilla blanket sprinkled with bitter dry cacao.
The opening is extremely heavy and overwhelming, but once the scents settles, you soon realize what is the hype about.
Great for cold weather, sweet, uncompromising.

It can be a classic and it can be sexy. It can also smell linear and artificial/synthetic to some noses.
Lots of fun memories of this one being my signature scent for a time. I’m not sure I’d buy it again though. I may not have a choice but to keep it in my collection.

This is wonderful it is harsh though. My friend pointed out that in the harsh spices there’s kind of a slight dish soap vibe. But that’s just a small nuance and association but I see what he means

I wore this twice from a sample and I don’t like it, maybe Tobacco is a note that do not agree with me. It makes me sick wearing it after a few minutes I want have a shower because this is very potent and stick to you like glue.

This is one of my all-time favourite fragrances. It opens up spicy and heavy on tobacco and as it dries down the sweet nuances make the scent a truly complex masterpiece. There is a heavy dose of smoky vanilla with facets of cocoa powder and dried fruits. Wonderfully refined and voluptuous!
    10/10. Perfect!

It’s a great fragance, when you wear it the sillage it’s a bomb and people smell around you asking for the fragance…What’s your perfum…??!!
The tobacco and vanilla is perfectly balanced. Tobacco Vanille is a warm, comforting scent. When I wear Tobacco Vanille I feel happy. There is no other fragrance like Tobacco Vanille.
    Well:
Tobacco Vanille is one of the best fragrances of all time. It lasts 24+ hours on my skin.

Love ❤️ combining Tobacco Vanille (TV) with other fragrances.
    September 2018
Great combo for fall. I’m enjoying layering experimentation with TV. Today it’s layered with Jo Malone’s Honeysuckle & Davana. I love how the TV works as a great base. It is heavy enough to act as the base or foundation for other lighter scents. The HD is more floral and I think it creates more facets. I love a complex fragrance. The HD is also complimenting the sweetness of the TV. The combo is still very sophisticated, could work day or night and feels very posh. And the combo laaaasts on my skin. Rather unique. I don’t like smelling like everyone else.
    August 2018
Wearing for summer: TV + Dior’s J’adore. TV low on body, like belly, J’adore around neck and wrists.

I never used to layer fragrances but started now as received it as a gift. This one is so thick and mostly smells to me like cloves first hour or two. So i layered it once under (haha) CH Men Prive and once over V&R Spicebomb. You can dislike my message, but I think I will not wear it separately.

Only a MAN (over 30) and a Womanly woman could love this. Masculine, better for a Man to wear. This is one the few Tom fords that lives up to its hype. Others are
    1. Noir De Noir, 2. Grey vetiver, 3. Italian Cypress, 4. Oud wood, 5. Costas Azzura ( A good fresh one), and 6. Sol Blanc(if your like yours fresher). These are the only ones worthy.

I have layered Tobacco Vanille over Patchouli Absolu and it’s the most beautiful combination. It’s a lot cooler today and I can feel Autumn in the air and this has been the perfect combination. This must be a good thing, I received 3 compliments today.

Don’t judge this good juice by the opening.. infact first 30 minutes while tobacco is strong can be judged bad! let pass the time and you will discover a delicious gourmand vanilla/cacao with a pepper touch! let tobacco to vanish! love it! 9/10

Smells like cloves! Didn’t like it.

  34. :

Oof! It could be the good old “it’s not you, it’s me” happening here. It could be that my skin does strange things with tobacco notes, but that was the only note that I could smell here (the same thing happened with Tauerville’s Vanilla Flash). Pure, unadulterated raw tobacco. Actually, scratch that – I’ve smelled tobacco as it was being harvested, and it smelled A LOT better than this.
To add insult to injury, Tobacco Vanille was so overwhelmingly powerful that I could TASTE it in the air – and that was from a single spritz from my sample. I can’t imagine how chewy this fragrance would be under normal circumstances!
To be honest, this perfume is horrible on my skin – I scrubbed it off shortly after application (much to my husband’s relief – he hated it as much as I did).
If you’re looking for a perfume that will leave people gagging in your wake, or avoiding you entirely, then this one is for you.
    As for me? HARD pass.

The scent of tobacco. So comforting. It reminds me of my grandfather sitting on the back porch on warm Autumn nights. Couple this with the scent of vanilla, and you have a beautiful scent that stays with you. Great silage.

Tobacco Vanille is supposed to be a unisex fragrance, but I honestly don’t care much for it on myself, its just a little too dense and sweet on a man. On my wife however it smells absolutely phenomenal. and has become her favorite fall/ winter scent. It smells like a fruity hookah smoke with a vanilla tobacco attar about it. Nuclear performance all around lasting easily 12+ hours on her skin with just a spray or two. I know it’s been reformulated but she doesn’t care, her bottle is from 2016 and it lasts and smells just fine to my nose. This has got to be the absolute sexiest cold weather fragrance on a woman that I’ve ever come across.

    Mostly vanilla with slight tobacco.

By now we have all come to the consensus that Tobacco Vanille is brilliant/mediocre/horrible (delete where appropriate). This being said, I’d like to briefly talk about a tangential issue concerning this fragrance, which is the following:
    tobacco (eng.) vanille (fr.)
What am I to make of this? How do I pronounce it? Switching accents halfway through is inadvisable, since even my friends from Nouvelle-Orléans choke on their Diet Coke whenever I correctly pronounce “Guerlain” in the middle of an English sentence. No, you have to commit to one only.
My first option is, then, to leave “vanille” as it’s supposed to be (French) and say the English word “tobacco” with an exaggerated Jean-Reno-style accent. However, I find it cumbersome to lug around the silk béret and fake moustache which are necessary to channel the appropriate level of pretentiousness.
Alternatively, you can follow TF’s marketing and pronounce the whole thing in English – like a clueless American tourist clutching his phrase book in a Parisian café (“Oooh ay le Starbucks?”), blissfully unaware of the savage beating the waiter is fantasising about behind his smile.
Perhaps this is all some grand œuvre de trollage – Mr. Ford snickering into his computer screen as he watches reviewers humiliate themselves trying to pronounce his fragrance names. If that’s the intent though, I suggest he take a page out of Hermès’ book and go all out. In this age of Youtube, Un Jardin en Méditerranée still ranks as the funniest fragrance I’ve ever come across.

Many people say they can’t find an occasion to wear this scent. That’s because it should be worn by rich people that dress well, that have a rich environment and don’t think too much about the scent itself, like normal people would put some generic CK on. I bet Tom Ford himself would even wear this during high heat and couldn’t care less about anyone’s opinion

  41. :

My absolute favorite Tom Ford!!! It’s very warm and mysterious!
I think this will be so much better in colder weather! At first I was like ooooh I don’t about this one! Then it settled and became so much creamier and sensuous on my skin! I know this would smell great on a man but I can’t help but love it on myself! Very impressive scent I just wish it lasted longer! It’s FB worthy but however I think it’s just too expensive!

I love it. I want to bathe in it. Buying it as we speak.
I smell like a teabag + vanilla for hours upon hours. It’s great. Utterly wearable. Not too sweet.
I also own Tihota and now feel like I have all my bases covered. Vanilla-wise, that is.
Edit: Crowd pleaser, for sure. The real “Fucking Fabulous”.

Smells feminine and horrible up close but awesome in the air. Up close it smells like a vanilla candle or a Cracker Barrel gift shop. If you really want to appreciate it, spray it on the back of someone else’s neck and follow them around

I have a few samples of Tom Ford’s fragrances from Luckyscent. I tried this one on and it smells really nice. Tobacco Vanille has very sweet candy smell, I could detect a tea smell, slight but nice tobacco smell. Kind of like black and mild smell. I would wear this at night going out to a nice restaurant. I would definitely like to own a bottle if it was a little less expensive.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

Tobacco Vanille is a technically brilliant fragrance, as are most Tom Fords. But it won’t please everyone, despite its best-seller status. In fact, it won’t even please all tobacco lovers or vanilla lovers. This is because the people involved at Tom Ford were aiming to correct the shortcomings of various other fragrances in this segment by taking a substituting spices disguised as tobacco. Often, these “cigars in a country club by the fireside” type fragrances are not able to sufficiently turn up the volume of the requisite notes to create sufficient impact. You can only add so much tobacco and smoke before things turn acrid, bitter and urinous. And when you do turn up the volume on the tobacco and smoke, your going to need a big dose of gourmand notes to soften the edges and reflect the plushness of these environments. So the people of Tom Ford set out to recreate the crunchy embers of this fantasy country club environment not by adding more tobacco, but by throwing in a hefty dose of big spices.. And rather than combining the spices with more vanilla, they have introduced dry fruits. The end result is very affective, until someone turns on the lights at closing time in the early hours of a Sunday morning and the staff move in to clean the mess before heading home.

Amazing. Strong, sensual, and masculine. My only complaint is really not the fault of the fragrance — this stuff is impossible to wear during the summertime as it is simply too cloying. But in the winter, god damn it is great. Good sillage and long lasting. 10/10.

I am freaking shocked when tested this TF at their counter because it is almost identical to my Bvlgari Man In Black. Just it get more vanilla smell on the drydown. Overall in term of quality & sillage i would say this TF is far better dan Bvlgari.

This is fantastic. A wonderful Tabacco fragrance. I get more honey and clove than vanilla but maybe It’s the fruits(dried fruits, dried peach?) vanilla and tonka that give it a honeyed tabacco vibe. Great for a winters night out. Lasts forever with the right amount of projection. This works well for mid 20’s and up but anyone with a suit can pull it off.

May 2017 batch here and the “beast mode projection” is not there anymore, at least for me. It still lasts a lot and I smelled the scent on my watch after like 3 days, but the projection is not there anymore, I have to spray it like 5 times

  56. :

This scent lives up to it’s name.. It is a non smoked tobacco smell such as a sweet tobacco you would find in one of those cigars like backwoods.. I just don’t think the scent is worth the price anymore being that they have scents out there that smell very similar to almost identical for much less money.. Hint hint.. mac perfumes.. hint hint.

I have eagerly been awaiting my TV, it arrived today, just 50ml, this scent is intoxicating for myself the combination is everything I wanted it and expected it to be.
Unfortunately I am not overly impressed with the longevity and projection after 4 hrs, it’s performance I feel is pitiful considering the price point. I don’t know if its a batch thing, I have B57 made in May 2017. Considering the reviews surrounding this being a “beast mode” operator, my experience with my batch leaves plenty to be desired. If you are into dark and spicy sweet as am I the scent measures up. I do feel deeply disappointed, I really did expect more from a performance perspective.

So far I haven’t had much luck with the Tom Ford brand. Except for the boozy yet beautiful Velvet Orchid, all the other TF fragrances turn horrible as soon as they touch my skin. I tested Tobacco Vanille in good faith – and again I was let down. The problem with this scent is that I can hardly detect any tobacco at all. Instead, all I get is an overly sweet, dense, syrupy vanilla, enhanced with some candied-fruity overtones and perhaps some honey. I can also identify something very bitter and aloofish in it – perhaps black pepper? (Tobacco it ain’t.) This gooey, mucky sweetness was so unpleasant to me that I had to scrub it off straight away. It’s like something crawled inside a jar of honey and died in there. The sillage is enormous – it sucks out all oxygen from the room! In terms of gender tags, this is marked as a ‘unisex’ fragrance, yet in my humble opinion it is too sweet even for women; and I can’t possibly imagine it on a man. Call me old-fashioned, but I definitely wouldn’t want my man to smell like this.

Simply unforgettable. This scent is a must for fragrance connoisseurs. Such a masterpiece!
Longevity on this is fantastic! This scent stayed on my skin for 3 days!!! yes. no need to re-apply 😉
Why do I say it’s a staple ? I work in business sales, I want attention I want to get all eyes on me. This scent is iconic, and attention grabbing – just what I need. In short, when I don’t feel like talking; the fragrance does the talking for me – it states “Success, confidence, and elegance”.
Ps: I no longer need to look for a gf, TF – Tobacco Vanille made it happen!
I love this stuff 😀 it’s my signature scent

To be honest, i add this one to any fragrance. Especially if i have mixed feelings about how a scent is performing. The tonka bean and the vanilla makes everything sweeter. While the tobacco gives it just enough kick to calm down anything overpowering. A light spritz on top seals the deal.
8/10 because its a “go to” and because it saves me when i need it to!

First: pepper and some “etheric oil”, resembles mild eucalyptus, but it’s not quite it?
… some vanille, and also hint/hunch of some spice used normally in cakes.
When dried, it’s of its own kind. The perfume is a sweetness, that I don’t need, because it’s not pretty enough. Not bad, but not good.
Not heavy, medium edP maybe. Sweetness obviously is from those dried fruits. Yes, after a while the scent is mostly those sweet dried fruits. (Small amount of tobacco mixed to those explains the not-pretty weirdness.) May be special, but not pretty. Rich. Sweet, warm.

No offense to anyone but I find this to be extremely cloying and nothing special. Its definitely high quality no doubt. The vanilla here is top notch but it’s so linear and thick. There is no change from the top to the drydown at all. This has rode the TF wave of success for awhile now but there are many other vanilla scents out there that are better at a third of the price.

It’s very good-i don’t get tobacco but only sweetness. I get mix of vanilla, honey and some spice. Niche quality, smells very natural. If you like sweet fragrances you shoud try.

A great fragrance, but I will be searching for something more.
I have heard that the tobacco is considered to harsh here, which got me to shy away from this. Maybe they are millennials that dislike tobacco. This fragrance is well blended and has a little bit more vanilla than tobacco.
I find this unisex and very appealing.
I am not sure If I love it over Serge lutens Cherugi.
Longevity is 6 hours with fair projections, but I need to test it around other people to see if it is more of a sleeper.

A mystical journey into the land of tobacco and vanilla. The initial blast on your skin is like diving into a sea of pure vanilla with a touch of tobacco. Then it evolves bringing out mild spice aroma, dried fruits, cloves and a pinch of cinnamon. The sillage is strong and the performance is extraordinary with 10+ hours of longevity. A wonderful unisex and refined winter perfume. It works like gravity, bringing people closer and not letting go.

Every time my fiancé wears this I go crazy and can’t stop sniffing him. He keeps this bottle at work. I think he’s just afraid I will finish it.
Sweet, but not overly sweet. Dry down is calm and not in your face kind.
Initial spray is intense and I can smell the smoke and vanille
Great longetivity but does stay close to body
