Got this fragrance today. such a beautiful scent.
The opening of this, is very ( almost 80 % ) similar to Stright to heaven from by Killian and after the 2-3 minutes the cedar note fades away and the sandalwood note comes forward and will become the dominant note.
very smooth and woody scent. Not kind of creamy sandalwood but high quility Scent for sure.
Another Good Fragrance form Zara.
Scent: 9/10
Longevity: 7.5 /10
Sillage: 6.5 / 10
Price: totally worth it if you find it under 25

Yes, Santal 33 and Tiveden do have a lot in common, though Santal 33 is a clear winner for me (as one might expect, looking at the prices for both).
Santal 33 has a more refined and more floral opening, whereas I think Tiveden’s opening is almost unpleasant because of a slight sour (almost ‘vomity’) note. Then towards the drydown, I feel Santal 33 is more ‘transparant’ and smells more naturally woody. The difference is pretty minor though.
As far as longevity goes, both perform fantastic!
For the money, I think Tiveden is absolutely brilliant. Excellent value!

Wow! was blown away by this one. very woodsy scent, like a forest, but with no pines. My favorite of the Zara Swedish line and the most long lasting. Great Longevity…outstanding sillage. There is a certain mustiness to it that may turn some people off, but it works for me. All around a good fragrance

This thing smells like sawdust and wood chippings, but when you cut a fresh tree trunk which still hasn’t dried. And this is the problem, it’s kind of one note for me. As far as projection and longevity go – my compliments. If this smell you like, I would recommend the buy as it’s cheap (but it doesn’t smell cheap) and in 100ml it’s a bulk that would last you a long time.

I think the drydown is simply gorgeous. If you put some hot spices and little bit oud say hi to TF – Santal Blush. Beautiful, creamy sandalwood and musk.
Anyone got SB, please compare the drydowns.
I sprayed yesterday on my wrist and now i can still smell (almost 11 hour ago). It loves my skin chemistry.
Not generic, not simple and not ordinary. Give a chance guys, truly.

Everyone and their dog is punting this as effectively a dupe of Santal 33 – which it isn’t, but it’s a/ damn close, b/ very pleasant in itself and c/ almost unbelievable value for money – currently on sale in the UK at one-TWELFTH of the price of the Le Labo.
Tiveden is much more syntheticky and one-dimensional, of course, but this is a really wearable, truly unisex, creamy, yet very very persistent straight sandalwood to me. For my personal taste it’s even a bit easier to deal with than Santal 33, which is a bit too punchy at the top end for me – just a little too much and too macho in some moments, whereas Tiveden is just consistent, mild, powdery and gentle throughout. Doesn’t really develop or change much and it’s not everlasting — tends to run out on me after 5-6h, but honestly, at this price, who cares?
Fair warning: one (male) tester I know said this made him smell of cucumber, which seems bizarre, and wasn’t welcome at the time. So your mileage may vary but it is very definitely worth a try.

I got two bottles and plan on wearing them often. It reminds me of paper, of clean spaces, of wood, of parquet flooring and associated smells like lacquer. Performance is nice, for a couple hours it’s working decently and the smell isn’t over the top in any way. It also remained on my skin overnight. Anyway, a very nice one.

Eau de parfum ??? Is it a joke???
Scent : 7/10
Longevity : less of 6 hours
Projection : 1/10 very close to skin
Могила – :
I really don’t like this scent!
Has a paper note or something that didn’t work for me.
I don’t recommend a blind buy!
But the performance is a beast mode!
If you are 35+ and you like something unique, maybe it will work for you.
For me, never again!

Undertones of the leathery and smoky notes
I popped into the ZARA shop before dinner one late evening, I saw the newbies from Swedish Collection, and I spritzed some of the Tiveden on just to test it, and for the rest of the night, I could not stop sniffing my wrist. It was masculine. It was tad feminine. It was smoky. It was woody. It was leathery. It was shapeshifting in my nostrils. It was elegant but edgy. It was sophisticated but down-to-earth. It was love, pure love.
Now that I’ve smelled the smoky-powdery-leathery vibes of ZARA Tiveden, I’m addicted. I’m taking solace that, because no one in my office wears it yet, I’m still kind of a special snowflake.
For one thing, despite the Swedish name, I find this to be a predominantly leather-focused scent, with a salty, green cucumbers or better pickles quality that is almost aquatic. It opens with a powerful blast of green cardamom, with its pungent yet elusive flavor, resinous and dark with hints of eucalyptus, sea salt, leather, and that aqueous herbal element. Perhaps, there is a tad of tarragon or drill in the headnotes, not listed on the official site.
What makes a fragrance intriguing is when it evokes a specific time, a certain place or a particular material while remaining elusively vague. ZARA Tiveden is intensely masculine: full of raw, oily leather and balsam, it makes me think of a lifestyle concept store – one of those deep-toned, white empty studio spaces where they place a tangle of parched white driftwood in one corner and a long leather couch in the other. Close your eyes, breath, and let your mind go in there…
Much later on, in the far drydown, there is the aroma of the raw and brusquely woods, and it is only then I see the reference to sandalwood. But, in general, this is dry and woody-leathery, not lactonic or sweet. The more I sniff it the more I get the astonishing smell of genuine leather exuding from a brand new handmade coat, belt, or pair of shoes.
It reminds me of books, too. In particular in the raw, harsh chemical breeze of salt, which ultimately comes off as a combination of freshly-tanned leather and newly-printed paper.
Oh man, no question about it. With superior performance to boot, this is another winning hand from the house of ZARA. Well played! Be sure to give it a chance before damning it after the first sniff – you might eventually enjoy it!
Ultimately, the smell lies on the masculine side and can be worn well in the fall. It’s a warm, woodlike smell that I found surprisingly identical to the way the forest smells after it rains. It captures the smell of damp earth, ferns, creek water, cedar, and wet leather.
At this point, it’s weird if someone doesn’t smell like Tiveden by ZARA!!!
Update: longevity and sillage are enormous. I’ve been wearing it since 8.00am, and after almost 7 hours it is still alive and kicking, and I do love it!

This EDP – Zara Tiveden – has a very singular scent.
It has a vibe similar to Santal 33 from Le Labo. They share almost all the notes, and that similar vibe is particulary evident with the leather/smoky/sandalwood notes devellopment.
Only tried it once and really want to try it a couple of times more. I’ll be back with an Edit.
The notes published by Zara are:
Cardamom – SandalWood – Leather – Musk
