Mancera’s Cedrat boise is not my usual kind of thing but I feel like it represents something worthwhile in my collection in terms of novelty value. It also makes me ponder about naturals vs synthetic ingredients since I don’t find it very natural smelling despite still thinking it is a high quality perfume.
First time I tried Cedrat boise it rubbed my nose the wrong way. It was akin to hearing white noise and it felt both overbearing and indistinct. The magic happened incidentally when the sleeve of my blue leather jacket caught the scent and it turned out that this is a scent that benefits from being stuck on fabric. The citrus seems to last forever this way and feels radiant and bright all the way through, softened by the creamy sandalwood and rounded up with the fruity notes.
What I feel more ambiguous about is the lack of natural complexity in the composition. The evolution of the scent is not very interesting and the development is fairly linear. There are no rough edges to speak of apart from the sharpness of the citrus and berry aroma. The citrus and fruits create no olfactory illusions of the real deal, the vanilla doesn’t resemble anything even semi edible and everything smells unnaturally sleek and polished. It almost does my head in when I still irrationally like it despite some ideological hangups. But in the end I think it is best not to have any dead set ideas of what I enjoy. I believe that is called close-mindedness and it is nice to have options.

I don’t know what to make of this one…i don’t like it much but I have a small bottle that I however use every now and then and I promptly get complimented as soon as I get under people. Absolutely unexpected and positiv Feedbacks right and left. If only I could get myself to like the scent…

Fruit salad opening veering into a more focused blackberry / black currant note. The drydown brings out some soft woods, vanilla and spice. Definitely not a bad fragrance at all and pretty versatile. But it feels like it is meant for a younger man than myself. Feels modern and trendy. Not really something I can see myself wear as a 40-something Executive either at work or hanging out around the house or with friends. I would say this ought to be worn by someone below the age of 29. Sillage is moderate at best and longevity seems moderate as well.

This is like aventus, with emphasized bittery cedar note, it is strong..
I expected to love this, i can only like it, specially for the price.

I might be crazy here, but I don’t get Aventus from this like a lot of others have suggested. This smells more like Insurrection Pure II than Aventus to me, but a higher quality one. It’s creamier and softer than Aventus. The Cedar makes it a tad spicy instead of smoky like Aventus. It is a soft-spoken cedar though, very refined. The fruits are center stage here. You will smell all of them and know what they are, but you cannot pinpoint any individual note. At least I cannot beside the blackcurrant. It’s a great fragrance though, I really like it. Even more so than Aventus.
I get around 8 hours with this one with a moderate projection for almost 3 hours and a good sillage trail that lasts almost the entire life of the fragrance. This is a fragrance you might not smell on yourself, but others will.
    Well done Mancera.

Disappointed… They should have written Cologne or Eau de Toilette on the bottle, instead of Eau de Parfum. It’s a very weak scent, you could tell that when your sniffing the noozle. It didn’t last on my skin more than 3 hours, with 1 hour projection, and believe me, I sprayed a lot. It can’t be compared with Aventus. I sprayed Aventus on a shirt and I put it back in the closet. I picked that shirt up after 3 weeks and the scent was still there. It has an amazing longevity comparing to CB. I will probably wear CB for few more times before swapping or selling it. It’s nothing to die for.
EDT: Smells like dish wash liquid with citrus aroma
EDT 2: Actually, I quite like it now. But I can’t see this being worn by a woman. I don’t know why it’s been promoted as a unisex perfume. It has a manly smokey vibe, especially in the dry down. It does remind me of Aventus. A lot of smokiness on my skin and that’s a good thing for me.

for my nose it’s sickening. for those who share my feelings there is a good alternative – Atelier cologne Cedre atlas

Fruit Loops. Fruity cereal, black leather and a heavy dose of vanilla. At least, that’s what I’m getting from this.
This is nothing like Aventus to me, aside from vanilla heavy batches I’ve smelled. For me to say that this smelled like Aventus, there would have to be a LOT more patchouli. This is its own scent in every way and not a clone of Aventus at all, in my opinion. Creamy, vanilla-lemon-black currant with a woody base. Because of that, this reminds me of Hanae Moori HM more so than Aventus.
Not a huge fan, personally, but it’s not bad. If you like the smell of Fruit Loops or Fruity Pebbles, you’ll like this. Longevity and projection aren’t all that on my oily skin, unfortunately. Others seem to get consistently better results, so your mileage may vary.

I hate to use the A word here, but this does have things in common with Aventus. I believe that it has a similar style as Aventus, but with different ingredients. They both share a blackcurrant note, but while Aventus is pineapple, birch, and musk, Cedrat Boisée has a fruity citrus, cedar, musk, and a gasoline /leather note like Dior Fahrenheit and Ferrari Uomo have. While Aventus can smack you in the face with its birchy smokiness, Cedrat Boisée smacks you with the fruited leather. It actually should have been called Cuir Fruitée.
At first I didn’t like it BECAUSE it had large similarities with Aventus, but I now really enjoy this scent. It definitely stands on its own, and I believe that it’s OK to own both this and Aventus.
Longevity and sillage on me is great.. About 10 hours and 4-6 hours with moderate sillage.
I blind bought this. And while I’m not totally immune to buyer’s blindness( or endowment effect) , I can admit when I’ve bought something awful. Cedrat Boisée is NOT awful… It is an excellent scent, and could make it into my top 5 scents.

It has some notes similar to the drydown of Aventus but does not come close to the complexity, longevity, or sillage of Aventus. It’s an OK scent, nothing special, not something that I would buy a full bottle of.

Reminds of aventus but more fruitier and woodier . Performance is great for this kind of scent . Excellent value for money

To me this is nothing really like Aventus trust me this is a much more unique deeper richer fragrance fruity powdery woody creamy I liked it so much I immediately bought a backup bottle.
Seriously good fragrance to have in your collection. I wouldn’t say its beast mode projection but definitely lasts all day with a good 4 to 6 sprays.

This reminds me of aventus/Zara vibrant leather EDP
But it’s smoother than aventus and longer lasting and garners far better compliments
It’s also much better value aswell

Way better than Aventus! I’m glad I gave this a try after reading the similarities between this and Aventus. I am not a Creed fan, and Aventus smells synthetic and metallic on me. Cedrat Boise is very well blended and balanced; I can smell all the notes coming through equally. I feel there is a little more musk and patchouli than the votes for notes indicate. Cedrat Boise is more subtle and elegant compared to Aventus’ “in your face” sillage. It is my second day of owning and wearing this. Overall, I am very happy to add this to my collection.

This is intoxicated but only in the most fabulous way – smells somehow similar to Aventus but it’s not a clone, it’s different, better, has more class, and is more affordable
It opens with a blast of fruits – the dry down gets more woody – obviously Edit : Cédrat = Agrume = Citrus in English – Bois = Wood – Boisé is adjective so will be wooded – so a free translation from French would be Wooded Citrus and not Wooded Cedar as in my Original post – which makes also more sense – Thanks Tlund in the post above to make this clear – 4 to 5 sprays keeps you well for 5 – 6 hours
in Google Translate : Cedrat Boise = Wooded Cedar but Cédrat Boisé = Wooded Citron – so with the translation with ” é “”accent aigu” is different than without the “accent aigu””e”

My Most complimented fragrance in my collection. You will definitely need more than two sprays. I would go 6-7 sprays on a cooler summer night and 3-5 in the day. 180 retail and when bought discounted you are truly getting a bang for your buck. Must have in any collection.

True it reminds aventus somehow . Plus boozines and more ambergris and woodsy notes.you’renot going to get that aventus opening (when you wear all home smells aventus) it projects soft and honestly I don’t understand the guys that say by 2 spray all day they’re fresh!!!! No big time!!! Please don’t tell lie to people and don’t show them wrong way!have to overspray if you want that performance! By 3/4 spray you will not get the powerhouse as some guys have written there. It’s smooth fragrance by average performance. Peace

One spray on each side of the neck works perfectly for me in hot summer. Class in a bottle. Since I have tried this for summer, I don’t care for the so called “aquatic” scents anymore – there is a vibe in Dylan Blue, Bleu de Chanel and Acqua Di Gio (including Profumo) that I can’t accept (sadly I own them all). They call it the “salty sea scent”, I call it pungent. The fruitier ones like Invictus Aqua (2016), A&F First Instinct, Virgin Island Water and Millisime Imperiale (all of which I also own) are much better to my nose, but in comparison to Cedrat Boise, their performance is weak.
Cedar Boise s the perfect summer scent for me if used lightly. Very uplifting and good for work or casual occasions. Two thumbs up and kudos to Mancera.

    Fruity Pebbles Cereal
Smells like Fruity Pebbles Cereal. Yes, this is a somewhat and inept review but that is what this fragrance smells like to me. Maybe slightly more refined. But Fruity Pebbles Cereal nonetheless.
Keep erasing my review of this scent 🙂
It won’t recover your money spent on what smells like fruity cereal 😉

I love this fragrance. I got in a sample set from Luckyscent. It has a nice scent with a tiny hint of cedar, with a little lemon behind it. Reminds me a bit of Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger for some reason. I haven’t worn in in 20 years but Cedrat Boise brought back the memory after I had been wearing it all day. I plan to buy a bottle when I can. I could see this being my daily fragrance.

CB is very individual and has nothing to compare with “Aventus”.I like it very much. Aventus owns its glory not for his quality but for the brand “Creed”.

  23. :

HEAVY HITTER beast of a sweet woody fragrance. Other than the first 5-10 seconds after spraying this on there is no aventus in this. You read all over the place that this smells like aventus when it doesnt at all. If you just smell the sprayer before spraying or right after spraying on a strip it will smell like it but other than that cedrat boise deserves so much more than the “another aventus clone” label it seems to get. This juice is in a whole other realm and it deserves its own “clones” if anything. This is a semi-sweet fruity woody scent that will make you feel like a million bucks. Performance is beast, ladies love it and for the price it is totally worth it. High quality from box to scent to the performance. If you like woody scents with a rich but young feel, and if you like fruity scents with a mature edge this is for you. Trust me

This is a beast. I diluted a 3 ml decant of this, ’cause I got bored with the scent, with about 7 ml of Leau d’Issey and the Issey Miyake drowned on it.

Came at this apprehensively at first, since there was so much disagreement about whether this was a clone or not
There is no disputing that the composition is similar to aventus and the smell is somewhat similar, but this is not a clone or adaptation. This is a different kind of animal.
This does not have the masculine oakmoss, smokey birch or bright pineapple of aventus.
What this does have is smooth resins, bright and sweet elderberries, some tonka, and maybe a tiny bit of iris. It has a complex and harmonious base of sandalwood, leather and resins.
I personally find this very pleasant and that it performs well with 6 to 8 hours and moderate to great projection and sillage.
The interesting thing is many people think this is for men and I find this unisex and even think it slightly feminine.
I would love to smell this on a confidant women and hope more women will try this out. I hope it becomes aventus for the ladies out there.
    A Masterpiece

Just got a sample of this and must admit I don’t get much Aventus from it either.
From my sample, the opening is powerful and quite a ‘smokey’ earthy smell to me. Sprayed on back of hand at (c) 7:30, took about 2 hours to dry down to very pleasant cedar, almost creamy.
I would say leaning more to the masculine side of unisex – my partner tried it and said it was way too masculine for her.
If you can live with the powerful opening, this stands on its own as a rather good Summer Scent – probably more evening than day, but could be pulled off in doors – say at the office.

Some people get Aventus in this and others don’t. It’s kind of funny how some people get upset over those calling this a clone of Aventus. Keep in mind, Aventus has released a number of batches, and most of those releases smell anywhere from a little different to almost like an entirely different fragrance. So if some people get Aventus in this, it could be because of the batch of Aventus they have. Of course, we all also smell notes differently, so that could be another reason why this might smell like Aventus to some people. Personally, I don’t get much Aventus in this at all except maybe the top notes for a minute or so.
One thing you can be sure of is this is a beast of a fragrance. One of the strongest summer citrus-based fragrances in my collection. With Aventus we all know some batches are weaker than others, and some are true powerhouses. With Cedrat there are no worries if you want beast mode performance. You are guaranteed one hell of a projection, and for some, it might be too much, so spray conservatively, especially if you are going to be indoors. Cedrat Boise is a citrus bomb with a gorgeous fruity and woody character with a touch of smoke to make it extremely interesting. Chances are you will never get bored of this composition because it changes frequently for hours on end. Gorgeous fragrance for gorgeous people… and not so gorgeous, like me.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

I wish people would quit bringing up ol’ Aventus, CB has nothing to do with trying to be Aventus or is it a clone of anything. I own Aventus as well and have never understood it’s hype. Not mind blowing to me, and the new batches are getting weaker. I love Cedrat Boise for what is, and it stands on it’s own. Mancera is a beast mode fragrance house. Creed is living off a name, and people love status symbols rather they suck or not. I will take Mancera every time.

  30. :

I have to add my two scents here.
This really is the best alternative, not replacement or clone, of aventus.
You get a similar feel, but this smells more full, insteady of citrusy, there is no smoke and is less macho without the oakmoss.
The Blackcurrant top lasts through the mid of the fragrance and adds to mellow the almost resous composition here.
Overall a real joy and unisex really.
I respect this but would rather have something more masculine, like pineapple vintage intense or the OG Aventus personally.

  31. :

    3 out of 5

This is my second review of this juice. It is a really great scent that everyone compares with Aventus and for good reason they are very very similar. I have a good decant of Aventus which I would say is more refined maybe, a little less harsh and in your face, slightly better balanced and more for evening or formal wear.
Great for Aventus of course but that said Cedrat Boise packs a massive punch where Aventus doesn’t. I have a physical job meeting customers and working on my feet all day and Cedrat Boise lasts all day long, im still smelling it when I get home. Its not subtle but for a strong day wear scent during the summer it’s knock out. Two sprays and i’m set. Aventus doesnt stack up like that at all and the decant I have now is a good batch, I have had bad. I need to try some more Mancera the quality is outstanding I think.

  32. :

Just bought this and wanted to love it more but my nose mostly get a slightly more refined CDNIM with a tad more woodiness.
Projects quite while and lasted long on the skin under hot weather.
Need a few more wearing and I might change my mind on it but for now, it’s nothing special. The crowd seems to love it though.
    Update:
I’ve come to accept that the sandalwood smell will be the signature of this fragrance. 12-14 sprays needed to last 3-4 hours outdoors for my seaside location with hot & humid weather. Won’t be buying a new bottle once I finish this one.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t care about it being Aventus clone or not and I smelt both and they are not alike, This one for its price tag and high quality is signature scent worthy- great longevity and silage. Fruity without being overdone.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

This is another fragrance that made me go WOW! from spray one. This is unique in a generic way. Definetely not an Aventus substitute, let alone being clone. This and Aventus both can be in your collection easy, and should be IMO. I can relate to all the people resembling Aventus on Cedrat Boise because the opening notes share same chemistry. Black currant and leather makes a difference from Aventus. That subtle sweetness is also something to praise on Cedrat Boise.
It’s like you take Aventus’ smokiness and fruits, mix it a little with Lalique L’insoumis and overlay with Cedar, like in CdG Wonderwood or Atkinson’s Big Bad Cedar. Very masculine, very slightly sweet all-year-round scent.
Performance is also VERY promising, and I think it just gets better as it dries down. Usually I don’t enjoy drydowns, but this one just gets better and better. It smells better also from a distance. Scent well done!

So I sampled this today and I was immediately familiar with the scent: This smells like a niche version of Aramis Havana. That’s what I’m getting from this and I like it!

  37. :

    5 out of 5

Never understood why this one got labeled as an “Aventus clone”. Yes it has that slightly familiar vibe running in the background, but this is different on so many levels.
To me the black currant is front and center from start to finish, strongly reminds me of an ejuice I had many years ago that was supposed to taste like black currant. Add that with a touch of the Aventus DNA in the background and you get Cedrat Boise. Not a good combo IMO, too synthetically sweet fruity and not enough like the Aventus DNA we all love.
Don’t get me wrong as I really enjoy fruity mens fragrances, it is one of my favorite genres. But this is not that, it is simply far too “jammy” and fake sweet smelling. I have had this fragrance for at least a year now, maybe longer. I often find that with many fragrances I can learn to appreciate them over time as my nose and sense of smell changes (even if I strongly dislike them at first). This is one of the fragrances that never seems to impress me and always smells unpleasant, even after going months and months without smelling/revisiting it.

Its a ok soft woody fragance with some dna note same as creed aventus but but buuuut not even close ..to creed just some note are the same This is NOT a aventus clone..And not ment to bee..
    Overall 5/10

Had it but just not my cup of tea. I get a lot of woods on my skin from the opening. Not as fruity as people say. Performance is good cause of the prominent woodsy notes I guess, lol. Never reached for it as it seemed like it was just woods with hints of fruit, linear and boring scent. 4/10
Also it smells nothing like Aventus. Aventus is waaay better, fruitier, smoother and more pleasant.

  40. :

    Sweet Lemon
    Creamy Sandalwood
    Vanilla Musk
Delicious fragrance on its own, and rather different than Aventus. All my coworkers loved the sample I got last year, and one ended up purchasing a bottle. This stuff lasts and projects moderate-to-heavy. It has a rich sillage which easily earns compliments in my experience.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

I honestly don’t see the resemblance to Aventus. Did I get a bad sample or something? It’s a semi-sweet, and vaguely tropical fruity fragrance with a light woody base that doesn’t change much throughout. The whole composition doesn’t really excite me at all. Wouldn’t consider a full bottle.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

So. This scent stands on it’s own, forget the comparisons. Signature scent worthy- great longevity and silage. Fruity without being overdone. For the more extroverted type, and will certainly get you lots of compliments!

  43. :

    3 out of 5

I wish this didn’t have the lemon or at least not so much of it. Completely kills it for me because other than that it’s fairly solid scent. If it was more of a sweet fruity and less of the citrus kind it would be a show stopper. This also smells better on clothes than skin for me. I’m waiting on a decant of Aoud lemon mint but I’m not holding my breath. So far I wouldn’t buy a single bottle from this house. Only good thing is the lasting power.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

Deffinitely next on my hit list.
I see why people compare to Aventus, especially top notes, even though it doesn’t have pineapple. It is however very far removed from being a clone and is a quality scent in its own right.
I don’t pick up any smokyness – its got a fruity top note and it dries down to a leathery and woody base. It’s very smooth – maybe vanilla and / cedar
Received several compliments after having tried it in a shop
UPDATE: Got it and love it. This, along with Pineapple Vintage Intense will be my signature scent/s.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

Yes it reminds me of aventus, but with lower quality and lower sillage. I have them both. Love them both. But they are not that similar. Aventus is better in every aspect, no doubt.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I’m going to have to agree with the camp of people that says this smells absolutely nothing like Creed’s iconic Aventus.
It’s a nice enough fragrance and generally pleasant, but I find it ultimately much too sweet. It’s really got a fruity chewing gum scent that is way too synthetic to be fully enjoyable. I could see how the sillage smells really nice but wearing it is honestly a bit off-putting due to a synthetic note that is just too much.
It’s a solid like from me, but with the collection I have right now, this isn’t one that I’ll be wearing a lot or be replacing once empty.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

I really don’t want to compare this to Aventus but I have to say that especially during the opening it did remind me of Aventus. I don’t know whether Cedrat Boise has changed over the years but after the opening it got really woody on my skin.
After an hour or so the fruits definitely took a step back and thus becoming more woody. Cedrat Boise smell good, but ultimately for me it’s nothing special. The performance was rather weak on my skin. This could be a nice signature scent though as it’s very versatile.
    5/10

  48. :

    4 out of 5

I am very glad I bought a sample and not a bottle.
It is fruity, and then fruity and fruity again-for ages.
And I see nothing elegant in smelling like a pineapple/banana/peach man.
I have felt very uncomfortable wearing it and it even gave me a headache after a few hours-which is rare!
I see no reason for comparing this to Aventus but for the first ten minutes.
I fail to understand how people can praise such a vulgar fragrance.
You can get a better juice for half the price, if you really feel the need to smell so commonly cheap and, to my nose, repulsive.
Oudmazing by Montale is much more refined and graceful than this.
I’m sorry, but that’s my opinion.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

Don’t you just hate it that EVERY fragrance with one or two notes similar to Aventus gets compared to Aventus?
There is absolutely NO resemblance between CB and Aventus. Yes, they share a few notes, but these are two totally different fragrances. Mancera does not do clones. So, do us all a favor and stop comparing them.
For me this is a very pungent, in-your-face, synthetic mess. I cannot understand why people like this.

  50. :

Cedar. Soft woods, soft cedar. Nailed down by a vanilla note. I am not getting ‘fruity’ from this. Perhaps a bit of leather. Very pleasant. Office-safe.

  51. :

    5 out of 5

This is better than Aventus (in my opinion). Its brighter, woodsier and a bit smokier. With all of the reformulated versions of Aventus out there, its gotten watered down since the 2010 to 2013 batches. Cedrat Boise is what Creed should have reformulated Aventus to be. Great job Mancera!!!

I tried this as a sample and now I finally know what everyone is talking about!
This is some seriously dreamy juice. I tend to not like most perfumes that are too masculine, such as ones that have too much pepper/spice, or leather, or cedar wood (or ones that lack any floral aspect)…This one, however, is a notable exception.
It’s very hard to describe, but the moment I smelled it, I thought ‘Ah! There it is’. A refined, elegant, luxurious smelling perfume that’s still masculine – it’s got fruit in it (and not citrus fruit either, which is the one fruit type male fragrances might deign to contain) but it’s somehow still very much a ‘male’ scent.
I might have smelled it before as it smells familiar, but I don’t think I run in circles where guys would wear something so high-end. I think it’s because it smells almost archetypal – it’s The Male Luxury Fragrance. To me it’s a fruity, slightly woodsy and leathery fragrance that’s so well-blended that I have trouble actually telling you individual notes – like Estee Lauder’s Intuition for Men, but better.
The projection is strong, I sprayed it on a piece of paper first and could still smell it a couple of feet away after a couple of hours. On my skin it projects more than an arm’s length for sure, and longevity is considerably above average.
I think I’ve shot myself in the foot here as now I really want to buy it. Welp!

The smokier aventus…i wud say its more like cdnim in the drydown with a lil touch of woodsiness

  54. :

    4 out of 5

I bought this based on the hype on YouTube and the reviews on here!
It’s a decent fragrance, but it’s not better than Black Gold or even Aoud Roses, at list on my opinion. It does smell nice, but in my humble opinion it’s overrated. I have a lemon dish washing liquid at home and this smells a lot like it (might start wearing that it’s cheaper lol, jk). Don’t get me wrong I do like it, but I don’t love it.
It does get compliments, but it’s not unique.
I’ll give it an 7.5 out of 10

Okay , The famous Cedrat Boise
First of all I do not see this fragrance appealing to be Unisex , it’s 100 % Men fragrance .
Beside that in the smelling I can’t see that it smell like creed avetus ,, okay smoky fruity perfume but it’s totally different ,
in my eyes creed is better in all ways ( my fav men fragrance )
but this one is good too, or actually really really good one ..
I love it and see it really sexy head turning perfume for a man .

To me, Cedrat Boise is fruity leathery creamy smoke. Think fruity sweet smokey shaving cream. Maybe even a little bit like the smell of sherbet ice cream, with a touch of smoke. This certainly does not go in the direction of Aventus. I bought a 5 ml decant of this based upon the hype, but I prefer much more fruity scents. Aventus itself even leans a little too much on the smokey side of things for me, including the fruitier batches. I myself prefer Pineapple Vintage Intense over this and Aventus.

Tried a sample from FragrancesLine.com. My girlfriend loves on me. It reminds me Creed Aventus a little bit. So now to get a larger bottle.

Long story short: a divine long lasting fragrance with a brutal projection (but not cloying at the same time). Fresh, fruity, sweet and leathery.
To all people searching for a cheap alternative to Aventus: This is not the way to go. While during the first 2 minutes some similarities may be noticed, Cedrat Bois stands on its own and develops in a totally different direction (I personally prefer Cedrat Bois).
My best blind buy so far.

The most complimented fragrance, by both women and men. Get a bottle if you like cedar.

I heard many people say it is similar to Aventus, at first sniff yes but after 5 seconds no!!! they are not similar at all. Aventus smells better and has better quality.
    scent: 7/10
    longevity: 6/10
    projection: 5/10

Better than aventus, and I own both. Its lighter, a little sweeter, and less smokier. I can detect the vanilla better on my skin than I can on clothes, but the vanilla gives me a waffle cone or ice cream shop vibe instead of the creamy vanilla of Aventus. Instead of pineapple, I get a dried fruits smell, but still has that opening sharpness very similar to Aventus. Lasts forever on clothes- probably wont be completely gone until you wash them.

This is an incredible fruity and woody frag. Leans more on the masculine side. This is no where near Aventus. Not even close. 2 totally different fragrances. Longevity and sillage are better with CB in my opinion. Both excellent fragrances but lets be real here

Someone mentioned “ old antique store”. Very true. It’s sandalwood
/leather that’s giving that old furniture vibe.
This is a scent that would suit a macho man with leather jacket and big sideburns.lol
I sprayed it 3 hours ago, going very strong.
How close to aventus? 70% for first 15 mins then 30% for the remainder of the life.
If you want aventus clone, this isn’t it.
Opening is breathtaking. In all seriousness, it’s heavenly. Then it’s becomes woody musky scent with very airy sandalwood.
If someone says it smells like aventus, they probably have never smelled aventus. Is it better, no. Is it worst, no. It’s just comparing apples to oranges.

I have owned this fragrance and Aventus for a couple of years now and they are not the same. I prefer Aventus over CB, although CB is a great fresh with no smoke smell. I just wish that CB lasted longer. My skin tends to keep a fragrance for a very long time, but for some reason this one is gone I about 2 to 3 hours. All of my other Mancera frags with regards to projecting off of my skin compared to CB. I just have to decant & re apply.
Would I purchase this again. No

    Wohoo, I have a tester.
First spray: I smell leather. And that’s about it. Let’s see how this developes…
24 hours later: Ok, I understand now why people love this. It’s a woody leathery scent. It’s simple, non-offensive and versatile. It’
