Description
After first edition which announced the collection TO BE by Police, two other perfumes were presented, one for men and one for women. The new fragrance for men from TO BE collection is The Illusionist , announced as modern and fresh fougere, while version for women, To Be Woman is created as a floral-fruity-musky edition.
Fragrance for men The Illusionist follows the theme of To Be collection characterized by skulls (bottle shape), darkness and mystery. Its composition is built around modern, fougere notes aimed at men who like seducing and fascinating other and are proud of their eccentric personality. Top notes introduce transparent aquatic accords enhanced with a citrusy union of Calabrian bergamot and green ivy notes. Long-lasting freshness gives a provocative effect to the composition. A heart includes powdery accords of iris combined with white cedar wrapped with sage veil. Base notes await us with a blend of cashmere wood with musk crystal, as well as the leathery accords of gentle musk.
Men’s edition The Illusionist is available as 40, 75, 125ml EDT and 150ml deo spray, 75ml deo stick, 400ml all over body shampoo.
The Illusionist was launched in 2012.

Yes it does smell like Ed Hardy skulls and roses And yes it does smell like Fierce and it does smell like Mont Blanc And I have to admit this is just a mediocre fragrance to me I expected so much more with the cool bottle And in my opinion it’s not as good as the previous types I’ve mentioned so I give this a 6.5….. Silage/ longevity Only a 5.0…Just a wee bit disappointed I wouldn’t buy it again

Well, it is cheap, but I smelled interesting ones from the Police To Be series. This is not one of the interesting ones.
Plain, a bit floral, boring, a bit fresh, it’s like one of those cheap lemon juice: you drink it and go “meh, I guess it’s lemon…”.
I know, for the price it’s nothing bad but, as I said, there are some really better alternatives from the same line.
If you like skulls that is.
I like them. My head would crumble without one.

For me it’s mostly Fierce (but more calm ant mature) with Mont blanc legend drydown. Nothing really original here, but well blended, for a great price.

This reminds me of gucci guilty without the citrusy notes. I prefer the illusionist.

It’s not going to win any awards for originality but if you want something inexpensive for spring or summer, office or casual wear this is a good choice.
I’d call it a safe blind buy overall mainly on price and it should appeal to those who like a simple fresh scent for everyday use. Most important thing to say about this is that it is head and shoulders better than it’s predecessor (Police – To Be).

Just got this, as I lack fresh and more light perfumes in my collection this suited me just perfectly. Very fresh and clear smell, highly recommended to those people that want something cheaper and still get a good perfume out of it.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. Very nice woodsy scent similar to Diesel or a little like Allure. I do not agree with the other reviewer, it lasts for a very long time. The water, cedar, & cashmere wood notes are the strongest. It is a perfect Autumn scent, but not so overpowering or heavy that it cannot be worn in August. I found it to be more appealing than most designer colognes. My husband is choosy about what he wears so after smelling close to 30 different scents I chose this one. He is very happy with it and has been wearing it everyday. I have to say it has a vava voom factor. Give it a try.

I bought this for my collection based on the bottle alone. I love the edgy design!!
Now to the fragrance…Almost non existence…it fades almost immediately after spraying and smells like any other generic male fragrances…soft to no silage.
Probably best for night time wear in summer before bed.

This is my input on this frag, it smells like a mature version of Curve for men. I honestly can say that it is a way better quality version of it as well and will outlast it any day. I can honestly consider this one a good blind buy. Just got it at Ross for about $18 for a 4.2oz. Not too bad lol

i want this, i still havent even tried the first one but with this one it seems like they actually put thought and creativity into the scent and campaign so it is a lot more appealing im very curious to try it out
