I was SO distraught after Dior discontinued Miss Dior Cherie (or, rather, started using the Cherie packaging for the older Miss Dior scent). Luckily, though, I came across Zara Textures: Water Lilly. It is so so similar to Miss Dior Cherie. I enjoy it so much that I am rationing it out (alternating with a few others).

Unfortunatelly, I can’t get any smell out of this. No matter how much I put on testing card or my skin, I just don’t get any scent.

This perfume is a invitation to the beach, to the summer days where you can lay yourself to the sand in your vacations. This is fresh air, sexy, summery, salty and blue… like the ocean. This smells aquatic, clean and sexy… salty and crispy. Total recommendation. This is sexier than light blue. Less sugary than mochino i love love, and totally delicious. By the way, this is not the most glamorous fragrance, this is just to enjoy your body chemistry with aquatic notes.
By the way, some people relate this to MDC (2005, version) but honestly, to me, it has noting to do.. this is lemony and beach like.

This is a clean, sweet and fresh fragrance perfect for warm months, not too interesting, but it’s inoffensive, inexpensive and very pleasant. I thought I smelled a fruity coconut note in it mixed with a green, watery note and a touch of citrus. Maybe it’s the pear and berries giving the coconut impression. It’s quite feminine and light but with moderate sillage. I prefer it to Light Blue as this is sweeter and prettier, a touch more aquatic, less citrus. I must say I was surprised that it even managed to last over 5 hours on my skin! 8 hours later and there is still a faint trace lingering on my wrist! This would be nice to use for everyday in place of more expensive frags. Quality-wise, it’s not bad at all, I might purchase.

i love it. smells a little bit like D&G Light Blue, so clean and fresh, optimistic with some lemon in it…definitely worth trying for the price of approx. 10 dollars/50ml
