Just bought this as a half-joke for someone who really likes G&T, and when we tried it… I loved it! Starts sharp and lemony but the dry down is surprisingly much warmer, apart from the lemon I don’t get any of the notes listed. I get something like patchouli on the dry down…
This smells like a man drinkin a Gin & Tonic, rather than the drink itsef.
I am going to buy it for my boyfriend and I will use it!

There’s a remarkable hand cream called ‘Weleda Skin Food’ that smells just like a freshly-stirred gin & tonic. I thought this was going to smell something like that — but I was wrong! ‘GT Man’ begins like fresh lemon gelato with the peel still in it. It’s fresh, and despite having the pineapple up there, is not overly sweet. Rather it has a spicy kick of something like caraway (but oh-so-lightly). I’m not one to categorize fragrances into age groups, but ‘GT Man’ does seem to be a young-at-heart scent, something you might wear to go out dancing, or strolling a city sidewalk at night.
So, no cocktail here, and since I don’t like Demeter’s ‘Gin and Tonic’, I suppose I’ll have to turn to the real thing! *sigh*
