Rose ta’if is very distinctive. This is the note but boosted with the rose geranium and peony which really brightens and lifts everything. Way better than the Perfumers Workshop TEA ROSE. Tea rose smells very different to ta’if. Why do people comment if they don’t know their roses!
The musk does its usual smoothing affect whilst the sandalwood is very low key.
I’ve tried Ormonde Jayne Rose Ta’if and Perris Monte Carlo Rose Ta’if to name but a couple and liked them but this is one I will go fb. The rose geranium is quite potent in this but I love it. If you want a low key rose fragrance then I wouldn’t bother trying this. This is for folk who aren’t shy and full of joie de vivre.
Good longevity and silage.

Obviously not a review, but Roge’ – thank you for using my favourite phrase “gag a maggot” and giving me a chuckle! 🙂

It gets my stamp of approval. Taif rose is compromised of 3 accords: Sour Citrus, Rose, and Powder. Nothing more, nothing less. There’s just as much geranium as there is rose. The sandalwood is definitely visible but not as pronounced as the aforementioned notes. As time passes, the amplification of sillage decreases but the accords remain the same. This stuff is powerful and will definitely gag a maggot. Be careful to not go overboard on sprays because someone will be destined to give you an earful.

This smells like Perfumer’s Workshop Tea Rose but it is a lot more expensive.
