Ha! Another rose. A beautiful, resinous and spicy rose.
The opening is sharp with big aldehydes and lots of resin. Or it could have been a thick, sweet jasmine cloud that mixed with the green notes. It was an unusual first sniff, not all zesty and sharp or fruity like other classics. Oh the rose, the rose…yum…it is like a thousand roses have been steeped in spicy resin. This has a deep, earthy note (must be the oakmoss) in there too. My nose is salivating…these older perfumes are the business (they are powerful and fill the room with scent, with just a small drop on the skin).
