It smells like you have been to heaven and back with a tropical angel on your shoulder.

This one starts off sweet with strong pineapple and coconut. After the dry down is when the fig comes in bringing in a woodsy tone just enough to even out the sweetness. On my skin the dry down translated into a tropical floral but a weighted floral.

I actually love this perfume and I tend to go towards the dark and sultry scents. Lovebirds is unique — I wouldn’t describe it as an overtly ‘fruity’ or ‘juicy’ smell at all. On my skin, it translates as a very peppery pineapple mixed with LOTS of green and an underlying hint of coconut. It actually smells very sexy to me in a more unique and amusing way, not in a seductive, sultry way. I wear this when I go dancing or when it’s hot and humid because it seems to cut through heavy air like a swift, refreshing breeze… hence the tropical appeal.

I agree with the above poster, that is where I purchased mine as well. It has a nice fruity, almost banana type of scent to it. Really nice for summer and the price is good too.

The sweetness you are talking about appeals me really much but the woodsiness doesn’t, as well as the weak lasting power.
Though I don’t agree about sweet notes and unelegance : the perfume doesn’t make the person, the person does make the perfume.
Perfumes are ageless : whether you are 16 and wear
“N°5” or whether you are 40 and wear “Pink Sugar”, what matters is not the fragrance, it is the person ! 🙂

This is a lovely sweet juice that’s not too cloying for summer days. I personally find it very sweet on my skin, the vanilla is a very sweet vanilla but it is also smooth and rounded out beautifully with sweet coconut and a hint of fig, which is the green, woodsiness ilovesmells woud be smelling 🙂 I can’t detect any pineapple, but that’s ok with me.
I personally think that this would suit younger girls just fine, I think this is somewhat too sweet for anyone over 30 or so, or anyone who wants to convey sophistication through their scent. I like this alot and may in fact buy a bottle, it’s just more of a fun/sweet scent than elegant one. It fades quickly 🙁

It’s a pity that it’s not long-lasting.
And I expected it to be more sugary.
