Wearing #113 right now, and it’s a dead ringer of Prada Candy — one of my favorites 🙂 Enjoying this (slightly sweeter) version very much.

Alone, each of these vials falls flat. The names sound as if they would be a gourmand lovers delight, whether alone or mixed together, but either way, the experiment just doesn’t work. It truly bombs.
#113 lacks any sense of vanilla orchid, there is absolutely no tempting floral and the honeyed cocoa is bitter, dark and brutal.
#114 Tonka Bean & Amber comes across smelling as fish, as in dead fish on ice at an open-air market. I truly cannot understand how these notes can smell this way. Another SA actually remarked to me that she thought one of the vials smelled like dead fish but couldn’t tell me which one. Now I know, unfortunately.
#115 is the sweetest, if you like synthetic sweet smells. There is nothing here to remind you of actual Sugared Creme or Fennel.
Put the three together and you have a very strange sweetness that you would have to believe is chock full of chemicals. It just doesn’t remind the senses of anything delicious as a vanilla perfume should. There is no resemblance to buttercream frosting. It’s not cozy or comforting, but more on the unsettling side.
Nice idea, ingenious presentation with 6 nifty vials to tuck away with you, but alas, they just don’t smell good alone and together? They’re a chemically created vanilla concoction that makes you wonder if it’s hiding behind the Febreeze in the car.

The presentation is incredibly detailed like most of this lines perfumes. Brown box with an internal slide and 6 small spray vials. Brief intro with scent notes. Sugared Créme Fennel makes me think of the foam skimmed off the top of a blended coffee drink. A bit sweet, definite milk, and something else…must be fennel? Vanilla Orchid Honeyed Cocoa is somehow soapy for me but vanilla and floral all at the same time. Tonka Bean Sweet Amber is vaguely like root beer on me. Something medicinal but pleasant.
I have not mixed them all together for the grand finale but it looks promising so far.

113 – Vanilla Orchid & Honeyed Cocoa
I get very little of the cocoa. I think the orchid note is most prominent. This has a sort of frothy, almost dish soap-like scent on me.
114 – Tonka Bean & Sweet Amber
This comes off smelling like root beer on my skin. Not bad, really.
115 – Sugared Creme & Fennel
I get rich, salty-sweet buttercream with a touch of fennel. Of the three, it’s the one I’d be most likely to wear on its own.
Individually none of these are my favourite, but on me at least, they really do work when you put them all together. They meld into a good, sweet gourmand – like an understated cupcake topped with buttercream, maybe with a dash of liqueur, and crunchy decorators’ sugar. Works for me.

I bought this thinking it would be perfect, because I love sweet vanilla-y scents.
But I kind of really don’t like this. Maybe it just doesn’t work on me though. I don’t know.
For some reason, at least one of the three scents smells fishy on me…yuck.
One of the three scents includes fennel….and I can definitely smell the fennel when I wear this…I don’t really want to smell like fennel….ew…
It just didn’t work on me. I really regret buying it. Good concept, just not executed so well.
