Description

A seductive accessory. Before getting dressed each morning, every woman selects the secret, hidden wardrobe that discreetly defines her mood—her lingerie. Taking inspiration from this deeply personal and intensely feminine moment, Stella McCartney developed a new interpretation of her signature fragrance—STELLA NUDE.

A natural extension of the Stella McCartney Lingerie Collection, STELLA NUDE represents the first accessory every woman puts on her bare skin when getting dressed. Evoking the delicacy and femininity of Stella McCartney lingerie, STELLA NUDE reimagines the classic rose blossom to create a more intimate moment. The fragrance opens with the sensual scents of Moroccan Rose, infused with a fresh hint of grapefruit. As the fragrance reveals itself on the skin, floral heart notes of tender white peony bloom. The striking, feminine scent is invigorated with a spicy hint of pink pepper. STELLANUDE’s dry notes of Ugandan vanilla and intriguing Grey Amber combine to create a seductive base. The fragrance illuminates subtle notes found in Stella, bringing the delicate scent to life in an intimate new way.

In addition to an Eau de Toilette, STELLANUDE is available as a linen mist, allowing every woman to infuse the nude scent into her most intimate surroundings. From crisp sheets to silk slips, the mist gives any fabric the bare allure of lingerie. “I love the idea of walking through a scented mist in your lingerie,” Stella divulges. “It’s quite a cheeky, intimate way to start the day, and it’s refreshing not spraying a scent directly on your skin.”

STELLANUDE is enclosed in a pretty pink slip case, echoing the seduction of delicate lingerie. When undressed, the vintage-inspired bottle reveals contrasting transparent and nude pink panels, implying the juxtaposition of concealed flesh against the bare skin.

Stella Nude comes in 1.0oz, 1.6oz, , 3.4oz, and as Linen Scented Mist 4.2oz. Stella Nude was launched in 2009.

Sheer Stella 2006 and this are my two faves from SMC, but I think all bottles are adorable..Most Stellas move along the same line of scent really, but these two are probably the ones that stay closest to my skin. Rose, citrus, peony, anber – nothing complicated, but well-blended and long-lasting. Love.

For all roses lovers you have to try that one! The combination of roses and lemon gives to that fragrance a life! This rose is beautiful, fresh, wet, it last very long lasting and doesn’t change the character. It is clean, comforting, easy to wear, gorgeous for warmer days. Doesn’t give a headache, good for an office. It makes me feel happy!

Blind buy – just because it’s on sale in my country . I do like it ! It’s a softened version of the edp , it lacks of a bitterness that can be found in the original one 🙂 very pure, soft and gentle rosy scent ( I mean really gentle ) , however it lasts for about 2 hours , then it’s gone. Oh why ..

    I blame myself entirely.
I was lured by the prettiness of the bottle (I’m a sucker for ANYTHING in beiges and nudes) and my experience with the original Stella (which I adore). Also, I don’t normally make rational decisions around perfume.
Were it not for all this, I would have KNOWN that Nude is an EDT, and that it’s SUPPOSED to smell like almost-nothing.
For some reason the appearance of the bottle (knowing what Stella orig smells like) made me think it would be a sexier, muskier rose. It’s not. It’s a lighter, airier rose that doesn’t really even smell like perfume at all. It smells like… perfume-adjacent. Like, you had Stella Original on YESTERDAY and it’s still lingering a little bit. The only difference in scent is the touch of vanilla that Nude has that is not in the original. In terms of sillage and longevity… sweetie, let’s just say someone would have to be ‘in flagrante’ with you to get a good whiff of this. And it’d have to be quick because Nude is DONE in 2hrs max.
Now. This is not what I expected at all. Given that, I do think it’d make for a great -ahem- BEDTIME fragrance. It’s soft enough to not be offensive even a minute after spraying, and the rose+vanilla is tres alluring. Bow chicka wow wow 😉
Or spray it in your lingerie drawer.
It’s not a full-day perfume. This probably won’t even make it to your morning meeting.

Smells like real flowers, nothing cheap or plastic like with this one! The rose scent mixed with the vanilla is delicious. It’s sad that it’s not more complex as it dries down though. Also it’s not very long lasting on me.. (2 hours at most)
I love it as an everyday perfume, nothing offensive about it. The packaging is super cute too. (You sort of “undress” the bottle so it becomes.. well, nude)

I like it! =) Blind buy.
When I sprayed it on the first time I was like “hmm rose, rose… rose… where are you…? Oh wait… Ther eyou are! don’t move! wait! don’t go!” and the Peony appeared taking the place =)
On the top of the rose scent I deff feel a dominant Peony, I can relate it with Swiss Army for Her, and maybe it’s me but I feel a little bit (tiny bit) musky O_o
    Very fresh and light, subtle.
Not sure if I will buy it again, I am thinking of giving it to my sister as she LOVES Swiss Army for Her so she will definitely love this one.

This is a must-try for anyone interested in a modern take on the timeless combination of rose and vanilla. If you like the original Stella but want something a bit fresher and less “done up,” give this a shot. It is elegant, positively luminous and a perfect skin scent– very romantic and gentle. The drydown is pretty linear, making it ideal for daytime. No ridiculous waiting 30 minutes to “ripen” before I leave the house.
Stella Nude opens with a burst of pink pepper, sugared rose petals and peony lifted up by a TINY hint of citrus. Citrus notes, especially grapefruit, don’t usually agree with my chemistry, so I was surprised this didn’t go sour on me. Peony, too, can sometimes get screechy on my skin, but here it stays properly tucked into the rose notes. Vanilla and amber add a creaminess that completes the classic feeling of this fragrance.
I’m seriously enraptured, if you can’t tell. I just love how simple and comfortable this is. My favourite fragrances are those that become part of my aura rather than feeling like superfluous adornment. Stella Nude fits the bill perfectly. It’s elegant without being longwinded about it. Not everything needs 500 notes.
The only con is I wish it lasted longer. I suppose a 4-5 hour wear time isn’t terrible.

I smell it today and at first I thought it was super gorgeous but then I started to notice nothing but the roses, although I love roses and floral scent but this perfume is like build on Roses only.
It reminds me of delicate petals from Victoria secret
It’s not designed for sophisticated women , this fragrance captures soft and sensitive girls.
if you are a great collector of perfumes go and buy it and it will bring you comfort and you will never feel alone when you smell it.
It’s feminine and it gives the illusion of an innocent woman.

It just smells of roses! nothing wow! but its sort of wearable if you want a fragrance that is not noticeable!

I absolutely love this! In my opinion Stella Nude is way better than the original Stella, which I thought was alright but not worth enough to pay for a full bottle. I there is some rose at the beginning but to me the peony dominates this fragrance. Stella Nude is delicate yet it is still strong. Its very fresh, but not in the laundry type of way to me. More of a clean musky sort of vibe. The notes that I found for this said it contains “grey amber” not completely sure what the characteristics its supposed to have but I think its creating the musky vibe. The pink pepper really makes it pop when you first spray it on and there is only the smallest amount of grapefruit on my skin. It is very long lasting and beautiful. I love how natural it smells and how I can feel it lingering around me all day. Its romantic, sensual, sexy, and cozy all at the same time, its also very easy to wear! I feel like I never want to run out of this this its that amazing to me.

Oh lord I have missed this scent just purchased 100ml bottle think it will be my summer scent!! Very nostalgic to me wore it after both my pregnancies as its a light fresh scent and didn’t realise how much I missed it. Just imaging past summers sitting cuddling my newborns on the patio xxx

Soft ‘n elegant rosey fragrance. Fresh thanks to citrus and pepper, warmed up by vanilla and softened by peony. Stella really knows how to rosefy olfactory senses. Many versatile faces of roses in her fragrances. Again this one’s put well together.

smells like Tea Rose from perfumer’s workshop, but not as bright.

I’ve changed my mind, I love this fragrance. Even rose is not the dominant part of it, it is still elegant, soft and warm. I really love it and becomes my favourite.
p.s. Sad to hear that this fragrance is no longer available here in Hong Kong.

  17. :

This is my favourite fragrance. It smells so feminine and delicate but the lasting power is super bad.
I bought this perfume a week ago and I have been using it everyday and every time I ask my boyfriend if he likes my new fragrance, he answeres that he can’t smell anything.

  18. :

    3 out of 5

Being a rose lover, I really like this fragrance — a soft, spicy rose scent. A clean, fresh rose not an over-ripe, dusty one. I can’t really smell grapefruit, although I had hoped to. This is a perfect daytime/work fragrance except that this fades fast — on me, it’s completely gone in two or three hours. I suppose that’s to be expected in an eau de toilette so I just re-spray with resignation. But I would LOVE for Stella McCartney to bring this out in an eau de parfum!
UPDATE: After wearing this daily for a month or more, I love, love, LOVE it! Yes, I have to re-apply during the day, but it’s a fragrance I never get tired of, so I don’t mind at all. It’s the perfect professional woman fragrance for me — lovely, adult without being “old”, and just a gentle hint of clean sexiness. The warmth of summer brings out some lushness. YUM!!

I tried it some time ago but wasn’t impressed. I found only two notes in it, namely rose and vanilla, and I didn’t like the combination too much. I was expecting something more elaborate, complex and subtle, but for rose lovers it might be a good choice.

Stella Nude is breezy, light and fresh. I smell a cecile brunner rose vine. My husband said it smelled like a tulips, which is a high compliment. Very nice and I like this fragrance.

  21. :

crossing this off my list too, I smells just like Stella but not as strong or headache inducing. Its very dry, but its kinda nice…I mean I like it MUCH BETTER than Stella, WAY BETTER. The bottle is also much nicer. I don’t know if I would by it or not, it would have to be a really small bottle as I don’t see myself reaching for this all that much.

What a lovely light, fresh fragrance. I already have Stella and this is just as lovely, but sweeter. A truly nude fragrance. If you haven’t already bought this you should.

Really nice. Comfortable, romantic and fresh. Non of that syrupy sweetness most perfumes have but a tad bit of sweetness. Leaves an amazing trail and every one either looks at you or ask you what is this you wear.
Very addictive, you use it once and that’s it. Becomes the only thing you can handle using.

AHHHHHH. Just by reading this I think I have found my new perfume. I MUST try before though, because your imagination isn’t quite the same as smeling it against your own skin. But reading it, my heart skipped a beat in anticipation that this may be it. Alongside Stella Sheer (2011) I may have a winner. 🙂 xx

  26. :

On me, this is a lovely clean peony-type floral. I don’t get a lot of rose, but it’s not missed. This is a very fresh and pretty floral, and while the ultimate dry down is super sweet, it’s so faint by that time you can’t really tell. It only lasts about four hours, sadly, but it’s very nice for most of that time. Lovely

  27. :

    4 out of 5

The ultimate sexy perfume. Feels like your wearing nothing and your own sexiness just comes out naturally – if that makes any sens. Whatever, all im saying is to run and get it cause this fragrance is light and ultimately SEXY. Your bf will approve 😉

I love Stella, Rose Absolute and all the sheers. They are beautiful and rosy. Each one has its own slightly different mood, from morning rose in the fresh dew of the day, through to sunset rose in the heady evening scents, but Stella Nude is a little different…
I find it nude, not in the fresh nude scent way, but nude, as in getting nude with your lover in the heat of a hot summer’s night in the garden next to the rose bed whilst the stars twinkle and the satellites whiz past above unnoticed in the heat of passion!
It is more sexy than the rest, the vanilla and pink pepper add so much more to this than the sum of their parts. Amazing!

This is my most favorite fragrance ever. It smells like freshcut roses. So clean and fresh. I get compilmented on this scent all the time.
This scent makes me feel unique and sexy. Perfect for spring, summer, autumn and winter. Best scent ever! Plus: It makes men go crazy about you.

When I first sprayed this one I smelled nothing. I was really disappointed, until about 10 minutes later when suddenly a beautiful soft sweet rose scent hit my nose. Maybe it had to wait for my body heat to kick in, idk, but its so lovely. Fresh and summery, and oh so feminine.

  32. :

Its Rosey without smelling dated/old fashioned. The ONLY frag I’ve found that I can wear to go to bed and sleep in right after spraying because its very clean, fresh and airy. This smells similar to the original Stella, just lighter, more rosey, but unfortunately more linear. Good for daytime spring/summer.
U gotta really like roses to love this one. I like it better on me than Rose Absolute. Not much staying power though.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

Stella Nude is rather pleasing to say the least. Despite being a clean interpretation of rose, it has a beautifully natural and icy quality which I really enjoy.
Stella Nude is not a complex scent, however I quite like its simplicity. It really does smell like you’ve just stepped out of the shower. It’s delicate, pink, feminine and fresh.
It sits rather intimately on the skin, providing subtle wafts every now and then to those close enough to smell you. It tends to have a very romantic feel that isn’t too overbearing. It reminds me of the scent of old-fashioned boutiques where the air is constantly scented with rose oil and potpourri.
It’s somewhat similar to Stella Sheer 2008 which I own and love, however it’s less fruity and obviously much softer. The pink pepper adds an interesting dynamic to the scent, and I find the peony compliments the soft, pink roses nicely. A skin-scent is what Stella Nude feels like when wearing it, something very natural and very ‘nude’.
The drydown takes on a crisp, white laundry scent which continually refreshes you through all stages of the composition. In my opinion, Stella Nude is quite possibly Stella McCartney’s most inoffensive and delicate fragrance yet.

  34. :

This perfume is very clean, almost soapy, but a bit cold. I prefer the original as it’s a bit warmer. This is not nude, there’s nothing sexy about it. Though the lasting power is excellent.

im trying this one out today. and liking it:)
its a very clean and fresh perfume . The grapefruit and rose goes hand in hand whit the peony and pink pepper . I cant realy say there is a top or middle note in here . it goes togheter nicely. the vanilla and amber i can rearly detect in the backgrownd .The rose is a bit oily. this one is just fresh and nice to me . reminds me a little of Rose d`Ete Les Parfums de Rosine.and lady vengans
    like it

I LOVED THIS! smells clean, simple, sexy, gentle, and perfect. i dunno but i found it a bit powdery which i like so another addition in my perfume wardrobe.

  37. :

I thought it would be light, but it smells of amber and strong vanilla with a tiny hint of rose. It disappoints me.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Clean, soft and sexy exactly what you expect a woman to smell like in the morning. This fragrance is very pretty however it doesn’t last long so I took to carrying it around and spraying it when I needed a pick me up.

  39. :

    3 out of 5

Stella Nude’s elegance is understated and easy. Her natural beauty is far more captivating than anything contrived.
On me Stella Nude is all roses and freshly laundered linens. It is perfect for when you want to feel that you aren’t wearing any fragrance at all… When you want to be nude.

  40. :

Glad I got the smallest bottle and now have to give it up. I love the scent of roses but after wearing it for an hour he thought the house smelled like empty beer cans and then he went to rinse the beer cans. I told him it’s Stella Nude that I’m wearing. He said up close…really close he could smell roses but that’s about it! Now it’s just hiding in my drawer.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

This is just lovely. It’s so delicate and pretty, very romantic. I mostly get peony and vanilla.
It’s the kind of thing you would want to smell like if you were stripped down to your lingerie. Light enough to confuse a man into thinking that you actually just smell that gorgeous.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

When I smell this perfume, it feels like I am holding a perfect rose in my hands. I can feel the gentle petals and see how the morning light reflects in the dew drops. The scent is absolutely gorgeous in its natural beauty and simplicity.
This perfume starts as a gentle blend of grapefruit and rose. I do like the choice of grapefruit in the opening as a soft touch. It makes the opening fresh but not too harsh like fragrances with strong lemon or orange. Rose and peony are dancing together in a perfect harmony as the heart notes. But I do feel that roses play the leading role. The base notes remain rosy with a small touch of vanilla. I tried to detect the amber but I do not feel that it is very noticeable.
This is a beautiful natural, fresh and clean fragrance. It is not dramatic or overly complicated but it is so gentle, warm and a pleasure to wear.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

I am really loving this clear, yet soft, rose scent. It is quite a dreary day outside today, but this perfume has definately brightened my outlook. This is unmistakenly Stella, but softer, cozier and more of a skin scent. IMO this is even better than Stella, with a more true to life rose. Not a powdery rose fragrance, and I don’t really pick up much of the pink pepper, so I wouldn’t consider it a spicy rose either.
Just a beautiful, easy to wear, ‘fresh from the rose garden’ floral scent. Try it on a rainy day.

I fell in love with this fragrance, it makes me feel sexy and who doesn’t want that? I love it. It is on my wish list, I want the linen spray and candle too! I could wear this everyday. I keep smelling my wrist. It’s so sensual and fresh, mmmmmm. Love it.

I’m pretty darn sure that this is what contentment, calm and quiet happiness smells like. Lovely fresh and gentle floral. Perfect for spring. Makes me very very happy! Stella I love you!

A smiley blonde woman in her late 30s walked into my bakery once, and as I was serving her at the cash, a beautifully-crafted, light and soft floral scent wavered in the air. I asked her what scent she was wearing, and this was it. I wanted to keep smelling it. Florals don’t work with my skin, unfortunately. But this is a great scent regardless.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

I keep smelling this from a tester, and it’s incredible – powdery, soft, clean and gentle, exactly the scent I want – but somehow when I put it on my skin it dries off to smell a lot like strong milk tea! It’s a note that doesn’t turn out on paper or in air at all, but is really prominent on me.
I suppose it doesn’t go well with my skin, which is a shame – that tea-like note is really bothering me!

  48. :

    This is lovely!
I have just sprayed it on my hand today, and it felt like a garden full of peonies and roses. It is so delicate, fresh and enchanting that I really felt the urge to smell my wrist. It has some lovely sweet undertones, and it feels so intimate!
Someone here mentioned fresh laundry, and it indeed feels so soft and soft cloths just taken from the washing line and ironed, it is warm summer breeze against my cheeks, a smell of sunshine (or a smell sunshine would have if it had any at all:)).
Beautiful and gentle, and perfect for the kind of weather we have now!

I’m wearing this now, and my co-worker just walked by and said…
“It smells like liquor in here.”
lol. I guess it does have the potential smell a bit boozy…like cheap wine. I still like it though.

    Like Stella, only fizzier.
I think it’s nicer than the original.

  51. :

This perfume is stunning in my opinion. If you liked the original Stella then you will like this. This smells to me like the original Stella (Which is a favourite of mine) but with…fresh Laundry thrown in. It’s a fresher version of Stella and I think it may just be nicer! It’s on my wishlist for sure. I haven’t tested it out on skin, I just sprayed it on a card in the shop so I can’t speak for Sillage or Throw. But..it’s definiately pleasant to my nose and I need it in my collection NOW!

I tried it today and was not impressed. I think previous scents were much more feminine and so interesting. However, it is my opinion only. Sorry, i am disappointed.
