Description

The collection of three fragrances by this house is presented to the market in November 2008 and include perfumes named Wink, Squeeze and Beachy.

Squeeze is an exotic fragrance which opens with aromas of litchi, pink grapefruit and red currant. The heart includes lotus and wild rose petals, while the base notes introduce sunny accords of wood and musk. The perfumer of this edition in a yellow bottle is Mathilde Bijaoui.

Design director and motifs creator by the house of Lilly Pulitzer, Janie Schoenborn, created combinations of colours and motifs which will be visible on stripes on colour pencil boxes, as well as on perfume package. Wink got primary motifs in pink and green nuances, Squeeze is decorated with yellow and orange, while Beachy is coloured in blues and greens. Secondary motifs are found on outside packages, as well as on body lotions. Design of the bottles was inspired by architecture Via Mizner in Palm Beach.

Sqeeze is available in two amounts: 50ml (1.7oz) EDP and 100ml (3.4oz) EDP, with an accompanying line of body lotions and scented candles.

OMG! Smell so good! I love lychee scent. I got from Marshalls 4 years ago for 10 dollars, and I didn’t care. Now it smells just amazing!

tooth-ache sweet on me. Super sweet fruity scent that would be excellent for a little girl’s first perfume. Not for me.

Nice everyday fresh summer scent. Best worn during the day. It has a pretty strong lemon scent to it and a little goes a long way.

A lemon / grapefruit opening with middle notes of lychee and currant. Dry down was bitter orange and something . . . green and sour. A nice citrus, without overwhelming sweet notes (which I dislike intensely.) Alas, as sometimes happens, this scent does not work with my personal chemistry, and it was obvious to others. Otherwise I would have enjoyed it. I returned the bottle to the one who had given it to me as a gift. She loves the scent, and it works well with her chemistry, so I don’t feel too bad returning it to her.

With a name like “Squeeze”, one would think this fragrance would hit you with a blast of fresh citrus. It does not. Far too mellow and blended for my taste. One of those on-the-fence “should I even keep this” fragrances.

Compared to the other 2 Lilly Pullitzer frags Wink & Beachy, this lasts longer and projects more on me. Squeeze seems to last about 4 hours. This is very zesty.
This only reminds me of Yellow Diamond and Bright Crystal with the fruits and lotus. The effervescent, icy and fizzy qualities of the Versace’s are not to be found in here.
Out of the 3, Squeeze is my favorite because of the longevity and sillage compared to the other 2. Beachy is a much lighter version of Live Colorfully that disappears in 45 minutes on me so i got rid of that one since i own Live Colorfully by Kate Spade.
Squeeze is perfect for days that i’m sick when nothing but fruity citruses and aquatics feel good wear.

I hate to dis on any of these lovely Lilly Pulitzer scents, but this is the weakest of the 3. It has the least character, and I wanted to love it but I can barely muster more than a “It’s ok” for it.
The opening is a burst of fresh citrus—mostly grapefruit and lotus. A hint of musk.
    Then…nothing.
It’s been 2 hours and I literally smell NOTHING from the 3 spritzes I made on my wrists and neck.

When I watch these comments, I was hesitant for buying it. However, it is an amazing buy, I cannot describe the smell, really pleasent and the best for the price, the bottle looks so expensive.

I really like citrus fragrance so I should like this one; but I do not. This is a big blast of astringent grapefruit that drowns out the other notes. I notice a nice little rose & lotus but they are not in balance with the grapefruit. This fragrance feels lazy to me like they didn’t take the time to really work it out.
I even tried using this as a room scent but even blended with sweet almond carrier oil, it was screechy.
The ingredients seem like quality notes but just not blended/balanced.

Thank you to the Yellow Diamond comparison. I finally bought this after fearing the Happy comparisons. This is a bright citrus, not cloying or old style.
Update: This has an acetone smell. Instead of getting bummed out, I sprayed it with Beachy as a mix. This works because Beachy is very strong. I’ve just noticed how much this is like Bright Crystal and Ungaro Party.

I bought this based on the packaging and the fact that it was $14.99. I thought it would be an orange scent, hopefully orange blossom. But this is super zesty. A lot of grapefruit zest and rose. You can smell the same rose note in wink. It’s a nice smell but use sparingly!

I absolutely adore this fragrance. It does remind me of Versace Yellow Diamond, but without the overpowering musk drydown. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the grapefruit and the lychee, it’s very prominent and it blends so well with the rose and lotus. I think that the floral and woodsy notes makes the scent more rounded and not like citrusy-sharp. Really a happy, cheery, bright scent.
It’s definitely a juicy scent–absolutely divine for summer and spring. I find that it’s also very lovely in the winter, too in which it’s like a refreshing-juicy. I honestly don’t get the musk and wood notes at all, but maybe that’s just me.
The scent doesn’t last very long, though. I’d say 3 hours on me, and that’s with like 5-6 sprays. Other than that, well done, Lilly Pulitzer!!

definitely one of those bright citrus summer perfumes. a skin scent with lasting power of only about an hour, but I still love it. I like lighter scents in the humidity and this works nicely. it reminds me of lemon peels. you can smell a bit of floral and wood in the dry down mixed with the citrus, but i’m enjoying that odd mixture. the price is right too. enjoy!

This was the first in the Lilly Pulitzer trilogy I smelled—smelled out of the nozzle, not sampled or tried on my skin (hell, not even on a blotter strip). It was what drew me to the other two bottles and yet, it was the last one I picked up. I love, love, LOVE hesperidic scents and this one was no exception out of the bottle. How it played out on my skin, well, that was a different issue.
It begins with candied grapefruit. The grapefruit presented here is sugary sweet, without a bitter backbite and with minimal florals. It stays the course for a few hours then it turns to a sweaty, sour citric musk. The woods smell slightly of pencil shavings, ruining what could have been a nice, if not generic, citrus scent. On the plus side, this is very long lasting and punchy enough to provide great projection and sillage.
The price is shamelessly low enough to negotiate the odd drydown. I have found layering this with another citrus scent or complementary ancillaries helps take the edge off this scent and its very odd base notes. It isn’t a bad fragrance but the anonymous wood notes really hold this sugary citrus scent back.

My sister owns this. It’s one of those perfumes that smells pleasant, but pretty boring and straightforward. It’s just a generic citrusy scent. I don’t hate it, but it’s just very average to me.

(yellow one) I just bought this and I am gonna return it tomorrow. All I smell is grapefruit and a grapefruit scent is something I really want to own, but this one does not amaze me I think there are probably much better grapefruit scents out there.

SQUEEZE is a well-named fragrance and the most natural smelling of the Lilly Pulitzer trio, although it, too, boasts BHT among its ingredients.
While wearing this fragrance I cannot help but think of the Pacifica natural perfume line, which is at about the same quality level and in the same price range as SQUEEZE. I’d say that SQUEEZE is something like a cross between Pacifica MALIBU LEMON BLOSSOM and TUSCAN BLOOD ORANGE. There’s a lot of mixed citrus (not just grapefruit…) going on here, and I do not detect much in the way of anything else.
SQUEEZE smells pretty good and will likely serve the citrus fragrance needs of many. For those with more exacting tastes, Annick Goutal EAU D’HADRIEN or Hermès CONCENTREE D’ORANGE VERTE may be better choices.

I had high hopes for this… And I ended up hating it. I was expecting citrus fruit, and all I smell is flowers. Very strong flowers. It also triggers my headaches.
Me and my mom both agreed that it smells almost just like Clinque Happy though. So if people like the smell of Happy but dont want to pay the price, this would be a great alternitive.

Fresh juicy grapefruit and pretty pink rose petals. This is a really refreshing fragrance.
    Great spring and summer scent!
I have a couple of the limited edition escada summer perfumes & I think this is a better quality then those. It smells more natural and the notes work better together. Plus it cost’s less. Like stated, it isn’t as sweet as escada summer scents. I like my fumes sweeter but in this case I think it’s great the way it is.

Love. The bottle is supercute and so are the other ones, but they have nothing on this one. I wish the other LP perfumes smelled as amazing as this because they would look adorable on my dresser with the rest of my collection but they just don’t compare i wouldn’t even want them. This is wonderful, bright and fruity and not too sweet at all. I can’t imagine this would give anyone a headache.

This is 100% pure citrus. So fresh– like just squeezed fruit. If you want a simple smell for summer that’s fruity but not sugary, this is it. Actually, I didn’t purchase this because I would have liked it to be a tad bit sweeter. But if you like simple and natural fragrances, this is highly recommended.
PS. I see some comparisons to Escada frags… in my opinion, I don’t get that at all. Escada is infinitely sweeter.

Smells like a juicy sugared grapefruit which I find very appealing. ;’) Not the most complex scent but it is bright and enjoyable. It is light and mellows out to skin scent but I find that it lasts pretty well. If you don’t want to spend a ton of cash on Pacific Paradise then this is a perfect substitute. Price is very reasonable as well. ;’)

When I first tried this it was too much citrus. I tried it again and let it dry down and wear a while and the citrus wears off and the fruity side of it comes out better. It’s not bad at all . The lemon just blasts you too much at first. If you smell it on a test strip it smells too lemony also.
I got it for $10 and at that price it’s okay that it’s not a real long lasting perfume. If you remember Loves Fresh Lemon from the 70s then Squeeze is that type of fun fragrance.

Sadly, not for me. Sits on my skin like it’s bored with me and wants to leave. I don’t get as much citrus as everyone else, more berry. It is very fresh though, long lasting and pretty cheap to buy.

Just received Squeeze today (from The Perfume Connection)……wow…soooo juicy!…I love the first blast of zest..a real “pick me up”….then it softens to a sweet fruity/rosey scent….very nice indeed…sooo summery… :o)

No joke this is the most fresh citrus scent I have ever smelled. It literally smells like fresh citrus fruit.I got a 3.4 oz for $20.00 at Marshalls. It is a good one.

After reading all the good reviews, I feel quite confused and then I tried Squeeze on again. Well, maybe it is just my body chemistry, it just doesn’t work on me.
For me, instread of a fresh fruity scent, I just got some really sugary fruity scenty which gives me a headach. I can smell the litchi and grapefruit opening, but it’s kinda synthetic, as if it is trying really hard to be fruity and fresh but actually deep inside it’s a sugar glazed donut with fruit jam.
If natural refreshing fruity scent is what you are after, be careful of this one. Somehow the first impression may be decisive. Always try it on your skin!
If Gwen’s Harajuku Lovers’ Lil’Angle doesn’t work for you, this one might disappoint you too.

The signature citrus floral scent is bright and playful with its whimsical charm, infused top notes of exotic lychee and splashes of juicy pink grapefruit.

Lovely citrus scent, but I must agree with ca.comMiss_Bin…smells just like Escada Pacific Paradise or Rockin Rio. Has no hang time what so ever.

very nice straight citrus though nothing amazing-if you already have any of the Escada SE’s such as Ibiza, Pacific Paradise etc or Masaki Yellow Mat, save your $.
