Description
Besides the latest edition Living Lalique to mark the year of 2015 of the house of Lalique, a new collection of fragrances inspired by precious metals was introduced. It arrives after last year’s collection Lalique Noir Premier La Collection and follows the tradition and style of the house. Flacons of the new collection Lalique Les Compositions Parfumees Collection were created in the same style as the flacons of men’s fragrance Hommage a l’homme Voyageur presented last year, made of blurred glass with a black stopper.
The latest collection Lalique Les Compositions Parfumees includes the following editions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Electrum and Zamak. “A harmonious blend of metals melted together as perfume raw materials arrive united in a collection of beautiful and unique fragrances. Five different fragrances are based on alloys of metals and precious metals.”
Electrum is the fragrance that starts with a union of bergamot, freesia and pear. When blended together, they offer coldness to the metal. The heart of the perfume features rose, jasmine and sandalwood to emphasize electricity, while the base notes incorporate patchouli, Haitian vetiver, amber and musk to create hotness and add yang to yin.
The nose behind this fragrance is Karine Dubreuil.

i tried a sample of this today-i really like it-i almost smell a leather/suede note in it….not a dirty note-more like new suede/leather smell when you get a new leather coat-i quite like it with the white florals-i am searching for a bottle if anyone has one looking for a home….
this lasted several hours-it was steady, but not too loud-i didn’t get the pear note-which i am glad-i don’t care for pears in my perfume
0verall-if ican’t find a used bottle-i will try to purchase decant-at the price i don’t think i would wear it enough to justify a FB-even though i do enjoy it-i just have too many perfumes for that….

Oh my, no reviews!? How can this be! I’ll throw a first impression out there, though I’d love some more time to get to know this fragrance better. I was able to spray it from a Neiman Marcus tester and wear it today. 7 hours on and it is still detectable, though definitely a skin scent, although during the first few hours I caught whiffs of it here and there, even on busy streets full of other (less pleasant!) smells, which was a nice surprise since I feel like so many fragrances I encounter stay pretty close to the skin. My husband didn’t care for it, which I found odd since he loves Hermes’ Terre– he was actually wearing it today– and to my nose, it smells like a traditionally feminine version of Terre. The bergamot is quite prominent, as is the sweetened white floral. Smells clean and spare, but in an elegant way, rather than an unsophisticated or simplistic one. Hopefully reviewers with more experience with this scent can offer their insight, but I hope for the time being, this helps those deciding whether this is worth seeking out and investigating further! I certainly enjoyed my time with it, and am looking forward to our next encounter.
