I have a sample of Socotra. Its very luscious and resinous. My immediate response was Nag Champa oil without the heavy sandalwood base. I was afraid it had oud. Mercifully, it doesn’t. Vanilla and honey make it sweet. I pick up lots of frankincense and myrrh. It a dry arid place that has a lot of warmth.
This is worthy of a full bottle when the weather cools down.
