This fragrance reminds me of Atelier Cologne’s Silver Iris, but without that’s synthetic and sticky sweet blackcurrant-note, which ruins the whole perfume to me. It is a warm, sweetish, creamy iris fragrance with a bit menthol (?), linear, but pleasant enough. However, I like more powdery and more complex iris scents.

I usually layer this perfume with something else. It got really high oil content but for some reason doesn’t last quite long on my skin.
How do I describe this fragrance. Very creamy and intoxicating floral with musk is what I’m getting mostly . It is quite a simple scent, yet I really appreciate it’s simplicity.
Sillage is quite nice when it last. I could smell it quite often through air. It is one of those scent you dont get tired of. Very pleasant.

Being extrait, it is a heavy scent that stays close to the skin. To me it is the most beautiful scent ever, and I do not care that it has poor performance, I can simply re-apply it. When I smell it, I feel safe, happiness, sadness, excitement and melancholy at the same time. The fact that I get only whifs of it makes it even more magical and alluring.
EDIT:
Layering this with Prada L’Homme literally makes the iris note explode and project like insane making it literally my favourite scent.

“Intense” in the name is a joke. It lasts at the best 10 to 30 minute on skin, maybe one hour on clothes. Such a weak staying power was totally unexpected from Montale house. There must be a mistake in the formulation.
Waste of money, in my opinion. The perfume is nice, very soft and leathery, but it’s gone in just one blink. What’s the use, then?

Intense? Really? I love iris, and I own several perfumes dedicated to this majestic flower. Here I expected a solid, deep iris, but is soft and difficult to detect. Nobody will keel over when you wear this scent. It almost isn’t there. Compared to this one, Prada infusion d’iris is a monster. Allright, Id’I is a bit of a monster, but you’ll understand the idea 😉

This is a very simple and pretty iris fragrance. I have to say I am surprised it is supposed to be extrait strength! I can see why there are comments about the similarity with Prada Infusion d’Iris but this is softer and sweeter. PII is my “I mean business” fragrance. Its perfect for work.
This on the other hand is so feminine and cooling. Perfect to wear on a warmish spring day.
There is a creamy freshness care of the musk and sandalwood no doubt. There is lots of iris on the opening but it fades back considerably in the first half hour. What is left is an almost ozonic iris fragrance that takes me back to the 90s. I almost detect the smell of cucumber!
Poor sillage but hangs around for a good few hours. Not fb worthy for me. I will stick with my Prada.
