I love the concept of Snap! Little mini camera sized sprays you can take on the go, and pack easily when traveling. The spray is a bout the shape of a smartphone and just a tad smaller than the average phone. Fits in your pocket or purse nicely.
Snap 1 is a lighter, sporty frag, somewhat typical chypre with citrus and woody notes with some lavender, black pepper, mint and some floral notes. One thing Snap does well is safe, approachable, inoffensive scents with a broad appeal, but a cut above boring designer frags and their endless flankers.
Starting off with sparkling citrus top notes with mint, the scent quickly settles into something a bit more mature, but still sporty and playful. Cinnamon, lavender, and florals form the heart, leading to something a bit more serious, but still leaving a touch of whimsy. The drydown settles into a base of vanilla, sandalwood, and Brazilian Tonka.
It’s a beautiful fragrance and remains a touch sweet through all stages. It does have development, so it’s not tired and linear.
Safe, inoffensive, pleasant, but again, not groundbreaking. For the price, it’s pretty great! 7.5/10
