In the same way that Inhale / Exhale make up Breath of God, Old Delhi Station is one of three parts of The Smell of Freedom perfume. It’s predominantly clove and pepper with a low-level soap effect over some earthy, green facets. It’s not particularly developed or adventurous, but it does have a nice herbalized apothecary feel to it. More of a spa scent than something you’d expect from a perfume oil, but it’s invigorating and clean. As with many of the Lush scents, the materials are high quality and the scent is rich as the result, but the name “Old Delhi Station” sounds more evocative and entrancing than the scent actually is. Nice enough, but it’s really just a clean clove more than anything.
