EdTS II is a modern rendition of a classic oriental fragrance. Quite extravagant. Luxurious.
Opening with sweet citrus, amber and heady florals, EdTS II soon turns green and spicy. The dry down is an elegant combination of soft vanilla, amber and sandalwood notes. These is a powderiness evident in the dry down but it is well balanced by the spicy notes. I don’t feel EdTS II is gourmand as others have suggested.
A unisex fragrance with femme leanings, this is easily wearable by both sexes. Definitely a cool weather or formal scent.
Longevity is moderate with a moderate-heavy sillage.
    8/10

Similar to shalimar? I see the resemblance, in the blast off, but this one elevates the idea to another planet. Honey, almond ,maybe a dash of heliotrope and vanilla tossed in. Makes you want to lick the bowl. Far superior to any competitors. Sweet, sexy, sassy, a little boozy, for a worldly woman.

A relative of Guerlain’s Shalimar, but more modern, fruitier and softer. Softer on the skin, not as long lasting, and lacking the sharp bergamot blast on opening. Instead, the opening of Tommi Sooni II has a fresh blast of lemon, blended with sweet, tart rhubarb. About 20 minutes in, the vanilla/amber accord becomes the focus and is similar to that used in Shalimar, but with not as much “oomph”. After several hours, the fragrance dries down to a sweet, honeyed vanilla, and the amber dies down considerably. As an EDT, this is not overly long lasting. I got about 2 hours of obvious, radiating scent, followed by another 3 or so of soft, sweet drydown, much closer to the skin.

This is a really beautiful and classic smelling oriental. It is quite vanillary and ambery on the skin, and to my nose it smells like a cross between Boucheron’s Trouble and Gaultier 2.
Eau de Tommi Sooni II struck me straight away as the extravagant type. It has a slightly green and spicy opening, that later settles into a sensual and rich vanilla, amber and sandalwood blend. It doesn’t smell overly unique, however it does have an undeniable charm. It exudes elegance and sophistication.
I especially enjoyed Eau de Tommi Sooni II’s warmth. It would really suit a cold, rainy day or a strictly formal atmosphere. I am most intrigued by the slightly gourmand element, which comes across as smelling rather delicious but not necessarily foody. I think its sweet, syrupy nature will garner quite a few compliments.
Other than the dominant vanilla and amber blend, ylang ylang, jasmine, honey and rhubarb also feature quite well. Eau de Tommi Sooni II is actually rather complex in terms of its development.
This fragrance tends to smell more like a designer scent rather than niche. I mean that in the best possible way. The longevity and sillage are highly commendable, and I believe it’s Eau de Tommi Sooni II’s boldness that makes this fragrance truly lovable. I can’t possibly praise this perfume enough.
I would go so far to say that this is Tommi Sooni’s sexiest fragrance, and the one most likely to appeal to younger consumers.

Tommi Sooni II is a modern oriental with a distinct and glorious vintage feel. The scent is complex and its development is interesting and exciting to follow. The scent is well crafted and I am definitely captured by its elegance, class and high quality.
At first the scent is citrusy fresh with a nice combination of bergamot and lemon but this stage does not last long. The scent completely transforms as ylang-ylang starting surfacing. The combination of ylang-ylang and jasmine continues to intensify as the scent blooms into a balmy and rich floral bouquet with a vintage feel. I don’t know if this stage is my cup of tea but I am sure it will appeal to those who love vintage style bouquets. The scent continues to evolve as it becomes softer and sweeter. The honey and creamy sandalwood start to shine adding a nice complexity to the floral composition. The ambery notes are comforting, slightly powdery and silky soft in the base mixed with light vanilla and honey and layered on the creamy sandalwood. It is very luxurious, soft and opulent and I am totally smitten with the scent at this point.
Overall score is 8/10. I do like and admire the composition and craftsmanship of this scent. I think that it is definitely worth sampling, especially if you love vintage style compositions.

Had soooo high hopes for this because of the notes, but this is a disappointment to me. Extremely sweet, powdery and almost gives me a headache. Can’t smell any rhubarb or any freshness at all. Mainly vanilla and sandalwood.

I blindly sniffed my five Lucky Scent samples yesterday, and this is the one that stood out. Now that I’ve been wearing it all morning all I can say is, ‘go with your first impression.’
And I’m not alone. Of the hundreds of scents I’ve sampled, only three have gotten an unsolicited ‘I like that’ from my SO. This is the third. Now I am a Caron/Guerlain girl, so my bar is set pretty high, but this could easily pass for a Caron vintage, and in my mind, I was running with Farnesiana.
What the two share is the almond note, and i’m not seeing how that could be from the notes listed above. Vanilla is really grabbing my attention here, with a strong helping of amber, but the florals are giving it an earthy gourmand feel (and thankfully not the bakery one).
I am pleasantly stunned by this beauty. The ad copy is misleading. This is not an ‘airy green’, it is an old school oriental floral, the kind that make people fall in love with perfumery in the first place.

You can order from their site or at luckyscent. I received my samples today from Australia. This is the brightest of all four scents. It’s a very joyfull scent, sunny floral, slightly sweet (my girls found chocolate here), but I think it smells more balmy. Powdery with time.
Yes there is something that united it with Dune, may be only first one step, it’s definitely younger and lighter.
