This sample comes in a funny sprinkler bottle with a cap that’s made to look as if it were a rubber cork, but isn’t. I don’t think the seal is very good, so I anticipate losing much of the contents through leakage or evaporation.
The fragrance itself smells as if someone had combined an aromatherapy mix with a celebrity perfume. There’s some green herbal stuff, spices, heavy on the nutmeg, some vague generic floral notes, some woody notes, and what seems to me like a good bit of Iso E Super.
After writing my initial impressions and then reading the published descriptions, I see that there’s lemongrass in the mix – and I do smell that as part of the aromatherapy side of things. I also see that the perfumers combined three existing perfumes to make this one, whch is probably why it smells like a mix of too many incompatible things.
As it dries down, it becomes sweet and powdery. At this stage it’s not bad at all. After about 2-3 hours it turns into a strong powdery-sweet musk scent that’s extremely insistent and persistent, sticking around for at least 12 hours. It’s not a scrubber, but certainly would never become one of my favorites.
