Narcissus-vanilla. I don’t sense the wiskey and cinnamon notes which I think would have been great to ground a bit more the fragrance but I sense way too strongly the ozone note (to me it is a « snowy” cold note that I guess it’s the ozone) which cuts through the narcissus-vanilla notes and through the entire fragrance way too sharply. Does not work for me although when I saw the notes on the sample I got I thought I would like it.

Soft vanilla sweater. I wish fragrance was a bit stronger!

Knock knock….anyone home! Sprayed it on me and it left. It has to be my chemistry. Unfortunate because I love this fragrance.
To do this review I have to smell the bottle. How sad. It does have a vanilla whiskey scent. Which I love.

A nice mundane musky vanilla floral. That sounds a little boring but I’ve never smelled anything like this before. I really liked how this performed on my skin but after a while I felt like I had to throw up. Same thing happened with Laibella. Must be an ingredient in Memos my body doesn’t agree with.

This fragrance has been reformulated. Accords as popcorn and whiskey are no longer listed in the note breakdown.
Siwa is a very soft and creamy fragrance. Like other Memo fragrances Siwa is masterly blended and smells luxurious. As some other reviewers have pointed out, Siwa has this baby bath smell. Soft and warm like a blanket. Personally I also think of summer when I smell this fragrance. Luxurious lotion, sun kissed skin and long summer nights.
I wish Siwa would project a little more, as it sits very close to the skin, but to much projection from this fragrance might be to overwhelming. Siwa is inoffensive and perfect for daytime wear spring, summer or fall.

Quite sweet lily-of-the-valley perfume. It has a milky vanilla base, and it is boringly cute. I get why people like this scent, it is soft and sweet, and gives a familiar feeling, like walking into mommies bedroom, but it is not my cup of tea. And oriental? No way.
Opirwayrima – :
Siwa is a sweet, soft vanilla with a light touch of whiskey and popcorn. Nothing really memorable or particularly amazing, but quite pleasant and calming.
Sillage and longevity is a big disappointment, from beginning to end it sits very close to skin and lasts only about 2-3 hours.
Overall Siwa is nice, but is it worth the hefty price tag, especially considering its terrible perfoming? Not sure…
Radik93 – :
I am big fun of Manoa Memo parfum which lasts for 9 hours and has very strong sillage. Unfortunately, Siwa smells gorgeous only during first 30 minutes, while its sillage is extremely soft. Frankly speaking, for EUR 160 for 75 ml bottle it should smell MUCH stronger as it is the case for Manoa. I am quite disappointed with this new perfum

Siwa, on my skin, smelled nothing like the pyramid suggests. All these notes somehow added up to a very linear and chemical cherries in syrup sort of scent with some thin vanilla. Toothachingly sweet. Much like its sibling, Quartier Latin, there are just too many chemical notes. The whole thing is hard to pinpoint and is a generally vague sugary scent. I did not care for it.

Musky, gentle sweet, soft floral, lacy vanilla, and slightly…. nutty. The nutty notes I smell are like roasted nuts; It gives this perfume some weight and im guessing it’s from the popcorn and whiskey. Siwa smells like it would be a light syrup of some sort, and this light syrup would most likely be a mild body wash or a flavoring to add to food and drinks. This is a quiet oriental that clings close to the skin and lulls you into a forlorn and sleepy comfort.

You can also use l’occitae narcisse and vanille .Its also cheaper than memo. But ı can say memo last 12 hours:)

This fragrance is very similar to Eau d’Hiver, only a little sweeter.

Memo SIWA is a low-key, slightly oriental fragrance with a barely perceptible popcorn note–I think. I actually smell something closer to sandalwood, which is not listed among the notes, and my only other popcorn note sniffing experience has been with MISS DIOR CHERIE, where it seems quite a bit more noteworthy.
I definitely do not detect anything even vaguely resembling aldehydes in this composition, and the violet leaf escapes me as well. Whiskey? Hmmm…that one is also MIA. In addition, the longevity and sillage are not very good, which leads me to believe that this is a dilute solution, not an edp.
All in all, SIWA is not very memorable to me.

A tamer version of Musc Ravageur. First on, it’s soap and powdered vanilla extract. It warms up to a vanilla musk with the hint of cinnamon, without actually smelling like cinnamon. There’s just a warm spiced feeling to it. Musc Ravageur goes plastic on me after the fabulous beginning, so this would be a fair alternative and without the plastic notes. Still, in the end, it’s a nice vanilla musk, comforting, but not exciting. I sure wish I could smell the whiskey and popcorn notes: I don’t even get aldehydes or violet leaf.
mustkill13 – :
Have tested this twice now. Very pleasant warm vanillic white musk. Worth trying as that sort of comfort scent…and it’s hard to argue against a haunting of whiskey and popcorn in a comfort formula. Still very hard to find in the US.

I’ve tested this fragrance several months ago, like it very much, but unfortunately in my country it is impossible to find
