Of course, there will always be people who judge a fragrance by the price-tag- instead of the nose- and justify their scorn, which is fine as there is always a demand for customers of overpriced goods. [wink]
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I think Silver is great.
Саша20011997 – :
Synthetic opening and very sharp. An EDP that doesn’t last for an hour. Do yourself a favor and buy something else that is useful. Price is cheap so does it’s quality.
Vitaminus – :
Smells nothing like SMW, which is my favourite Creed and one of my top 5 fragrances ever. This one smells cheap, synthetic and bad. It tried to copy SMW and got 10%. It is the same category as SMW, but absolutely pathetic. I bought it and thought it would be a genuine clone, but what i smelled was a cheap citrusy smell combined with a plastic note and cheap musk in the drydown. SMW on the other hand has this beautiful fresh mandarine top notes, going to the amazing tea and black currant combo and in the end the beautiful Creed ambergris. They are world aparts, completely different class. You get what you pay for. Anyone saying they smell similar either is a WUM, has no clue about fragrances or never smelled both. They are in the same group of fragrance classification, as is CK one and Chrome Azzaro, but smell and quality wise not a chance. I threw the silver away after a few sprays, not even good enough for room spray or toilet spray.
nina15 – :
Everybody is saying that it is very similar to Creed Silver mountain water which I have never tried, but if it is, then both of them smell very bad for my taste, it is has the same scent of a very cheap cologne we used to have in Egypt called 555 Cologne Chabrawichi.
Жора – :
Another interesting clone from Al Rehab.
90% similar to SMW.
The initial notes are very inferior to the ones of SMW, its a 2$ roll on.
But the middle notes and base notes (linear) are very decent.
I have a nose and i find Silver to be decent.
Avenue from al rehab is for exemple destroying me. Sauvage from Dior is destroying my nose.
Silver is very fine.
If you have a knowledge with clones: Silver smell is closer to SMW than Rasasi Al Wisam is, but the ingredients are much better in Al Wisam than Silver.

Review for the oil roll on:
I actually purchased the spray version as a combo / top up for the oil and but after applying the oil at 7am today, 6 hours later it’s still beasting on my skin so that idea has completely gone out of the window.
Having owned and used SMW some years back and remembering I enjoyed it, (it was my first Creed experience) I felt compelled to try Al Rehab Silver as so many reviews likened the two, and of course, it was a low risk at £2 for the roll on.
Now I’m wondering if I ever really enjoyed SMW at all, and if so, I imagine i grew weary of it after a few uses. I do remember I happily sold the remainder of my bottle at the time.
It’s hot and humid here today and I can sum up my wearing experience of Silver right now in two words: uncomfortable regret.
Normally I ‘road test’ a blind buy fragrance at home on the weekends to decide whether A: I like it, B: to assess the strength and ascertain if it’s suitable for the time of year and / or office wear.
In this case I feel I’ve committed a ‘faux pas’ as I’m sat here feeling nauseous thinking “why won’t you die!??” As I’m sat near the air con machine, I don’t want to imagine what my co-workers are thinking.
I can’t fault the sillage, projection or longevity and yes, the scent bears an approximation to SMW as I remember it but this is not an enjoyable wear for me. There’s something overpowering and invasive about this scent and like all the Al Rehab oils I’ve tried, regardless of the power of the scents and economics of buying them, I can’t escape the cheap sensation when I use them.
I guess that when looking for a clone of a more expensive fragrance then concessions have to be made but when those concessions result in disappointment, surely it’s wiser to buy the original scent?
In any case, if (like the many reviewers below) I’d never smelled or even heard of SMW then I still wouldnt want to wear this as its just too much on my skin.
If you really, really love SMW but just can’t afford it then yeah, this could be for you.
My brother was always using my old SMW and loved it so I’ll be passing these to him. If he gives Silver the thumbs down too then I’ll feel vindicated.

scin87 – :
There is not much to say about this fragrance. It’s a damn close scent to Creed Silver Mountain Water with totally linear development, half the longevity, half the sillage and 1/75th of the price.
The scent – Heavy on citrus and musk, overall a more than acceptable scent that smells way more expensive than what it costs. Is it harsh scent? Yes it is but your nose will get used to it in 3 minutes and 95% of the people will not even ever notice it.
When? – safe enough to use on a daily basis provided it’s not cold, and why not in the office? Just keep the handy small bottle in your pocket and respray every 3~4 hours. You will hear compliments for sure. I did it (only once).
The name – If someone asks you what are you wearing, just answer Al Rehab Silver. It sounds ok and 95% of the people will think it is a new fancy perfume. The other 5% will think you are a “smart” guy.
Do I use it? – Yes I do use it from time to time and I have allways a backup in my drawer. It smels nice, the bottle size is pocket handy and costs as much as an expresso. Of course I do reapply a lot but for that cost, who cares?
And why? I hate to fill up and maintain a decant to carry with me. One of this Al Rehab bottles is almost the size of a decant and lasts at least for a week with continuous usage.
You loose the bottle? No big deal. For its cost, who cares?
And where? Well, as I said you may use it on a daily basis or even in the office. I know a handful of people who do that with Al Rehab scents like Silver, Choco Musk or Soft for example. Actually it’s not my case although I did it once in the office and I received as many compliments as when using L’Aventure (just to mention a good quality Creed Aventus look alike).
I use it at the beach! Al Rehab Silver layers quite well with dried salty water and sun lotion. Its scent becomes really similar to Al Wisam Day from Rasasi which is quite expensive, and it’s a scent I prefer to Siver Mountain Water. Whenever I go to the beach for a weekend or even a full week I allways carry a Silver tiny bottle with me,
Believe me. It’s worth trying it.
And how Silver is this Al Rehab Mountain Water?
Scent Opening: 6.5 (my judgement; average opening, a bit heavy and harsh but pleasant)
Scent Dry Down: 7.25 (my judgement; it gets better when the harshness is gone)
Longevity: 4.0 (with 2 good sprays it may last up to 3~4 hours; One hour more when mixed with salt and sun lotion)
Sillage: 4.0 (less than 3 feet at its peak with 2 sprays; projects for less than one hour and becomes a skin scent after the 2nd hour; One third more performance when mixed with salt and sun lotion)
Uniqueness: 4.0 (Similar to a douzain of Creed Silver Mountain Water clones; it’s unique in price only)
Wearability: 7.0 (It’s mainly a day scent but avoid to use it in the Winter)
Versatility: 8.0 (Almost an “all around” versatile fragrance; Great for the beach and the Gymn)
Compliments: 7.5 (An above average pleaser; It will even get you unexpected compliments)
Quality: 6.0 (Under average quality, but quite high for the price; handy flask and acceptable sprayer)
Presentation: 2.5 (looks like a very cheap “stuff”)
Price: 10.0 (30 ml for £ 2,5, a real bargain)
Overall rating: 6,07/10.00
I recommend this fragrance as long as you keep your expectations really low. It costs £ 2.50. It is at least on a pair with another cheap Creed SMW clone: Estiara White Stag. I never used the Estiara cologne. I bought it just for testing. Actually I gave away the bottle long ago. But the size, the scent and the performance of Al Rehab Silver allowed me to discover a specific use for this fragrance. And the price helps of course.

I am an Aluminium professional, but that does not mean that I like the metallic vibe in this.
If this is really any close to Creeds Silver Mountain Water, than I’m glad because I won’t be tempted to buy it.
Used it yesterday on a very hot day. Forgot a few hours later what I was wearing. Could not detect ANYTHING. I even thought I forgot to spray a fragrance before walking the dog out (rush, rush)
Than I realised I had 7 sprays of Silver on me.
Unless that is what it is supposed to be.
When I’m hicking in the mountains in the Summer and find a spring, I like to wash my hands and face, occasionally also my feet.
It is so refreshing and cool. Obviously water doesn’t smell. It is only refreshing for a while.
palumegi – :
I have the oil roll-on of this, 6 ml size.
I do like the smell, it has a very sharp, lemon opening to my nose. I think this might be the metallic smell people mention, or at least part of. It doesn’t last very long on me at all, maybe 3 hours tops. It’s very cheap, so isn’t the end of the world for me. I have yet to receive a compliment but I don’t believe it projects that far either. I live in Dubai, so maybe this is heavily affecting performance and projection.
Meyne617Diobtetty – :
This is apparently a $5 clone of Creed’s Silver Mountain Water (which goes for $300). I have smelled Silver Mountain Water, and al-Rehab’s Silver comes very close (Azzaro Chrome does as well somewhat). Silver starts off with a synthetic metallic citrus note which smells fresh but also “futuristic”, and dries down into a more natural blackcurrent accord with a tea note, as well as water and some sort of green note as well as white musk. The entire thing is incredibly synthetic (but in a good way) and has an overtly metallic opening, but the drydown is softer and more natural smelling. I think it’s one of the best offerings from al-Rehab, and does give me a sort of alpine mountainous feel, but in an abstract way and with a blackcurrent tea note. The opening with its metallic character also sort of reminds me of Azzaro’s Chrome. Sillage is moderate (though leaning weak) and longevity is actually pretty strong. Projection is moderate while longevity is very good. Overall very nice “cold” and fresh scent, that gives you the feel of a very expensive fragrance (Silver Mountain Water) for an incredibly inexpensive price.
4.5/5
zdxvxFBdtgbzf – :
I am from Bali, it’s always hot here. I don’t find it suitable for our weather. Too harsh, and not the people pleaser. I also don’t like the metallic note in it. My colleagues don’t like it too. Not for a rebuy.
Halaponga2 – :
Smells EXACTLY like Creed Silver Mountain Water & lasts forever. It’s a bomb, be careful! To the person below that said it smells nothing like it, you either got a fake Creed, or messed up Silver, b/c this is the same scent, nothing different.
krasnoperdick – :
Prefer the initial blast to the drydown, but, overall a good scent that smells way more expensive than what it costs.
lukery – :
I got Al Rehab Silver in a PIF and I just dont like it. I have worn this a few times and honestly it is far too metallic for me, even to the point that it smells sour on my skin. It is like Azzaro Chrome mixed with CK One as well as Acqua di Gio. Anyone looking for a bottle of this in the conUS, I maybe got 90% left on my 35ml spray.
That said I documents clean simple similar Silver Mountain Water “dupe” Sun Java Men which isn’t as metallic sharp as this one and not as overtly aquatic. Kind of along the lines of the CK One comparison I made with Silver.
ykrop1984 – :
Ok so I’m really surprised people here seem to like it so much. I haven’t smelled SMW itself so I have no idea how close it is to the real thing – however I just have trouble wrapping my head around Creed doing a fragrance so odd and off-putting, and having success with it!
This is decent in terms of projection and longevity – perhaps even above average. But the smell itself is not good. I even bought a second one to double-check I did’t get a dud the first time around (I know perfumes can go bad if left exposed to heat or sunlight). But nope, both smelled equally weird. This is a ‘fresh’ perfume, I guess, but in the oddest way – to me it smells metallic and just ‘off’. Like it contains something that shouldn’t be in there. Or like it used to be a nice aquatic/citrus cologne that expired and has gone sour.
izerli92 – :
For something as cheap as this is, it is amazing. I haven’t smelled SMW, but I do know how much it costs, and I don’t expect from this 6$ cheapie to be on par with it in terms of quality. Silver has sharp opening indeed, but give it a moment to dry down and you’ll end up having probably the most unique and non-generic freshie that 6$ can get you.
frz164InsuffBooni – :
I remember buying this in the Middle East back in 2005 onwards frequently for less than £1. It quickly became one of my favourite scents. Fast forward 13 years later and trying Creed Silver Mountain Water for the first time and realising that it is a clone! Yes, how dare Creed Fragrances rip-off Rehab!
Rehab Silver does a good job of cloning SMW and only a very trained nose can tell the difference.
bloretrit – :
I have a number of Al Rehab cheapies and this is my current favourite.
I touch a little blackcurrant essential oil on my wrist before applying this and although it’s not a dead ringer for Silver Mountain Water it’s close enough to be happy wearing and to keep the expensive stuff for best.
A couple of minor tips about all my Al Rehabs:
Put the roll on version on first (Longevity) then zap a little of the spray version on top (Silage and projection).
I tend to buy both the roll on and spray version of these scents. As of February 2018 the sprays can be picked up in the UK from ebay for less than a fiver. The roll ons go for less than two quid. It’d be daft not to get both at those prices.
Secondly, always ignore the first hour. That’s vital. The beauty and benefits of your investment will usually only be apparent once these cheapies settle down a while.
livecash – :
Very clean and fresh perfume. I think it is quite a nice option for a day use, at work for example. I agree that it’s quite sharp in the beginning, citrus and water are the main notes I smell. There is no mystery in the perfume, as I personally prefer, so it will be just in “like collection” instead of “love” for me.
kuzi30 – :
I bought this from recommendations and I just got it yesterday. I am wearing it today and I totally love the fresh and clean scent. I should have bought a bigger bottle.

I bought this $#!T because of the fine people on this site “claiming” it smelled like Silver Mtn water. Let me be as polite as I can here… F- NO it doesn’t! This stuff smells like dollar store air freshener (the TRUE Toilet spray) It’s not worth the 8$-free shipping.
hammer787 – :
Very versatile. There is no rose listed as a note here but it gives me a rose kind of vibe. May be the citrus opening is not sharp but creamy and dense enough to give off that vibe. Performance is amazing. Although an inexpensive scent, it is not a “cheap” smelling fragrance.
Igorexa1988 – :
The advantage of these perfume oils is their concentration and this can be their drawback as well. Silver can smell very sharp, metallic and synthetic if it is just simply dabbed on skin because then it remains in it’s thick form. For people like me with sensitive skin this can cause rashes as well. So what I do is, do couple of dabs (you can go for more if you feel like, or less) on my one palm and rub both the palms gently together and I get a thin and uniform layer of the oil. Now starting from collar wipe it across both the shoulders towards the sleeves on shirt.
This reduces sharpness, increases sillage and longevity. As the day progresses it get better and better specially towards afternoon. The fresh and aquatic fragrance gets sweeter and more natural, sharpness mellows. Most of the CPO’s smell best on clothes in the night (for morning application) and morning/day after. They may become a different scent.
Regardless of how similar or dissimilar it is to SMW, Silver remains the best offering from Al Rehab. This fresh aromatic deserves a trial.
s.edorov2011 – :
What a spot-on alternative/clone for Silver Mountain by Creed. The majority of the reviews stated that it’s a summer scent and I agree because it has a soft but fresh aroma that has longevity. I also think that it can be worn in cool weather- which makes it an all-year-round fragrance. I decided to test it out today in this wonderful fall weather and I’m loving it. Economy wise, its affordable but does not smell cheap at all!!! Get it… you won’t be disappointed!
Mazswero – :
I just got the 6ml oil and have been using it on my skin with a couple sprays of the EdP on my clothes. I had been using just the EdP, but I now realize the combo of the two is the only way to go. I highly recommend using both.
Уткин Женя – :
This smells so much like silver mountain water. When I smell my sample of silver mountain water this scent memory comes up. The issue is this really does smell synthetic and cheap. The good thing is it lacks the ink note that negatively impacts the original. That Jeremy fragrance dude hyped this on YouTube, but guess what he ended up using it for? Toilet spray. Which made me laugh because I thought this smelled fine when I first bought it a couple years ago. After a few months wearing it a few times I just felt so meh.. this consistently smells like an almost really nice scent that’s limited by it’s cheap constituents. “slightly” headache inducing.
mekcho – :
Quality: 2 out of 5 – The scent is OK; generic and may be off-putting to many. The EDP smells very artificial/synthetic. The oil is a 3 out of 5 – It’s smells good, but doesn’t make a lasting impression. When I sampled the Creed SMW, I loved it immediately, this I didn’t.
Originality: 2 out of 5 – You should easily be able to find a scent that could replace this. CK One maybe?
Projection (Sillage): 4 out of 5 – heavy; Applying the EDP with the oil and people can smell you coming. I used 2 sprays and oil behind the ears.
Longevity: 2 out of 5 – weak; 3~4 hours
Versatility: 4 out of 5 – This scent is very versatile; it works well for either day or night AND multiple seasons AND multiple occasions, AND works for both men and woman of many ages.
Value: 4 out of 5 – its very cheap if you actually like it. I bought it based on reviews and would have rather put the money towards a fragrance I had sampled and actually loved.
Compliment Frequency: 2 out of 5 – I never got compliments whilst wearing this scent.
Packaging (Bottling): 3 out of 5 – The bottle and sprayer are functional, but nothing special, aesthetically.
Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 – Good – The positives outweigh the negatives, but there are still way better fragrances out there. This fragrance will appeal to people who like a certain scent enough to tolerate its flaws. A lack of quality, longevity and compliment frequency are the main reasons this doesn’t warrant a score of 4. Given the people I respect that rated it so highly, it feels odd I found it to be a 3 myself! I would have rated it as 2 if it was not for the oil used in conjunction.
dcr703InsuffBooni – :
This is for the EdP. I would say Silver is about 90% SMW with a little CKone and maybe a drop of AdG sprinkled on top. I get pretty good longevity 5-6hrs with four sprays. I have always liked SMW and I feel this is a excellent alternative especially for $8.
viktor260770 – :
I bought this for my husband but also love to wear it myself. It’s crisp, clean, refreshing, light, brilliant, even sparkling. Silver is clean but not in a soap or laundry-product sense.
Al-Rehab’s oils are just amazing. Having never smelled Creed’s Silver Mountain Water, I can’t compare the two and won’t try to. But, I will say that something else to love about Al-Rehab Silver is the price point, in addition to the high-quality of the oil itself, the moderate sillage and crazy-long durability of this one.
I even like to use it to freshen up if I feel like I’ve sprayed too much of a very sweet scent; the clear citrus notes of Silver cut the cloying sweet back and tame it quite well. But Silver is gorgeous worn on its own, by man or woman or what have you. Gender doesn’t matter here, the clean and clear scent is made for everyone. Silver draws constant compliments without exception (for both my husband and myself).
In short, we highly recommend it.
ilja579 – :
It smells clean. that’s it.
Draculz – :
I love SMW and got this just out of curiosity.
WOW, I’m gobsmacked!
I know clones are totally hit and miss as they very rarely come anywhere near replicating the depth and complexity of the original, I know there are exceptions, but generally they need to focus on a particular characteristic or nuance of the original and run with that. Hence why some folk will love them and others hate them, depending on the focus taken and the notes the end user prefers/looks for in a dupe.
For me, Silver, hits the spot as I adore the inky/metalic/Blackcurrent/citrus blast that SMW opens with, and it pretty much stays like that throughout but just fades down a bit during it’s life span.
For me it’s a no brainer, and I feel fortunate to be able to reach for this when I want that SMW vibe but don’t want to wear my premium juice.
And given I paid £8.49 for 75ml of juice and a 6ml roll on, it makes it my best budget buy by far, closely followed by Al-Rahab’s U2 Man, which is as close to vintage Platinum Egoiste as you can get.

A nice and fairly inexpensive fragrence. I don’t know what smw smells like but I really like this and it does smell like it could be used as a unisex fragrance. I agree with other comments that it smells like it has a blackcurrant and metallic vibe. I got two 35ml bottles for around £6, one bottle I have given to my wife to try. The sprayer is also surprisingly good for what you pay. I wear this to work and casually, certainly a hot weather fragrance. Longitivity is lacking and will last 3/4 hours but its cheap enough to re apply regularly. Projection wise it is ok but don’t expect too much. I would say give this fragrance a go as it is fairly cheap

I have silver mountain water by creed. I was highly disappointed with it. It just lacked sillage and longevity. It was a sad buy for me , being that I’ve turned so many on to the creed brand. An older arabic man offered me this oil, i first refused because I don’t wear oils. He asked to share his juice so I allowed him to do so. As I was walking on I started to get compliments. I was puzzled like I know i already own this. So i made it home and checked my surplus, low and behold silver mountain water. Silver had given me all that I was missing with the smw juice. To enhance the vibe of the smw I would mix it with al rehab silver before total dry down. Whoa! This makes it a total beast. I evrn wear just the silver itself most times and get what I was supposed to have with smw. Silver gets a big thumbs up from me. I even started guiding my friends towards the Al Rehab Silver. Thank me later

i haven’t smelled SMW, but i really like this (especially considering i payed $5 for it). i get sharp metallic citrus and black currant. unisex for sure. definitely reminiscent of ck one and chrome at first. i have the roll-on oil and so far i’m surprised that this doesn’t seem to last more than 4 hours. maybe i just need to spend more time with it or apply more oil but i was really expecting this to be more of a monster than it is. regardless, i’ll definitely be wearing it a lot this summer.

I hate aquatic scents and fortunately silver is not aquatic to my nose.when first sprayed it,xerjoff mefisto’s drydown came to my mind.it’s intresting that also my husband said it smells very much like mefisto, before hearing my opinion
Since mefisto has a lot in common with Creed silver mountain,so I agree with the comparison 221 fragranticans have voted for
The reason of saying it reminds me drydown of mefisto is that I can smell a healthy dose of sandalwood here.al rehab silver is a blend of fresh citrusy/fruity notes, sandalwood and a hint of musky florals on me.it’s not sharp like some citrusy scents can be.it’s refreshing and clean in a creamy way which is a very good thing IMO
I can’t compare it by details with silver mountain but if I want to compare it to mefisto,I have to say I definitely prefer mefisto because I die for mefisto’s opening,it’s first hours are beyond beautiful, still al rehab silver is a great fragrance in my book And worthes fifty times more than it’s price tag
I agree that it’s unisex and is wearable by women too.I love it but I prefer it on my man and won’t wear it myself.silver is a love for him,one of most-used fragrances in his collection and easily competes with expensive ones.he receives numerous complements while wearing silver and is so happy with it that asked me to order a pack of six of silver!because he wants to always have it in his collection.it’s bottle is just 35mil but lasts for a long time since it’s very longlasting and has great sillage so there’s no need for overspraying
Al rehabs have impressed me more than any perfume brand.they offer amazing quality with such a low price
Highly recommended

Silver Mountain Water obviously inspired this. I owned SMW in a past life and loved it. This 90% as good, which is amazing. This not as dry as Armaf’s Derby Club Blanche, but this is still dry as a desert to me. More inky and less metallic than the original. Two sprays of this is too much and will make the air around you shine with silver spikes poking your friends in the nose.
I think this would be better without the floral notes.
One spray only.
And you have a great cologne. I do not think I would enjoy this on a woman, but I would like to meet a lady who could make it work for her. She would be formidable and sexy for sure.

Silver is a very nice icy cold lemon water! Will be perfect as a breezy lift in warm weather. Or anytime, really, when you want to smell fresh, citrusy, put together, or just safe in a crowd.
I don’t think this leans masculine or femme, it just IS. Lemons, limes, minerals, water and soft flowers, a touch of pine or bay. There is a sharpness- an edge in the green notes somewhere.
Starts smelling really good on me after about 15 minutes when some slightly sweet floral or warm notes start peeking out, but this stays lemony and cool throughout overall. This really does remind me of silvery water. Nice!
My 7 yr. old son said “yum! Smells like lemon shampoo.” I always try to get my kids’ impressions since they are so honest, and I never want to offend young noses. So it passes.
Seemed to stay on strong for a few hours, totally disappearing into a light skin musk in 6 hrs. I will try it out on a hotter day to see how it performs.

In base note silver water mountains becomes pleasant while this one either fades away or become close to skin floral musk.
Longivity is medium but silage is weak.
Considering its worth only 6 bucks for 35ml, I give it 5 out of 10.

I love it, nicest of the Al rehab perfumes as it’s fresh and crisp, it’s a bit like Ck 1 I think. Love it

Silver will do very nicely when layered with its sister scents, I believe. My chemistry is not flattering it. At all. But… that’s chemistry!

This perfume smells soo fresh !!! I love it

Silver has a heavy musk and lemon blast out of the gate but once it settles down a bright, breezy, cool, manly, citrus blend. It’s very sexy like a man wearing a fresh, white, heavily starched shirt on a hot day….it’s going to be lovely on my husband during our hot Texas summers!

This is for the OIL vs SPRAY (EDP)
Oil:
+Smells strong
+Lasts long (12+ hours)
+Easy to apply
+Great for travel (portable)
+Monster projection
-Easy to over-apply
Spray:
+Smells soft
+Ok longevity (+8 hours)
+Sprayer is decent
* Soft projection (arms length)
+Perfect application every time
-None
Caps for both Oil and Spray are kind of wonky. Bottom line is if you enjoy the scent and aren’t afraid of coming on strong then Oil would be a better option. They both smell outstanding and are worthy of keeping in anyone’s collection.

I have the oil roll on, at first application it is a little harsh, metallic, and synthetic but after it dries down for a while it starts to smell slightly sweet from the floral notes
