Description

Armani launches a new version of the Sì fragrance from 2013, Sì Eau de Toilette that comes out in February 2015. This was preceded by editions Sì Intense and Sì White from 2014. Sì Eau de Toilette is a floral, lighter interpretation of the original. The scent is romantic, fresh, youthful and more energetic. It tells you to say “yes” to simplicity, joy of life, dreams and independence.

The composition is a chypre – floral, based on contrasts. The scent combines fresh notes of “Neo Jungle Essence”, black currant, green pear, Italian bergamot, mandarin and neroli oil with the floral heart of freesia and May rose. A touch of musk, amber wood, vanilla and patchouli end this composition.

The face of the perfume is actress Cate Blanchett. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette in nude – pink bottle.

I can hardly tell this one apart with the original, and I love all Sì versions. It may show just a slight difference but still is a lovely one to have if you collect Sì. Even though it is an EDT, its sillage and longevity are still so impressive compared to other Sì. I love it.

I think this is a brilliant version of the original edp. I adore the original and I’ve repurchased 3 bottles of it but something about it got a bit too heavy for me during recent days. The edt to me smells like Si but more floral and a tiny bit more soapy. Perfect for everyday use and I can imagine this would work for someone who easily gets headaches or doesn’t want to wear anything too loud. The longevity is about 5-6 hours and sillage moderate on me!

Had a previous experience with the Si line at the airport, when i tested the Intense version, which I found too strong and headache inducing (to be fair i wasn’t feeling my best and maybe was a bit sensitive that day), but I quite liked the scent despite its overwhelming intensity, so I decided to try the edt version and sprayed this on at sephora today.
Applied it generously on my wrists, neck area and scarf. It was a cold day and even though i applied plenty directly below my face it wasn’t overpowering. I took a shower so its gone on my skin, but still pretty noticeable on my scarf. Would say it has an ok sillage and longeviy for an edt.
As for the scent, it reminded me of the Intense version, but toned down and more floral in the dry down. I would describe it as a fruity white floral. Can barely smell the musk and patchouli, it is pretty clean, almost like a nice smelling shampoo or a fresh mix of fruity wine and baby powder. I like it and want to have one of the Si perfumes in my collection, but since white florals are not always my favorite, I think I’ll have to try the edp.

A non-controversial, generally acceptable safe scent.
Pleasant, crowd pleaser, but won’t make you memorable. The kind of scent you wear on an early monday morning meeting…. when you want to smell nice, but not to attract your boss’ attention…

Its a totally different scent compared to the original SI EDP, which is my new favorite and signature scent. It’s boring, a little soapy and dries down with a hint of tobacco. I cant stand this one!!! Tried and cold and warm days but its a pass.

A lighter, more restrained cousin of Si. Soft with more fruit and stronger florals. On me, it is much less sweet than Si EDP, but also more generic and uninspired. This fragrance lacks richness. I don’t expect it to be as heavy, but the missing depth is puzzling. I wish it had more complexity because while the notes list is long, it doesn’t translate on my skin. There is a flower in there I don’t really like, either. Pass for me!

This, to me, smells like a woman somewhere in her mid-20s who presents herself seriously but will break out the occasional smile that sparks a curiosity in others for who she is outside of her workplace, in her private space and life; she is perceived as warm but enigmatic.
The fragrance sits yet fades sleekly into the skin at the same time, all the while maintaining an enormous sillage. In the lack of a more accurate description, this scent in some way becomes one with the person wearing it while still being noticeable by others. Furthermore, it’s not a cloying aroma in the slightest, instead, it’s incredibly inviting because of its oh-so-very soft character. I feel like I’m wearing a constant hug from the people I trust and love most in the world (myself included) – I feel safe, and I feel like hugging others to share in on the safety that Si offers like a promise.
Sincerely, I am surprised with how much I like – scratch that, LOVE – this fragrance. My bottle is nearing empty, and while I don’t feel like repurchasing it now, I will most definitely be revisiting this perfume at the point of time in my life when I am somewhere in my mid-20s; I’ve had my fair share of fun with wearing it for now.
I would recommend Si to anyone who wishes to feel serious, refined, warm and one-of-a-kind. You won’t be let down.

I really want to love the Armani Sí collection, but I smell this perfume way too often on the subway. This is however the most day-time appropriate of the Si collection, even though it doesn’t last too long.

What is it with me and modern chypres? I have to have every single one of them. Si was no exception. I scored a big bottle for €50, yay!
Now, let’s move on to the scent. The EDT version differs slightly from the original. It’s a bit lighter, not so sweet, more fruity, and you get a little less patchouli with it. Black currant is the main player here. But you still get the same feel from it, as with the original. It’s a bit lighter but it’s still Si. I actually might like this one better, because the sweetness is well-balanced, not tiresome as it can be with the EDP, and I think that the rose is less prominent. This is no way a summer flanker, but a good all-year-rounder. Fruity champagne is what I would call this.

  10. :

When I first tried Armani sí edp, I didn’t really like that. After maybe 1 year when the new flanker “Le Parfum” arrived, I went into the shop to test that, and I also tested the original one again. I found that really nice than. I think that was because of the cooler weather.
It’s really beautiful in the cooler/ colder weather, I think that was the problem when I first tried, that it was a nice sunny weather then…
In cold when it’s really freezy, this scent behaves differently and it just warms my soul up… So I really wanted to buy that. Finally I pruchased the Eau the Toilette one instead of the edp because I just saw it on a really good price. So it was a blind buying, but I didn’t mind it at all.
This edt version is much lighter/ fresher, and less sweet, than the original one, it doesn’t really change on my skin ( I don’t mind it at all), and it’s more wearable in any season I guess. (Ok maybe for the summer it’s enough 1 press or maybe two, I’ll see, I haven’t tried it in summer yet.)
It stays for long on clothes and on my scarf.. oh my God, This is amazing to smell this fragrance for days on my scarf. It feels like i washed it just the day before. This fragrance became one of my favourites which i always want to have in my collection.
    BUT
I have only one problem with it. :’After I used it for maybe some days more than a week, little, red, itchy spots appeared on my neck, chest, mostly where I sprayed on this frag. 🙁
People said it’s parfume allergy unfortunately. But thanks God, after some days these dissapeared, as I didn’t use Sí edt and any other parfumes for some days (It was so difficult not to use any of them :O ) and then I could enjoy again my parfums except Sí edt.
And now after maybe 2-3 months, I wanted to smell like Sí edt again, and sprayed it on and used it for some days, as I’m really in love with this frag, but the spots appeared again. 🙁 It’s so bad. I cannot use it only on clothes, If I could have a shower in this frag, I would do that really often. I can’t believe that finally I find a frag that I really love beside AoD le secret edp and LPRN couture and want to have in my collection FOREVER and it turns out that, no, you can not use it.
I don’t know what to do now. 🙁

I LOVE the EDP, the EDT, meh, not so much. There is something biting/sour about it on my skin. Fruity and still a bit sweet but to my nose it’s pretty different from the EDP. To me, the EDP is like a sweet dessert wine while the EDT is a white wine.

This is soooo pretty, soft and feminine, so delicious too. Gorgeous fresh flowers, and nice deep rich juicy fruit, with a lovely earthy woody patchouli base, which lasts for roughly 10 hours on me. It’s beautiful. Really, I love it. And the bottle is SUCH a pretty colour. It’s all so lovely, fresh and feminine. Beautiful.

I’m very surprised because this is very close to lychee scent, sweet lychee mixed with syrup. It’s feminine and not fruity imo. Someone looking for lychee fragrance should try this. Compared with Si Rose, this one is more youthful, while Si Rose has some cosmetic vibe.

To me this is totally different from the edp, this one smells so much better and softer,it has that delicately sweet aroma that doesn’t cause me nausea,I’m easily nauseated by strong perfumes.p.s the edp caused me a headache
Anyway this perfume last for long time but the silage is soft

If anyone has this for swap, PM me.
Strangely, although I was not too fond of the EDP (whose uniqueness is muddled by Black Opium, LVEB-esque patchouli) …this turns into a bedroom gourmand on my skin that I really do appreciate. Most importantly, it maintains its unique timbre – glazed pear and apricot wrapped in a floral feminine blanket.
Its sweet simplicity is so fine and unapologetic that I curiously cherish it!

Sì EDT is perfect for someone who is less demanding on a fragrance standout-ish smell. Some people may try very hard to find that one perfume that is so “out-there” it just killed the very first idea on why they decided to pick a signature fragrance that suits them the best.
For me, Sì is not there to out-do or out-smell others in a contensious way, it perfectly gives you the sweet, soft and fresh smell. Personally, I smiled on my initial spray (surprisingly, fresh but not pungent)… Young, girly, soft with all the fruity notes then elegantly turn to a delicate patchouli that I really love!
This was probably one of the best gifts ever received from ze hubby. Suits me very well. In the end, the smell stays on my skin for hours…

  19. :

    4 out of 5

The patchouli is toned down a lot in this vs the original edp (good in my opinion) but it loses a bit of it’s uniqueness and becomes quite run-of-the-mill perfumey (not so good) More wearable for me, but not full-bottle-worthy by any stretch of the imagination.

Sweet & tangy fruits with a light floral bouquet. Very pleasant and pretty, but not great complexity or depth.

I am always a little darkly obsessed with Si, because I want to love it so hard. But it is way too vanilla-wine on me, like that combined with the currant, which is always SO chemicall-y smelling, makes it just sickening on me. But the first time I wore a couple sprays of the EDT, I kept getting hit with this delicious NECTARINE smell, something of the most delicious fruit – was it apricot? And not that heaviness of the wine smell. Since then I have been dying for a bottle, like numero uno on my list, but then when I do go to the store and sample it, or bring home a sample bottle, the currant is still just a little too heavy and I go for something else instead when I buy. Still would love to have this EDT, though! Very sweet, very wine-y, and then a good patchouli (which all but the faintest smells pretty bad on my skin). I feel like this is a great Christmas day perfume for some girl or lady who loves FRUIT and ROSE and PATCHOULI and SWEET. I love to wear La Vie Est Belle, which is what I wound up buying instead, which is not as fruity as this! It is a slightly spicier version of this, perhaps. But the rose in this is so beautiful, it is why I love it and why Si EDT is still and always on my Christmas list, and to me, far better than the EDP!

Passion fruit, mandarins in the beginning, I loved it. Dry down delivers a yuck tobacco smell.

I don’t really understand the point of bringing out an eau de toilette version that is actually quite different. The original Si has a lot of blackberry, this stuff is all pears, and I don’t find anything much of the original in it. Don’t presume you will like this if you have Si eau de parfum, it isn’t blind buy material. It is fresher and lighter, but it’s also so far removed it’s a whole different creature, far more floral and with that quite chemical pear, they may as well have called it Armani No and bothered to design a different bottle. As it dies, the original winks at you from a far distance, as if you’re looking at it down the wrong end of a telescope. I repeat, just, No..

  24. :

    4 out of 5

On my skin it is very sweet and fruity. Much less floral, patchouli and bergamot smelling than the perfume itself on it’s dry down. It is slightly rosy on my skin but mainly very fruity and sweet. I like it much better on my skin versus the fragrance itself if I were to smell the bottle or spray it on a piece of paper. It’s a more mature take on a fruity fragrance which I enjoy and I’m glad the patchouli and bergamot doesn’t come out on my skin because I don’t tend to enjoy those notes especially when put together. I recently discovered on me it smells quite different than it does in the bottle and it has convinced me to start to wear it because I have not touched it since I purchased it because when I smell the bottle it makes me sick because of that patchouli and bergamot.

Fruity, citrus, sweet, and lots of black currant on me. Love. This is a very “sparkly” fragrance, IMO. Young, fun-loving, and a little flirty. Brings to mind an optimistic 20-something woman who’s still discovering herself, but doing so with confidence.
Occasionally I do a couple sprays of this and one spritz of the EDP to give a little more longevity and woodiness. I only wish this lasted a little longer on my skin, I just get a couple hours. On my clothing, I’ll get several hours of wear, although it’s very subtle.
You could wear this in Spring or Fall, in my opinion, but it’s probably too sweet for Summer and too light for Winter.
Way to go, Giorgio Armani. A great fragrance!

I have EDT one. The first thing must be said about this fragrance is how it smells unique. It is very long lasting. When you squeeze it first ,you may feel a very sharp scent but later it turns soft. It leaves a different fragrance on the skin. I think it is black currant .Probably every one may notice you when you have this scent on you.

it’s too light for me, i prefer EDP than EDT version. sweetly delicious wine vanilla in a bottle, good for someone don’t like the strong sweet perfume, this one is for you. it’s just okay and nothing more i can say.
suitable for daily perfume, never repealing people around us. great for office-work, work out and vacation

I have only sniffed it from the bottle and read your reviews with hope. I had the happy impression of something lighter and less sweet than Si EDP, floral freesia- and citrus-like freshness, less patchouli, so it should be easier to wear than EDP, which I had and liked, but that was too strong and a little too sweet.
Looking forward to confirming the upper judgement.
Edit: Well after testing it, I can’t confirm my hopes. For me it’s even sweeter with an unrecognizable chemical floral blast, no, not my piece of cake…

This took me by a complete surprise! I was on a mission the other day while at the mall to go sniff a few of my ‘dislikes’. I’m all about second chances apparently 🙂 During my sniffing I discovered that I was a lot more tolerant in regards to many of my ‘dislikes’ than I previously thought. I had tested the original Armani Si when it first came out. Did. Not. Like. It. So I made it a point to approach the Armani Si again and see how I would fare. I knew there were a few new flankers also that I had not tried. So I started spraying. The originial on my left wrist. Wait a few seconds. Sniff. Hmmm…this was actually not as bad as I remembered, not a total love for me, but I definitely was not hating. I grabbed the black bottle and sprayed on my right wrist. Inhaling deeply. “Hey! This one I quite like”. Less cassis, more fruit. But a very deep scent. Then I saw a nude bottle I had not seen before, Armani Sí edt. So I grabbed and sprayed. “Well Hello there! Wow! This is NICE”, were the immediate thoughts running through my mind.
There is something about the EDT that just grabbed me instantly. It does have the Armani Sí DNA for sure, but it is lighter, brighter, fruitier, but still not really in a fruity kind of way…if that makes any sense? It is sweet, but not cloyingly sugary sweet. In short I fell in love with it and it has gone to no 1 on my want list. It is a beautiful fragrance for any time of the year really and lasting power is good for an EDT. A definite thumbs up from me 🙂

Just tried a sample of this one and all I get is one note that smells exactly like the wild passionfruit that grows around here in the summer. Not an unpleasant scent but not really one I want to wear. I guess my skin doesn’t allow the other notes to come out. The scent was gone within an hour. Sometimes I wonder if they dilute samples.

    I must say… I’m actually impressed.
Very niiiiiceee. First the bottle. Yes.
And the smell, … sO surprised… it
actually smells rather delic. Well it’s
Winter… I doubt I’d want to have anything
to do with this in the Spring/Summer… we
will just see…, won’t we. Meanwhile I am
craving the Pure Oil Perfume m! m! Peace

It’s rare that I receive perfume as a gift, so this was a definite surprise, though it is the perfect fragrance to give to someone.
I would never have bought this. If I had sampled it I would have shrugged it off as a sweet, feminine fruit-chouli (modern chypre, the kind made popular by coco mad and Miss Dior). By sweet, I don’t mean sugar. I mean the type of woman who wears those fragrances.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive it. It’s a toned down Miss Dior, like the dry-down. Very feminine, unremarkable in a good way. I really, really like it. An everyday scent, a touch romantic, not other-worldly.
I would never have bought it, no, but am happy to own it and imagine I’ll be wearing it a lot.

  33. :

This is a lighter more floral scent than the EDP, and not nearly as sweet. As I’m not into really sweet scents, I like this better than the EDP, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t last that long on me.
It’s a nice fresh floral fragrance, perfect for daytime, but there’s nothing in there that excites me or compels me to go out and buy it.

  34. :

Si is a very feminine soft perfume. I love the powdery flower scent which leaves you wanting to smell it again and again. 10 out of 10 on this one. Very nice.

  35. :

Just sampled this today. This EDT is a lovely and more romantic interpretation of the original.
It’s lighter, more floral and a lot fresher. It is not as strong in it’s approach and has an overall more delicate aesthetic.
The freesia and Osmanthus helped contribute to the lighter ethereal feel.
This one is on my wish list for the new year!

  36. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve tried the EDP and EDT of this and am just not impressed. It seems that some others are getting a complexity to this scent that I’m just not getting on my skin. I don’t dislike it, it just comes across as a very straightforward and very sweet floral, drying down to a faint candy/vanilla on me that is pleasant but quite boring.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I have samples of both Si EDT and EDP so I can test them side by side. I find the EDT lighter and fresher than the original, with much less vanilla at the end. Which saddens me because I was hoping for the same vanilla dry-down as the EDP, without the strong perfumey/cassis note with the initial spray.
Whilst the EDT is pleasant it’s not outstanding, I have no strong compulsion to buy it. I would describe it as a fresh, light and slightly sweet floral scent. I don’t find it particularly fruity although I can detect some faint fruits (pear and mandarin?) in the top notes. Fairly easy to wear but nothing special. The EDP is better IMO.

  38. :

    5 out of 5

My husband gifted me the largest bottle of Si in the EDP. Now, I wanted to like it, and when I’d sampled it, I thought I did. Well, there is some note in it that I just don’t like. I’ve tried wearing it twice, and I just have a hard time getting past that note.
The other day, I sampled the EDT, and the sales lady told me the scent was the same, that this was just the EDT version. Well, for me, there is a difference in scent. I didn’t get that weird note that bothered me in the EDP, and I far prefer the EDT. I loved the longevity of the EDP, but who wants longevity when you can’t stand to wear a perfume? At some point, I’ll buy the EDT, because it seems to be what I’d hoped the EDP would be.
For me, there is quite a difference between the two, and in this case, the EDT is the far prettier sister.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

I tried the EDP and though I liked it, nothing in me said ‘you gotta have this’. I’m sure the EDT was released afterwards (at least in South Africa). When I tested the EDT I felt ‘wow, now this I’ve gotta buy’. To me, there’s quite a big difference between the two. I find the EDT to be sweeter. It still lasts long on my skin & I don’t feel overwhelmed by it. I don’t get ‘fruity’ in the sense that I’d expect from a fruity fragrance. I just get beautiful 🙂 I love it!

  40. :

Si EDT was such a wonderful surprise.
After having the sales assistant give my arm 2 lavish sprays and getting a familiar fruit burst reminding me of Britney Spears’ Fantasy which made me quite panicky – unfortunately I never quite got to love Fantasy as it seemed to be an overwhelmingly sweet fruity fragrance, I did however get many compliments when wearing it – Si never got to that level of sweet.
After my panick subsided and I let myself explore Si I was very pleased to discover that I could actually enjoy a fruity fragrance.
After the initial burst, I get the smell of apricots. I know they aren’t listed but my parents have a huge apricot tree in the back garden with a large fig tree, slightly smaller peach, large lemon and small plum. In summer when the trees are laden with fruit, that apricot smell is wonderful.
I do also get blackcurrent, fresh citrus and pear. Another unlisted note I get is gooseberry (also from childhood memories of my parent’s garden). They seem to float just above my skin and every now and then one note will stand out. I only notice the strawberry much later on.
After a while the floral side becomes more noticeable with beautiful rose and freesia and the base notes seem to bring everything together smoothly with no notes overpowering the others. Just a harmony over my skin.
On waking this morning I smelled my arm and the fragrance was exquisite, I was transported back to happy carefree memories in the summer garden. For a moment all was at peace.
Today I wore it again and have truly fallen in love.
“The scent is romantic, fresh, youthful and more energetic. It tells you to say “yes” to simplicity, joy of life, dreams and independence.” – I couldn’t agree more.
    Edit: 30.03.2016
I have found that on really hot days the sweetness can become cloying so I have not used it that much over the summer, or reserved it for evening wear when it is cooler.

When I tested this the first thing that came to mind was Indult Manakara. If they were to reformulate and rerelease Manakara true fans would rebel, but as a product of a separate company, it is a less expensive easier to find suitable alternative. It mirrors the candied rose and sugary sweet litchi fruit. Yum.
The Si EDP and EDT start out differently but end up, I think, in essentially the same place for the drydown. I prefer the EDT beginning and middle notes. The EDP has more of a “perfumy” air about it that bothers my nose, and my sinuses (ok some will understand this). It’s as if it permeates every part of my nasal passage with the perfumy aspect and leaves me reaching for something to take the feeling away. Don’t get me wrong, it does smell good, but I can’t put my nose to my wrist to smell it with out “that” feeling.
The EDT starts out on a base of candied rose & fruity litchi sweetness and skips the fruity floral portion of the EDP. But as mentioned, in the drydown they seem the very similar to me.
I am still a Manakara addict, but Si EDT is a more affordable option I can wear and not feel as if I’m opening the gold vault. You know the one you fell in love with and gave an arm to get. Thankfully in the money world you can grow the arm back like a lizards tail but you still eyeball that bottle with your arm in it.
I picked up a bottle of it. Definitely test both the EDP & EDT before you choose one.

I am getting this next time I am out. I have the regular and the black one. Both I love , I always thought that the EDT has similar or same notes until I tried it today! And wow it’s fresher and fruitier and like fresh out of the shower. Still sweet and yummy but definitely fresher and great for summer. I love the strawberry note. What a great perfume. Must have for a Si lover like myself. Bottle is stunning like the others and smells clean, fresh , sweet but sophisticated in my opinion. Someone said , less vanilla and fresher than original. That pretty much sums it up !
I also love that musk is added to this one ,,,
Total winner , modern fragrance !
Update , bought this today and in love. It finally came to me what it smells like,,,, Miss Dior !!!! But sweeter and nicer , almost identical though without that coco mad vibe that I am getting from Miss Dior. This is close to Miss Dior Cherie with the strawberry and sweet popcorn note. Very similar !
And as I see here people had said the same , how did I never notice ?
SI is a little sweeter and creamier.
    Update
My favourite from the SI line

After reading the reviews on here I thought i would test this out as a possible summer holiday scent as i fear that the EDP would be a bit strong.
At first i thought i would like it more than the EDP as the opening is a bit lighter but the drydown on me is pure ‘freshly sawn wood’ i am sure it is very nice on some but its dark on me and a bit headache inducing.
The EDP smells a lot airier and smoother on me than the EDT.

    OMG!I’m in love!!
Beautiful, elegant, feminine, very lovely fruity fragrance with floral undertones.
The blackcurrant is the most prominent note in this with little freesia and pear, and with a fantastic patchouli-vanilla untertone!
At first it was very fruity like a tropical coctail, and than turns into a enchantic elegant fragrance. It’s very lovely and a bit fresher than the original, but not as sweet as the original it’s more fresh, fruity, floral.I think when you use it carefully for summer is very gorgeous fragrance, and for every season I think!
Oooh and the bottle is fuuuh,Very elegant,I love loveeeee the light pink-nude color(my favorite colour).Love it,Love it,Love it

I just tried it today and had a sample of it. Its really lighter and it still has the warmth and yummi feeling from the first Si. The patchouli is amazing in this one, really beautiful , its sweet but not in your face offensive kind of sweet in a nice boozy way. I would say all seasons appropriate and longevity and sillage is a little above moderate. I really like it.

Let me start by saying ” Wow”. This is absolutely lighter version than the first one. Fresh enough to fresh you up, A little fruity that make you feel younger, Easy wearing enough when you just stay at home, Tender sweet enough to make you feel warm, Lighter enough for you to wear in Summer, Softer enough to make you feel like floating on air, Very pretty enough to wear and dating with a hot guy, Formal enough to wear with a full dressing, Perfectly to make you feel beautiful from inner to outside. So adorable !!!

Really love it! It’s much lighter than the original ‘Si’ and also more fruity and powdery, which makes it more wearable for me. I have the eau de parfum one too and when I decided to try the eau de toilette as well, I was impressed because it’s a lighter smell but still keeps the original ‘Si’ identity.
It lasts for a couple of hours, but of course it’s not so long lasting as the original one. If you love Giorgio Armani’s ‘Si’ and you like to wear it also in spring-summer period, I would suggest this lighter version, which is still sweet but not overpowering.

Just tried it and it is so very similar to the original, I don’t find it lighter, or fresher!? So I dont see the point of owning it if you already have the original! Which I love!!

This is a nice sweet scent for women, because its has a hint of spice or patchouli, it won’t give off the teenager vibe. The silage (staying power) seemed a bit weak in my opinion. I wouldn’t purchase this perfume for myself, but it would make a nice gift for someone, as most people would enjoy this scent and not find it overly intrusive to the senses.

Very similar to EDP version, maybe it is only little fresher. Very little! I mean it is not a fresh scent. It is very sweet scent. I think it would be better for cold season, because such sweetness can be nauseating in heat.
EDT which is meant for summer, should be fresh. Well, better don’t take it for granted! And please, don’t over-spray it on hot summer day unless you want people to pass out.

Mi piace un sacco! Finora ho amato tutte le versioni a partire dal Sì originale. Questa edt è leggermente più fiorita e meno vanigliata. Inoltre ha una persistenza inferiore all’edp.

It’s decidedly Si only a bit fresher and with a smaller dose of vanilla. It’s nice if you like Si, but it’s linear with 0 development, what you get with the first spray lingers half a day and doesn’t seem to melt with the skin, it can be tiring.

I don’t like Giorgio Armani perfumes except for Si original, I kind of like it. When I got this as a sample I first thought it was the original Si and tried it. I discovered when I smelled the first whiff of it that it was not.
This one is more fruity and fresh and I don’t like it at all.

I doused myself in this yesterday while at work. The brand new Si Toilette is definitely lighter than the Parfum, with some fruitier notes. Our Armani vendor and I were trying to nail it down — smells Peachier, but it may be the Pear notes described above that you don’t see in the Parfum. I showed this sent to a handful of customers who could not smell it after having taken a whiff of the Parfum first — kept forgetting to start them off with the lighter one before moving on to the heavier. Side by side, you definitely notice the Toilette doesn’t quite knock you over like the Parfum. The scents are practically the same but this one feels more summery due to the fruity notes, and perhaps more powdery. I’ve had a lot of comments like “It smells real and organic, not synthetic,” to which I reply, “It’s Armani. They use top quality essential oils in all their fragrance,” which is true. The result is a complex, unique and distinctive scent that I think is only matched by Chanel or Dior in class. That’s just my opinion and I’m not affiliated with Armani (even though it kinda sounded like it, hah).
On me, though, I’m finding Si turns and makes me feel a little ill. It’s very long wearing, I will say that, and I found myself nauseous as the scent persisted in wafting past my nose throughout the night. On the whole, Si has been a very popular seller, almost always gets a strong positive reaction from customers smelling it for the first time, and had a stellar breakout season. People love it! I love it too, but maybe not on me.

Nothing special…similar to Signorina Eleganza. Not bad but boring and same some other perfumes.

If you know the original Si, this smells the same, only difference I noticed: less vanilla and a tiny bit fresher 🙂

This is similar to the original. Just as sweet and fruity. It’s wasn’t light at first. Linearly sweet and fruity.
    I don’t think it’s lighter than other Si’s.
Sweetly delicious, but might be too much for some days.
